Obama Stirring fear in Finacing

Hey folks,

It seems that the all Obama all the time thing has gotten some worried about their ability to raise funds. According to The USA Today "Washington" section.

"WASHINGTON — The competition among presidential contenders for the Democratic Party's most influential donors and fundraisers grew more intense Tuesday with Sen. Barack Obama's decision to raise money to explore a 2008 race.

The move by the Illinois senator comes as many of the party's top-tier fundraisers sit on the sidelines and size up the potential rivalry between Obama and New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton."

It goes on to talk about how much various candidates are raising. It talks about the stars coming out to support anyone Liberal. As a matter of fact some will support ALL the LWL candidates.

"Margery Tabankin, a Democratic activist who advises Barbra Streisand and other Hollywood figures on giving, says many Hollywood Democrats are looking closely at Clinton, Obama and former senator John Edwards. "You will see people writing checks to all three — not cynically, but to let them each get their message out there," she said."

Then you have this. This just made me laugh,

"Billionaire George Soros, who gave more than $15 million to liberal groups working to defeat President Bush in 2004, will probably give to several Democrats but "has no plans to become actively involved in the primary," aide Michael Vachon said."

{Laughing} That’s because he will be behind the scenes. Make no mistake about it, who Soros likes, will get the most press coverage. As we learned from the last election, that could be enough.

What about Hillary?

"Clinton aide Jonathan Mantz said big donors will support the former first lady. "We are going to be in a very solid position going into this race, if we decide to do it," he said.

Clinton has $14 million left over from her Senate campaign that she can use for a White House bid."

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. Obama seems to be the Golden Boy. He’s in a very good position to get the big money.

One, he is a minority. This means he will be a lock for the minority vote. People will take that into SERIOUS consideration.

Two, he’s "Sexy" A media dream and a very real posiblity to steal the women votes away from Hillary.

Three, there are many that do not think Hillary has a snowball’s change in hell to win.

No my friends, big donors want to have something for their investments. They will not just through money away on nothing. They want results. Just more proof that Hillary will have to be even more on the defensive, and offensive, when it comes to BO

I can't even imagine the us under a Hillary Clinton presidency.
I doubt very much the US would survive.
How could anyone even consider voting for her.

Hey Bill,

Me either. I truly do not think that this will happen. I truly do not believe she can win. But then again, I didn’t think there were so many sheep out there. But the LWL are in power now. Let’s hope America wake up in the next two years.

By the way, just on a side note, What happened to the NTL? I went to respond to Fubars and found it’s “not available.” Did they shut it down?

We’ll have to watch these races closely to see what happens. It’s looking more and more like BO may be the LWL choice for 08. We’ll see.

According to the NT staff member I'm in contact with the NT is reformatting it to make it more useful to the NT readers.
I believe the crybaby's like Fubars and Old Quarry Nature Guy couldn't win any discussions so they complained.

OH OK,

Thanks Bill. I'll check on it from time to time, or if you notice that it's up again, drop me a line if you have time.

Yeah I figured that it was something like what happened on the last board we were all a part of. The complained all the way to the closing of the board. The powers to be just got tired of it and figured that it wasn't worth it anymore.

It's a simple concept, if you feel strongly about something that someone says, then prove your side. Get the facts and argue the point. If you are wrong, then you are wrong. But they operate just like the Big Wigs in the LWL. Believe what we say, do not question it. If not, we will attempt to dis-credit or silence you. The whole time saying that they are for "Free speech."
