End of Day Round Up, January 22, 2007

Hey folks,

What a busy news day today. Most of it is about our enemies. Some about "their enemy" the President and his upcoming speech, and just a humorous one for fun.

First the two big ones today. Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez, telling the US to "go to hell." This is not new. I’m not so sure I understand why this is big news. OH yeah, he is saying what the MMD and LWL want to, but technically cannot.

Do you remember back in September?

UNITED NATIONS (CNN) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez tore into his U.S. counterpart and his U.N. hosts Wednesday, likening President Bush to the devil and telling the General Assembly that its system is "worthless."

"The devil came here yesterday," Chavez said, referring to Bush, who addressed the world body during its annual meeting Tuesday. "And it smells of sulfur still today."

Chavez accused Bush of having spoken "as if he owned the world" and said a psychiatrist could be called to analyze the statement. (

"As the spokesman of imperialism, he came to share his nostrums to try to preserve the current pattern of domination, exploitation and pillage of the peoples of the world. An Alfred Hitchcock movie could use it as a scenario. I would even propose a title: 'The Devil's Recipe.' "

Well, today?

"President Hugo Chavez told U.S. officials to "Go to hell, gringos!" and called Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice "missy" on his weekly radio and TV show Sunday, lashing out at Washington for what he called unacceptable meddling in Venezuelan affairs.

The tirade came after Washington raised concerns about a measure to grant the fiery leftist leader broad lawmaking powers. The National Assembly, which is controlled by the president's political allies, is expected to give final approval this week to what it calls the "enabling law," which would give Chavez the authority to pass a series of laws by decree during an 18-month period.

On Friday, U.S. State Department deputy spokesman Tom Casey said Chavez's plans under the law "have caused us some concern."

Chavez rejected Casey's statement in his broadcast, saying: "Go to hell, gringos! Go home!"

He also attacked U.S. actions in the Middle East.

"What does the empire want? Condoleezza said it. How are you? You've forgotten me, missy ... Condoleezza said it clearly, it's about creating a new geopolitical" map in the Middle East, Chavez said."

Can’t you just see the jealousy of those that would love to come right out and call the President the devil and tell him to go to hell. Can you not see the envy that President Chavez may have this power to just create laws by decree? The LWL would LOVE this power.

Now to our little friend in Iran. Seems Little Hitler barred some 38 inspectors.

"Iran has barred 38 nuclear inspectors on a United Nations list from entering the country, the foreign minister said Monday in what appeared to be retaliation for the U.N. sanctions imposed last month.

The United States rebuked Iran for the move. State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said it was "another example of the Iranians trying to dictate the terms to the international community — in this case, the IAEA."

We need to keep watching. I told you before, that even if most want to ignore or down play his rise, I will be watching and reporting. We waited and watched the original until it was too late. Six million Jews died. I say we do not wait too much longer with this one.

In the bizarre category, on the eve of the President’s State of The Union Address, somehow the MMD received a video of a terrorist mocking the President.

"(CNN) -- In a video released Monday, al Qaeda's second in command ridicules President Bush's plan to send more U.S. troops to Iraq and predicts a fate "worse than anything you have yet seen."

"Security is a shared destiny," says Ayman al-Zawahiri, the chief aide to Osama bin Laden, on the video, which was tracked by lauramansfield.com, a Web site that analyzes terrorism.

The video, released on the eve of Bush's planned State of the Union address, lasts about 14 minutes.

"If we are secure, you might be secure, and if we are safe, you might be safe. And if we are struck and killed, you will definitely -- with Allah's permission -- be struck and killed." {
Watch a soundbite from the video}

Al-Zawahiri cites Bush's plan to send more than 20,000 U.S. troops to Iraq, and asks, "Why not send 50,000 or 100,000?

"Aren't you aware that the dogs of Iraq are pining for your troops' dead bodies? Send your entire army to be annihilated at the hands of the mujahedeen to free the world from your evil and theirs because Iraq, the land of the caliphate and jihad, is able to bury 10 armies like yours, with God's help and power.""

The MMD are in contact with the enemy. Yet noone seems to have a problem with this? We are in a war, and our media are conversing with the enemy. They play videos that they are given. They print false allegations as facts. Falsify photos. Email back and forth. Yet noone can find them? If you sent an illicit email to an underage child, you would have the police knocking down your door. Yet these enemies of the US that are killing our men and women. They WILL attack again if given the chance, can correspond with the press freely? Somehow, that just makes no sense to me.

OH, Hilary is running.

Now we rap it up with some humor. Someone sent this to me and I have to share. Did you know that Speaker Pelosi has publicly said that a fetus is a baby? Yup, you read correctly, Nancy Pelosi has stated that a fetus is a baby. According to Ellen Goodman January 5, 2007, Boston Globe,

"But Pelosi married young, bore five children in six years, raised them, and didn't run for office until her youngest was ready for college. She was 47 when she got onto the fast track. She won the speaker's cup at 66.

Pelosi was not plucked from the kitchen to Congress. The stay-at-home mom label may be politically correct these days but technically incorrect. Pelosi, offspring of a political family, was always involved in a campaign, she says, "no matter how little my babies were, if I was wheeling them in a carriage or carrying them in my stomach.""

{Laughing} I had to read this twice. "no matter how little my babies were, if I was wheeling them in a carriage or carrying them in my stomach." So if the fetus "in my stomach" is a baby, I wonder how she justifies embryonic stem cell research or abortion. If it is a baby, then it is murder. Right?

Anyway, as I said, BUSY news day. See you all tomorrow.
Peter
