"Attack on Family"
Hey folks,
I came in yesterday to write the Daily Article. I sat down and started to scan the news to see what was going on, and the very first thing I saw, was the AP story about this brainless twit, Democratic Assemblywoman Sally Lieber, wanting to put you in jail for spanking your child.
This just flooded my mind with a smorgasbord of emotion, along with an agglomerate of other such examples of the on going attack on the family, and the result today. From "Women’s Lib" to attack on God, attack on marriage itself, to filling education with agendas instead of the basics, to now, the attempt to control corrective behavior.
First came the "Women Liberation Movement." Now let me start by saying I think women should be equal. I think they should have the right to vote. I have no problem with that aspect of it. This is not what I’m talking about. What I am referring to is the part where they say, "You don’t need a man. You don’t need to have and raise kids. You are Women. You are better than any man. Do for you first. Forget the family thing." Well some did. Some regret that to this day. Now there are many that would love to go back to the day where they could stay home and raise their kids. Some wish they could turn back the clock just to HAVE kids. But the damage has been done.
The sad fact is that most of the time, you HAVE to have both parents working just to pay the bills. This in of itself creates a strain on the family. The need for both to be out of the house, opens the door to outside influence. Now others get an early start on how your child acts, learns, and what they believe.
The school system itself came under fire. All references to God was under attack. Instead of reading writing, and arithmetic, agendas started to fill the schools. Evolution was started to be the "fact" taught. Cannot teach Creationism any longer, that would include the possibility of God. Now I love science. I understand science. But both Creationism and evolution are THEORIES. Both have scientific proof of existence, but neither can be absolutely proven. So to promote one above the other is the teaching of theory. Is the promotion of agendas. As a matter of fact, evolution is scientifically proven false. But teach all, or teach none.
Then you had the removal of abstinence, and the addition of condoms. Some school's have teachers teaching kids how to put them on a banana with their mouth. Then you had the removal of "family values" and the addition of "why Susy has two mommies.
School should be reading, writing, and arithmetic. It should be the basics. Get our kids ready for the real world. But the removal of God, morals, and commonsense, in the name of agendas have seen an "evolution" from talking and chewing gum, to rape and murder being the trend. Our little girls are having contests of how many blowjobs they can give. Our boys, how many girls they can "do."
We have pushed the envelope so far in this country, increased the "gray area" so much, that there is no longer any real right and wrong. Add into this the whole psycho-babble garbage of "It’s not your fault." you get what we got. Out of control kids, that grow up to be out of control adults having kids, not knowing they ARE out of control.
So what is the government’s answer? Create an organization that monitors and protect kids. DCF Department of Children and Families, CPS Child Protective Services. It may be known as or DFPS, ETC in your area. This is a government organization with "good intentions" but WAY too much power to destroy healthy families. For just some examples Check THIS out. This you have story after story of missing and abused kids in Foster Care There are a THOUSAND missing in Florida alone.
There is story after story of Foster Care failings. But yet, with a phone call, they can come to your house, rip your kids right out of their own bedrooms, and destroy the family. WITH NO EVIDENCE. No trial. Nothing. Just an anonymous complaint. Yet where these, possibly happy and healthy kids go, they are really abused and turn up missing. So you fight to get them back, when you are "found innocent," the damage is done to your kid. If they can find them.
So is THIS who will be enforcing the "Spanking laws." There are those that believe that "Time Out" works. There are even some that are making money selling "Time Out" merchandise. "Time Out" doesn’t work. It may have an effect the first or second time, but in the long run, it really does not deter the behavior that causes the need.
Spanking on the other hand DOES. I’m not justifying nor promoting "beating" the child. Noone is. We all ready have laws that enforce that. But a spanking when deserved, does work. Has worked for thousands of years.
From the new smoking laws, to this moron attempting to make it a misdemeanor to spank your child, the Liberals are stripping you of right after right, in the name of "protecting the children." I’ve said before as to dealing with the school system, the reason is simple. He who controls the youth, controls the future. If the Liberals and the Government can take the rights away from those parents that they do not agree with, they can raise up a whole new breed of Liberals. In turn, destroy what they deem "problematic" to the furthering of Liberalism itself. You know, Christianity, morals, or anything anti-Liberal.
Generation after generation of stripping away rights, morals, and increasing the grey area, the "anything goes" crowd has given us what we have today. They want to continue, even know some, do not even understand that this is more wrong than they can possibly believe.
Parents need to stand up and say, enough is enough. WE are the parents. They are OUR kids. WE will raise them how we see fit. They will be the people we teach them to be. WE are the final authority. WE do not care what you think. WE do not care what the school says. WE know what is right and just. WE will teach our kids. STAY OUT OF OUR FAMILY.
Only then, will we start making progress in returning morals, right and wrong, and truly protecting our children.
