Is This What The Libs Want?

Hey folks,

In the past I’ve done a series of articles talking about the Moral Decline in America. I got a wide and varied response. From those that agreed, to those the didn’t even think there was a moral decline. The people who participated covered the gambit of ideals.

In the midis of the debate someone brought up the "Political Correctness" concept. This really is a problem. There are some who believe that "PC" was just made up by the "Right Wing Religious Radicles" in an attempt to limit and hinder freedoms. That is just plain ridiculous. But then again, so is the fact that some feel there is no problem.

The "PC" movement is simple. Do as you will as long as you do not hurt anyone. Do not speak bad of anyone. Do not mention Christmas for Jew’s sake. Do not mention Easter for secular’s sake. Do not speak of the wrongness of this one or that one, we are all one big family. You get the point. Well, if we continue this trend, we could end up like The Netherlands?

The Netherlands, which already has liberal policies on soft drugs, prostitution and gay marriage, may now have a new group joining the fray. Dutch pedophiles. Yes you heard me correctly.

They are forming a political party that will push for a cut in the legal age for sexual relations to 12 from 16 and the legalization of child pornography and sex with animals. I’m not making this up folks. The Group, Freedom and Diversity (NVD) party said on its Web site it would be officially registered Wednesday, proclaiming:

"We are going to shake The Hague awake!"

Talk about a Left Wing Looney, Ad van den Berg, one of the party's founders, told the Algemeen Dagblad (AD) newspaper, "A ban just makes children curious,"and "We want to make pedophilia the subject of discussion,"

He then said, "We want to get into parliament so we have a voice. Other politicians only talk about us in a negative sense, as if we were criminals."

You ARE. These people are sick. Here are some more of their ideas according to Reuters, you can read the whole story here.

The party wants private possession of child pornography to be allowed although it supports the ban on the trade of such materials. It also supports allowing pornography to be broadcast on daytime television, with only violent pornography limited to the late evening.

Toddlers should be given sex education and youths aged 16 and up should be allowed to appear in pornographic films and prostitute themselves. Sex with animals should be allowed although abuse of animals should remain illegal, the NVD said.

The party also said everybody should be allowed to go naked in public and promotes legalizing all soft and hard drugs and free train travel for all.

Folks I’m telling you this, if the moral decline continues, and "PC" continues to push the envelope further and further, before you know it, we could have a group like this,,,,oh wait,,we do. Maybe NAMBLA will create a new political party. For those tired of the Right and Left, they will be able to vote WAY OUT THERE..

The Games They Play,

Hey folks,

I know that this is an old news story. Not that it really ever hit the "Main Stream Press". I read it on Newsmax.com. But it goes to prove my point. I have said, and continue to say, that if the Left has ANY possibility to win ANY election, they have to stop playing the games they play. Well, they still do not listen.

Senator Clinton, that’s Hillary for some of my Right Wing Radical friends, called for $1 billion in grants for research on making ethanol from plant cellulose. Cellulose is found in corn stalks, wheat straw, grass, and other natural products.

Why is this a great example of the games I’m talking about? Simple, Senator Clinton was one of 26 senators who opposed the energy bill passed by Congress in 2005 mandating the use of 7.5 billion gallons of ethanol by 2012. The bill included a 30 percent tax credit for the cost of installing pumps capable of dispensing fuel that is 85 percent ethanol. The is also a program authored by Sen. Tom Harkin, D-Iowa, for subsidizing the production of ethanol from plant cellulose.

I agree with Judicial Watch Inc, when they said,

"Could the sudden change have anything to do with the fact that, as a farm state, Iowa would benefit tremendously from corn-based ethanol consumption and the state just happens to host the caucuses that kick off the presidential nomination process?"

That’s right folks, just one year ago, she voted NO. She said her reason for voting against it was,,

"I have to look to first protecting and supporting the needs of the people I represent right now."

So helping people save money and be less dependent on foreign oil is NOT protecting and supporting those you represent? Who do you represent Senator? Now a year later, with a growing disdain for the out of control gas prices, in a state that is hosting the start of the Presidential nomination process, you have uh,,changed your mind? What happened to the people you "represent" now?

This is what I’m talking about. They, the Left Wing Looney fringe, TRULY believe that we are this stupid. They truly believe that you, an intelligent, independent thinker, cannot see through such a clear attempt to win the state? I assure you they do.

Cullen Sheehan, director of Iowa's Republican Party, said,

"Iowans remember her anti-ethanol past and are looking for strong leaders who won't run from their record and change positions whenever it's politically expedient."

This type of games do not win elections...

Happy Memorial Day,

To all those that serve us, protect us, and have given their lives that we may be free to do the things we do, THANK YOU.

I would also like to take a second to thank another group so often forgotten. You know Folks, we get so lost in politics, partisanship, and self-importance, we forget this group. The group that has given perhaps even more.

Now hear me out on this one.

"There is no greater love than a man lie down his life for another."

The men and women who have given all for us MUST be honored, and never forgotten.

Although this is the greatest sacrifice someone can give, they are where they went. But I cannot help but feel that this group suffers even more. In essence, sacrifices more than even the men and women that died. Why, because they are still with us. They are still alive.

This group, is the families of those killed defending and protecting our freedoms. These are the Fathers and Mothers, the Sons and Daughters, the Brothers and Sisters. These are those that have lost the greatest loss. They continue to live their lives with that continuous pain of never again having their family member there with them.

The next time you think about and or thank those that died for us, let’s take time out to thank those that are still here to actually hear our words. Lets say to the FAMILIES of those that have died,

THANK YOU!

I do not do this often, but to that group that goes around protesting the funerals of those that have died, you are nothing but a piece of trash that needs to be removed with the rest of the garbage. The only reason you CAN do this is BECAUSE of those that gave the greatest sacrifice. There is a time and a place. The funeral of lost loved ones, is not it.

IWA May 28th 2006,

Hey folks,

This one was close. I WAS going to give the IWA to Marjorie Thompson, a 44 year old woman who got tire of a Sheriff’s helicopter flying over her house, so she shot fireworks at it. But then in the last minute, Pat Robertson comes from no where to take the prize.

According to the AP, and Yahoo news, Pat Robertson not only feels we should exterminate some foreign leaders as if the were vermin, say that it was NY’s Fault for 911, and that and hurricanes are God’s punishment for sin, he NOW has proven that he is a SUPERMAN.

Turns out theat his latest claim is that He has leg pressed 2000 pounds. He is 76 years old. You can find this boast on the website of his Christian Broadcasting Network, in a posting headlined "How Pat Robertson Leg Pressed 2,000 Pounds."

Read the whole claim at:

http://www.cbn.com/communitypublic/shake.asp

I agree with Clay Travis of CBS SportsLine.com,

"Where in the world did Robertson even find a machine that could hold 2,000 pounds at one time?"

If he really did this, then "Up, up, and away, Super Robertson. Let all the deviant Sinners everywhere beware." But if you did NOT do this, to claim you did, makes you the winner of the IWA this week.

If You Wait, You Will Never

Hey folks,

Going back a while here. I remember almost as soon as I hit about 21 years old, I was asked the same question. On and off, from different people, the question came. My answer to every one of them was the same. I’m not ready yet. The answer I got was ALWAYS the same.

“If you wait until you are ready, until you can afford it, you will never do it.”

A friend of mine sent me this article that was talking about the cost of raising a child. Now some 15 years later, with a Son, I found that this advice was correct. If I had read this article before hand, I may have taken a different path. Pretty scary if you think about it. The article breaks down all the expected and unexpected costs of raising the child. I started looking into this a little further and found Baby Center. They have the Cost of Raising a Child Calculator. I’ll admit I found this pretty cool.

It allows you to break down single or two parent homes, location of where you live, etc. The results are pretty frightening. For the person that sent the article to me, the results were estimated at $395,812.

Let’s work with this number for a second. This is actually a LOW number. Let’s take real life and add in some stuff shall we?

According to the Calculator, miscellaneous is $968.00 annual. I guess that would be Birthday and Christmas presents. How much did you ACTUALLY spend? Then take my situation. $2000.00 for a helmet, doctors visits etc. This is in addition. Then you have to add in other stuff that comes up, like with my friend who has a Daughter in Cheerleading. My friend sent me the breakdown of cost for just this summer. Total, $707.00 not expected.

I have friends with children with other medical conditions that are even more costly. Then comes the whole school and life experiences. As most of you may know, I just attended my Nieces 8th grad graduation. This is a middle school graduation folks. The BIG one is four years away. But this was a big deal for her. So? Dress, shoes, accessories. But then I went there. I counted 5 stretched limos. FIVE. These are 14 year olds we are talking about. Thankfully my Niece did not want one.

I feel wonderful about my upcoming experience in watching Joshua grow. I have all these things to look forward to. I’m not complaining, but I NOW understand. To all the people out there that are waiting until you are ready, financially, mentally, and emotionally, I repeat these words that were so often told to me..

“If you wait until you are ready, until you can afford it, you will never do it.”

Elusion of True Reform,

Hey folks,

The Senate passed, and praised each other for passing, a "hard immigration reform Bill". They see this as countering the House bill, that they feel was excessively strict. They say, and as the main stream media loves to point out, that this is a more compassionate, but very strict reform. It is not in anyway a free ride for those that break our laws. It is a serious reform to fix a serious problem.

Are you kidding me? Now I’ve been talking about how I do not want mass deportation. I do not want these people to be charged with felonies, just because they are trying to make a better life for themselves and their families. I thought that the House Bill had potential. Then the Senate, Lead by Senators Ted Kenney and John McCain passes this one.

So what is the difference? Why is it evident that these people have lost their minds? Just look at the Bill. First folks, you put McCain and Kennedy in agreement, and you know there is something wrong. But this Bill claims to be hard on boarder security, the thing that most Americans, regardless of political affiliation, agree is the main problem, yet a last minute amendment proves this to be false as well.

You see folks, they do not want to stem the tide of Illegals. Why? Cheap labor, increase in the size of government to "help" these people, and new voters. This is not an immigration reform Bill. Make no mistake about it.

Let’s see. This Bill allows Illegals to stay in the country and earn a path to citizenship. Absolves them from the legality of identity theft. Forces Illegals to only pay up to three years of back taxes, no matter how long they were here. Here is the big one. The reason this will never pass the House no matter how much pressure is put on them by the White House, which has already started by the way, is that this Bill requires the US Government to consult with the Mexican Government PRIOR to building "the fence". Do not look for any fence, any time soon.

Another point of interest about all this is who voted Yea, and Nay. Interesting to see that those that are up for re-election voted Nay. Those who have the security of 2-6 more years voted Yea.. This should be proof to anyone with any kind of intelligence, that the Senators KNOW they are doing the wrong thing. They spend all this time and debate, ELUDING true reform. It is an illusion folks. They want you to think that they are doing what most of you want. Yet in turn, they are actually doing the opposite. They feel they are in a win / win situation.

It’s like this, if the Bill goes to the house and fails, which it will, they will say something like,

"Hey, we did the right thing. We created and passed a Bill the would be a step in the right direction. Look at how all the mass media has told you how wonderful our version of this Bill was. It was not our fault that this Bill did not become law. It was the House the failed this. It was the ‘racist’‘nationalist’ Right Wing Radicles that destroyed what we worked so hard on. Election is coming. Vote us in the House and we guarantee this Bill will become law."

Or, let’s just say for a second, that it DOES make it passed the House. It becomes law. No need to do anything more about it. No reason for the Media to report on it. The issue will go away. No fence will be built. Nothing will be done to enforce boarder security other than show stuff, and they will be praised for creating this "Law".

Do they really think we are this stupid? Do they really think we will forget those that voted this lame duck Bill in? This in essence puts Illegal Immigrates, before those doing the right thing (legal Immigrates), above the law, and above actual American born citizens.

I dare ANY of you to go to the IRS and say, I’m not paying taxes for five years, but I’m only paying back three. Or say to a District Attorney, yeah, I committed Identity Theft, so what, just give me another Social Security number. Oh, and while you are at it, I want to collect on SS Benefits. See what happens to you.

These politicians really are so far out of touch, they cannot even see the people that put them in office. They are not fooling anyone with this Bill. Well, at least not anyone who does not CHOOSE to be fooled. I am almost willing to guarantee that this is nothing more than a dead Bill. Should be interesting to watch though.

House Votes on Drilling,

Hey folks,

That’s right. The House voted on Thursday to open an Alaska wildlife refuge to oil drilling. The vote was 225-201.

They say the reason is the public outcry over the three dollar a gallon price of gas. This move is said to create another some 11 billion gallons of crude oil.

Is this good news? Is this new? No. Sorry to bust your bubble of hope, but this would make about the sixth time. Every time this is tried by the House, it is blocked in the Senate because of the environmental wacko extremists.

You know folks, this is really pretty stupid. We are in this position because of the environmental extremists to begin with. No new refineries in 30 years. No drilling. No nuclear power, etc. It is the extremists, and those that pander to them, that created the monopoly that Big Oil has.

The call of theirs, actually is the same as mine in part, create and produce more AFVs [Alterative fuel Vehicles] , and Afs [Alterative fuels] themselves. But, here’s where we separate the logic and intelligence, from the radical wackiness.

"We cannot drill in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge because we might upset the caribou." " The only answer to the high gas is Afs and to force the big bad oil companies to stop gouging." "You cannot put man over animals. We are no better than the poor helpless Polar bear."

OK, first, We are talking an area of 1.5 million acres. We are talking about a minute part of that for the drilling. Second, the investigation has concluded that there was NO price gouging, and the fact still remains, Big Oil has NOTHING to do with the pricing. The biggest "gouger" in this is the government through taxes. Third, I’m sorry, but MANKIND does come first.

I say we pass this and start weaning our dependants from foreign oil. Meanwhile, we continue to create, modify, and prefect, AFVs and Afs themselves. The faster we do this, the better off we will be. The happier the poor little caribou will be too.

Graduation,

Sorry no new stuff today folks. I had a graduation to go to. I was very proud of my Niece. She graduated from middle school today. She was Beautiful. However, while I was there, as observant as I am, I noticed some things that REALLY got my attention. I know there is an article in all this. I write it soon.

I’ll see you tomorrow as we go into the weekend together.

Be safe, well, and all around happy. Life is too short. Time flies by too fast. I remember holding my Niece as a baby, today, I saw her as a young woman. I can’t wait until her High School graduation. Then I will really feel old.

The Day Draws Closer,

Hey folks,

I’ve been talking about the very real possibility fo us, lead by President Bush’s cowboy attitude, to go into Iran. I’ve have said that we need to give this one SERIOUS thought. Iran is not Iraq. The problem with Iran is, it is NOT a guy in the desert with a sling shot. It is a very powerful country, with very powerful friends. Russia and China will NEVER be on our side in a military conflict in Iran. They have way too much invested. They have even told us this outright.

Today, Wednesday the 24th of May, will be the day that we all go to London to discuss a package of incentives and threats drafted by European countries aimed at defusing a crisis over Iran's nuclear program. Will this solve anything?

Iran's President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has made it clear that Iran has full rights to it nuclear program, and that it is for civilian power generation. We not only think, but KNOW that this is not true. They are attempting to create an atomic bomb.

At the same time they say they are using this technology for power, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is making threats to "Wipe Israel off the face of the world." He tries to "make nice" or in truth, tried to fool us with a letter he sent to President Bush. The Liberal mass media ate this up. "Oh he’s not such a bad guy. Look, this must at least be an attempt to negociate." Wrong.

While he sends the letter, he talks about Iranian enemies and no one will prevail against him. As he talks about religion, God, and Jesus, {in the letter} he institutes laws requiring citizens to wear insignias indicating what religion they belong to. Sound familiar? Folks there is only one reason for this. You know what that is. This is NOT a nice guy. Actually, the guy is just plain nuts. But we HAVE to be careful.

Now back to this meeting. Sergei Kiryenko, the head of Russia's atomic energy agency, said, "I hope that this proposal would be a major breakthrough in this issue."

President Bush says, "Obviously we'd like to solve this issue peacefully and diplomatically, and the more the Iranians refuse to negotiate in good faith the more countries are beginning to realize that we must continue to work together."

Iran? President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad says "The enemies who could not stop the Iranian nation of reaching nuclear technology by means of political pressure, conspiracies and using the tool of international organizations are now plotting against us"

So is this more of the "show" of seeking diplomatic solutions? You remember leading up to Iraq, it seemed more of a "show". An appearance of seeking cooperation by president Bush KNOWING full well he was going in anyway. Is this more of the same?

Do not get me wrong. The comparisons between President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and Hitler are indeed both creepy and scary. He DOES need to go. All I’m saying is this is NOT Iraq. This is a difficult situation with some very difficult possibilities. We need to be careful. If we go into Iran in a cowboy fashion, solo, and with a big bad attitude, we may be the ones who face Shock and Awe. I’m telling you folks, Russia, and China will NOT sit back and watch in this one. We must be careful.

Involved, Or Coincidence?

Hey Folks,

I remember hearing this story yesterday. I remember my first thought was, "You cannot tell me the employee was NOT involved". Lets look at this a little more closely.

The story goes like this. A mid level data analyst had taken sensitive personal information on 26.5 million U.S. veterans, including Social Security numbers and birth dates, home to their privet residence. The reason? The information was on their laptop because they were working on a department project. Then, for whatever reason, and by coincidence, their home just happened to be robbed. This happened in suburban Maryland folks.

The information involved mainly, but not exclusively, those veterans who served and have been discharged since 1975, according to VA Secretary Jim Nicholson. But data of veterans discharged before 1975 who submitted claims to the agency may have been included. Also there may be a possibility that some information on the veterans' disabilities may have been taken.

Now of course the damage control has started. Calls for tighter security have begun.

Nicholson said "It's highly probable that they do not know what they have" and he added "We have decided that we must exercise an abundance of caution and make sure our veterans are aware of this incident."

Well they do now Mr. Nicholson. I heard it for two days. You’ve been on the news telling everyone. Instead of exercising an "abundance of caution" AFTER the data was lost, would it not make more sense to do this BEFORE. You know, to make sure that it NEVER happened?

Bob Wallace, executive director of Veterans of Foreign Wars, and Ramona Joyce, spokeswoman for the American Legion, echo this sentiment. They are both calling for the VA to be held accountable.

Mr Wallace said, "This was a very serious breach of security for American veterans and their families." He added, "We want the VA to show leadership, management and accountability for this breach."

What breach Mr. Wallace? Did this employee have permission to take this information home since they were working on a "department project?". If the employee did, then there is no breach. Just stupidity.

Mrs Joyce said, "In the information age, we're constantly told to protect our information. We would ask no less of the VA,"

This is true. But no one is questioning the VA’s computer security. The employee took the information home.

Now I admit, the first thing I thought of was "Am I the only one that sees this as a little odd?" Maybe a little bit to coincidental. According to the FBI however, the residential community had been a target of a series of burglaries. They say they do not believe the employee was involved.

The politicians are jumping on this as well. They want the problem fixed. Senator Kerry is calling for someone to be fired. You think?

I’m sorry folks. The coincidence is just a little to much for me to take. This employee not only needs a more thorough investigation, but without a doubt needs to be fired.

Mexico No, America You BETTER,

Hey folks,

Start of a new week. Back to the grind, as they say. I came across this and though it was interesting. With all this talk about ILLEGAL-immigration lately, and with all this talk about Mexico telling us they will sue us in our own courts, you may find it interesting that YOU cannot work most jobs in Mexico, EVEN if you are a citizen.

The government is reserved for citizen only. Unlike the US, where it is only the office of the President and Vice President, All government job in Mexico are reserved for NATIVE born citizens only.

Mexico, out of fear or mistrust, have said no foreign born citizens. We say we want to enforce our boarders, they say they want to sue us. Interesting isn’t it folks. They KNOW who their allies are. So do you. They Liberal left looney and the mass main stream media.

They want you to think that the policies that would protect our boarders and limit and deal with the illegal immigrant issue are discriminatory in nature. They want you to believe that if you object to allowing anyone who wants to come to this country illegally, and be awarded citizenship, you are racist, and wrong. Yet go to Mexico and try to get a job there.

According to the AP,

"The foreign-born make up just 0.5 percent of Mexico's 105 million people, compared with about 13 percent in the United States, which has a total population of 299 million. Mexico grants citizenship to about 3,000 people a year, compared to the U.S. average of almost a half million."

I agree with J. Michael Waller, of the Center for Security Policy in Washington,

"If American policy-makers are looking for legal models on which to base new laws restricting immigration and expelling foreign lawbreakers, they have a handy guide: the Mexican constitution,"

It is simple folks, this concept that we, the USA, are going to be dictated to by a foreign government on how we create laws, enforce, and protect our boarders, is just plain idiotic.

IWA May21st, 2006

Hey folks,

It's Sunday, time for the lighter side on the OPN. Do not forget to check out the article below. I’ll admit that this one is not my favorite, but he does deserve the IWA,

The IWA goes to Dowling Catholic High School Athletic Director Steve Shanks. He was asked to resign after controversial private emails he wrote in February critical of a Des Moines priest and the Maroon girls' basketball team became known.

Shanks wrote in the emails,

"Actually, I'm done with religion,"and "Mass at Holy Trinity lasted 1:40 minutes . . . long-ass singing and long-ass homily by some Italian mafioso priest . . . ridiculous."

About the Maroon girls basketball team?

"always make their own (expletive)-up non-school color T-shirts for state for players and families . . . will be in competition with my shirts . . . idiots."

Apparently according to Jerry Deegan, Dowling President,

"The e-mail was intended to find out if the coach had a picture of the boys' team in case the team made it to the state tournament," However, "Steve didn't know the other emails were at the bottom of the email."

Ok first Mr. Shanks, NO email is privet when you are using your WORK computer. Second, to put ANYTHING in writing criticizing your employer, the "business" (religion) that pays you, and showing a general lack of interest in continuing to be there, may be legal, may be your right, but not wise.

Congratulations Mr Shanks, you are the Idiot of the Week...

Plagiocephaly

Hey folks,

I want to take a second to set aside politics, the news of the day, and the normal stuff I talk about. I want to share with you my story. Whatever you may think of me politically, or even personally, please hear what I’m about to tell you. You have NO idea how hard this is for me to share. How hard this has been, and continues to be, for me to go through. I know A LOT of it is simply pride and ego. I know that in the long run, it will work out.

My boy, Joshua, the love of my life, has always been a source of great pride. The fact he is so cute, advanced in his intellect (Documented), and just a source of joy that is undescribable, I walk around with him with my chest puffed out with pride. I love when we go somewhere, anywhere, and we are bombarded with strangers coming up to us and talking with us about how great he is. Then the medical condition became worse.

You see folks, Joshua was diagnosed with Torticollis which lead to Plagiocephaly. Because of this, he needs a helmet to be worn 23 hours a day for the next three to four months. As a proud and somewhat egotistical Father, I found and still find this hard to deal with. Now in the back of my mind, I, yes the one who couldn’t care less what people think about him on a normal bases, find myself upset and concerned what people are thinking when they see the helmet.

My pride was not the only problem. Our insurance company REFUSES to cover the cost of the helmet and treatments. They declare this to be cosmetic, therefore will have nothing to do with it. So myself and Laura are left to foot the bill. $250.00 every two weeks. The cost of the helmet? $2000.00. Along with any further and additional medical costs.

I’ll even admit to you, that I found myself guilty of this condition. I blamed myself and my wife for Joshua’s "Flat Head Syndrom". This all changed however, Friday 19th of May 2006, at 10:30am. My wife Laura found this web site. http://www.plagiocephaly.org/ On this site, it talks about the fact that this is increasingly common, and a growing problem In the Leda Quirke piece, she said,

"Since the American Association of Pediatrics formally recommended in 1992 that babies sleep on their backs, the incidence of plagiocephaly has increased significantly. Records indicate that positional molding in back-sleeping babies is one in 10."

Then I started looking into this further. According to the Journal Sentinel Online March 14th 2001,

"When parents tread the never-ending road of "what's best for baby," they're met by all kinds of advice - some good, some not so good, and some a little incomplete. Since 1992, the American Academy of Pediatrics has advised parents to lay babies on their backs, keeping them safer from Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). That advice has proven itself, as SIDS statistics have fallen substantially. But since the campaign began, problems of torticollis (a tightening of the muscles in a baby's neck) and plagiocephaly (abnormal head shape) have been on the rise.

Torticollis, commonly called wryneck, is a condition that can begin before birth from an unusual in utero position or when a baby is born prematurely. It occurs when the "strap" muscles in an infant's neck - which run roughly from beneath the ears to the nape of the neck - tighten up, causing a baby's head to tilt either to the right or left. It's a stressful, uncomfortable and sometimes painful situation for a baby. Many instances of torticollis lead to plagiocephaly. About 85 percent of babies with plagiocephaly also have torticollis. To avoid these problems, parents are urged to let their babies spend awake time on their stomachs, strengthening neck, back, arm and upper body muscles in the process."

Another good source of information on Torticollis is http://www.infant-torticollis.org/ .

As a matter of fact, as I write this, I’m also looking up sites. There are many that are helpful for understanding this medical condition. Feel free to check some of them out. Some of the stories will move you. They did me.

As I found, this is not just some occasional occurrence. This is an on going problem. A serious one at that, that NEEDS to be address. This is a cause I will be hitting head on and hard. So I ask you, if you do not check any other link out here, PLEASE check out,

Amanda’s Law, http://www.plagiocephaly.org/alerts/FLSB0482.htm

Myself and Laura are fortunate enough to find a way to come up with the added and unexpected cost of the helmet and $250.00 every two weeks. We are scraping by, but we will do it. But what about the single parents? What about those that live paycheck to pay check, penny to penny? That’s $500.00 a month folks. I know people that pay that in rent. Where do they get this money from? Their insurance will not cover it. So, do they do nothing? Do they watch their child grow and wait for the conversation that WILL come, "Mommy / Daddy, why did you not love me enough to fix my head when you could?" After a year, the only fix is surgery.

This is a cause that I will be taking on. This is a problem that needs to be dealt with. The insurance companies NEED to pay for this. I thank David A. and Pamela A. Schultz, along with Senator Larcenia J. Bullard (D) District 39, and Representative Edward B. "Ed" Bullard (D) District 118. I join with Mr. And Mrs. Schultz in their plea,

In addition, we suggest that you forward the information that we have provided onto your own state and federal legislators for their future consideration for legislation in your state. We are also attempting to successfully obtain U.S. Federal Legislation to address these same issues for "all U.S. States as well as Military Insurance Providers" which are not currently covered as well. Pam and I and more importantly "your children" need your help and support by taking 5 minutes to call, email, fax, and write these elected officials listed above today. Don't wait. We can not do this alone. We are up against the insurance lobbies and their well financed organizations. More importantly, I'm only asking for your time to show your overwhelming support for our efforts for your children and the future children that will be plague with these structural disorders.

Our wish is yet a simple one for you and your children. That is, that parents and their children will not have to be burden with medical health insurance inexcusable procedural company delays, lengthy insurance company appeals, lengthy insurance company boards of review for approval, and insurance coverage written policy interpretations as: "cosmetic", "experimental", or "not medically necessary" when children meet the craniofacial anthropometric guidelines for cranial orthotic treatment prescribed by a licensed physician specializing in craniofacial and pediatric plastic surgery.

The conservative treatment and use of cranial orthotic bands is widely accepted and approved by the medical community to include the following organizations: the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), the Academy of Orthotists and Prosthetists (AAOP), and the American Cleft-Craniofacial Association (ACPA), American Association of Plastic Surgeons (AAPS), and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgeons (ASMS). Moreover since July 30, 1998, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) under the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) has recognized, approved, and supported the medical use of cranial orthotic bands that have been medically licensed for use under strict FDA guidelines and treatment protocols.

Again, please support our efforts to get the medical treatment that your children need and must have for any attempt for a normal structurally balanced life. We appreciate your continued help in supporting this legislation in our State of Florida which will hopefully lead to U.S. legislation coverage for all states and military families alike."

I will be putting new pictures of Joshua up at http://s41.photobucket.com/albums/e257/joshuacarlock/ soon. Complete with helmet and all. It’s time for me to get over the pride thing, and fight this fight. For those Dad’s out there that may be feeling the same way. Please understand. This is not your fault. Your child is no less then they were before, and if someone asks why the helmet, take the time to educate them. You never know who may be asking.

I thank you all for your time and consideration. Not to mention, letting me share.

Gen. Michael Hayden, Who’s Lying?

Hey folks,

As predicted, Gen. Michael Hayden spend most of the day yesterday, in a seven-hour confirmation hearing before the Senate Intelligence Committee, answering questions about the Presidents "spying" program, and the NSA. Very little did he get asked how he would handle the job of the CIA.

It was amazing. Senator after Senator asked the "hard" questions. To bad, most of the ones coming from our friends on the Left, were absolute lies. It really was sad. REALLY sad. Some Republicans even asked questions, they already knew the answers to.

Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden, gave Gen. Hayden the hardest time. He said,

"General, having evaluated your words, I now have a difficult time with your credibility,"

"So with all due respect, general, I can't tell now if you've simply said one thing and done another, or whether you have just parsed your words like a lawyer to intentionally mislead the public."

What was his main beef? The same as one Republican, Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe. They feel that Congress had not been sufficiently briefed about the program. Sen Snowe said

"I happen to believe that, with the programs in question, that the Congress was really never really consulted or informed," and, "I happen to believe that, with the programs in question, that the Congress was really never really consulted or informed,"

The mass media wants you to believe this as well. They state that this "super secret" program, which was secret until it was leaked to the media in December 2005, was not told to anyone until Wednesday. They want you to believe that no one was briefed about this program. But notice the wording. You will see the "WHOLE" committee. But individual Senators WERE briefed between 4-12 times EACH. Including, Pelosi, Wyden, Kennedy, etc. Now they say that the Administration, did not brief the "WHOLE" committee. Well folks, if there were a group of people, say 6, I tell each one the same thing. The entire group of 6, have been told. But they get around the facts with semantics. No one sat down with all of them together,,you get the point.

Then, what I love the most? Democratic Senators QUOTING a debunked "USATODAY" story of phone companies turning over records. I love this. You wonder why some are no all that concerned about the upcoming elections? We have Senators, quoting mass media. Incorrect or completely MADE UP stories at that. But the truth doesn’t really matter, as long as you can get someone to believe. Right Senators?{Smile}

Echelon?

Hey folks,

You know I’ve been pointing out the reality of Echelon, before it became, and is slowly becoming
news. VERY slowly. Why?

Everyone is making a big deal over the Administration’s "Warrant less wire tapping" of the American people. Some Senators, on both sides, want you to believe that every time you pick up the phone, "Big Brother" might be listing in. This makes no sense what so ever and is merely politics at it’s best.

The Echelon program, http://fly.hiwaay.net/~pspoole/echelon.html , has been in existence, and still is, for years. It reached it pinnacle during the Clinton administration. As a matter of fact, a lot of these Senators that are NOW against the "concept" of phone companies, turning over people’s phone records to the Bush Administration, voted into law the Phone companies OBLIGATION to do just that, in response to President Clinton signing it into law.

Now with each day that passes, it turns out that certain stories, that some up and ran with, may be false. Phone companies that were reported to be forced to turn over the records, and this is what we are talking about, not actually listening in, are saying that they were never asked, forced to, or in any way did, give their customers phone records over to the Government. How do some counter this fact? I love this. One story I heard is

"AT&T has a technician who has reported that he observed splitting equipment being installed on the West Coast which could split the communications in half, making a duplicate copy. So please, don't jump to premature conclusions that the USA Today article was all erroneous."

Who is he? What is his name? Is he or was he employed there when He made the statement? Does he, meaning we, have proof of this? The story went from all the phone companies, except one, turned over records to the Government to "SPY" on you, to one guy that may or may not exist, that may or may not have seen some equipment.

Today is the day folks, today is the day it begins. U.S. President George W. Bush's nominee for CIA director, Gen. Michael Hayden, faces a grilling today over the administration's "domestic spying program" that has raised all this "to do". I’m sure that he will be hammered by questions at a Senate confirmation hearing about his role as architect of Bush's "domestic spying program", you know, one of the measures to protect us after the September 11 attacks.

But what is funny is, they are COOPERATING.

Maine Sen. Olympia Snowe, said, "It's an ongoing process. They're obviously pretty forthcoming, we just have to learn more about it." there are some though, like Michigan Democratic Sen. Carl Levin who said that they have some "40 or 50" questions about the program that had yet to be answered.

Make no mistake about it. This is not going to be about the CIA. This is going to be another Bush attack. This will be used to try to scare more of the public into thinking that there is a little person on the other end of their phone conversations. Listening with bated breath.

Do you think he will be confirmed? Well, it all depends on how he answers the barrage of questions that will be thrown at him on this one topic. I hope he, and he should, ask THEM about their role in Echelon. A far more intrusive program than getting some phone records.

The New York Times

Hey folks,

I have an honest question. Why does ANYONE read this paper? OK, I know, I already know the answer. The Left read it because it is their paper. Custom written for them. The NYT furthers the liberal agenda like noone else. The Right read it because, let’s face it, it is an easy example of the liberal media.

What I love about it, is they, the NYT themselves, truly want all of us to believe they are a non-bias, independent news outlet. They make sure that they tell their employee’s what they expect. You are going to love this. Taken directly from their "ethics" rules and regulations.

And second, no one may do anything that damages our news staffs' reputation for strict neutrality in reporting on politics and government; in particular, no one may wear campaign buttons or display any other form of political partisanship while on the job.

And on "Voting, Campaigns and Public Issues"

89. Journalists do not take part in politics. While staff members are entitled to vote and to register in party primaries, they must do nothing that might raise questions about their professional neutrality or that of our news operations. In particular, they may not campaign for, demonstrate for, or endorse candidates, ballot causes or efforts to enact legislation. They may not wear campaign buttons or themselves display any other insignia of partisan politics.

90. Staff members may not themselves give money to any political candidate or election cause or raise money for one. Given the ease of Internet access to public records of campaign contributions, any political giving by a staff member would risk feeding a false impression that we are taking sides.

91. No staff member may seek public office anywhere. Seeking or serving in public office violates the professional detachment expected of a journalist. Active participation by one of our staff can sow a suspicion of favoritism in political coverage.

92. Staff members may not march or rally in support of public causes or movements or sign advertisements or petitions taking a position on public issues. They may not lend their names to campaigns, benefit dinners or similar events if doing so might reasonably raise doubts about their ability or their newsroom's ability to remain neutral in covering the news. Neighbors and other outsiders commonly see us as representatives of our institution.

93. Staff members may appear from time to time on local or national radio and television programs devoted to public affairs, but they should avoid expressing views that go beyond the news and analysis that could properly appear under their regular bylines. Op-Ed columnists and editorial writers enjoy more leeway than others in speaking publicly, because their business is expressing opinions. They should nevertheless choose carefully the forums in which they appear and protect the impartiality of our journalism.

94. A staff member with doubts about a proposed political activity should consult a responsible manager. These guidelines protect the heart of our mission as journalists. Where the conflict with our impartiality seems minimal, top news executives may consider matters case by case, but they should be exceedingly cautious before permitting an exception.

Should be interesting to see if they follow this ethics policy, especially since there is only 174 days to go until election time.

Now I was going to dissect this paragraph by paragraph to point out the hypocrisies of them violating their own ethics policy on a daily bases. But, it is pretty self explanatory. If you do not believe me this is real, or you think I’m making this up, check it out.

http://www.nytco.com/company-journalism-ethics.html

Then my other problem with the NYT is the simplest of all journalism number one rule. Seek out, uncover, and report, TRUTH. This is something that they fail to do often. Just check out their "Correction" section. Either in print or on line. Just today alone on line there are seven corrections. One I love. The error also occurred in three previous articles going back to 1989.

Does not reporting the facts, mean you research and make sure that what you are reporting ARE the facts? I’m not just talking about mis-spelling a name. There has been story after story recently that have been proven COMPLETELY false. Made up even.

I have no problem with tabloids. They do not pretend to be something they are not. Even THEY get something right from time to time. But they claim to be, and are, entertainment. They do not pretend to be hard core mainstream impartial news. If the NYT just began to be honest, saying we are a vehicle to further the liberal agenda, a voice of those on the fringe, and a politically motivated information source, I would have no problem with them either. Although, they may still want to check some facts.

Sustenance or Appeasement?

Hey folks,

Well, the big news today, of course, is President Bush’s speech. As you would expect, this is the big news on all news outlets, including both Left and Right "leaning" blogs. But did it really contain substance, or did he say the things he did for appeasement?

Some on the Left are loving his speech. They are saying that for the first time, he is attempting to at least act, bipartisan. They say he is reaching out and is trying to meet some on the left mid way.

The Right are raving that he is LISTENING to the voice of the Conservatives, because it is the Conservatives that have been calling for the boarders to be secure. In the speech the President did mention securing the boarders. He spoke of thousands of National Guards being put on the boarders. There is talk of a 700 mile double sided fence. The Right, and even some on the Left LOVE this idea. I’ve been calling for the boarder to be secured, before dealing with those already here, for some time now. Could I "believe" that the President said he was going to do this BECAUSE I’ve been calling for it? Yes. I could believe that. But I do not. He said it because he HAD to. Do I truly think he wants to have this succeed? I do not believe he really does. Here in lies the problem.

Many Republicans are VERY dis-pleased because President Bush AGAIN pushed his Amnesty program. Of course we are not allowed to call this what it is. I’m and many that think as I, am completely against this. To me, and many of you, this sounds an awful lot like awarding those that have,

1- Broken our laws.
2- Disrespected our countrie's beliefs
3- According to this plan, those that have broken our laws the LONGEST, get rewarded the most.
4- Those that have been broken our laws and disrespected the very way of life they CLAIM to want, get’s to become citizens long BEFORE those that have paid money, waited years, and have been going through the process.

Now I’ve said many times, that I do not want, and there is NOONE calling for, mass deportation. I have even gone so far to say I do not want them charged with felonies. So where does that leave us?

After listening to some on the Left, Right, and the Presidents speech last night, I have come up with this. We HAVE to secure our boarders. We have to ENFORCE the laws we have now. We HAVE, like it or not, and I DON’T, supply a path to citizenship, for those already here. I say, document them, get them in the process, BEHIND those already in the process, if they do not complete it, THEN they leave. But our boarders are first.

Look, to my Conservative, and those on the far Right Radicle periphery, friends, I do not like this plan anymore than you do. Not to mention, if they do not take out the provision that allows some 80 million more, making it both JUST for those here ALREADY, and limit those further Illegals, we will merely be ENCOURAGING further Illegals to come here illegally. But since I do not believe in mass deportation, or jail, the President, somewhat, made me a partial believer.

Did the speech have sustenance and work ability? Was it just to appease the ever growing movement from average Americans, regardless of political affiliation, that demand something be done with this MAJOR security issue? Time will only tell.

"The Carlock Theory of the Psychological Breakdown of the Stars."

Hey folks,

There are so many questions out there as to why so many stars seem to be losing their minds. What is behind people like Alec Baldwin, Barbra Streisand, Richard Dreyfus, Martin Sheen, and others, seemingly breaking down their mental capacities, only to publically make an ass out of themselves. I have the answer. Yes, me. Your voice of simplification in the complicated world in which we live. Your voice of intelligence and logic in the insanity that surrounds us on a daily bases.

For just $19.95, I will send you the answer. I will send you "The Carlock Theory of the Psychological Breakdown of the Stars." This IS the answer. An answer so profound that everyone NEEDS to have it. It will enlighten you, educate you, and put your mind to rest. You will never again sit back in your chair and shake your head, wondering what is going on. $19.95 is NOTHING compared to the piece of mind you will receive. However, for those of you who are OPN exclusive members, I will give it to you for FREE. That’s right. Being an OPNer grants you total access to these little nuggets of truth and revelation everyday. But you already know this. So here you go,

"The Carlock Theory of the Psychological Breakdown of the Stars."

The answer is so simple folks, it merely takes someone like me, your gateway to the truth, to point it out for you. There are many facets of this "break down", so I’ll try to make it simple. It goes like this,,

First, they do NOT live in reality. They spend almost all of their lives in the land of make believe. In their world, you do not need a college degree to be a lawyer, doctor, or scientist. You do not need to have years of experience to be an expert. You do not even need to win an election to be President. I know, some say you do not have to in real life either, but that it beside the point. You do not even need to be able to spell, to sing a song. This is the "reality" that they live in.

Second is the "F" factor. Fame. They are constantly surrounded by those that are there for their beckoning call. "Yes Mr. Clooney, I’ll give you only the green M&Ms." "Yes Ms. Streisand, I’ll get you brand x water." They constantly are surrounded by those that what to be associated with them. These want to share the spotlight. These are they the agree with ANYTHING that the stars say. These are the "Yes People". Of course you also have the "M" factor added into this as well.

The "M" factor. They get paid a ridiculous amounts of money to pretend. To make believe. I still find this whole concept that our teachers in this country, that hold our future in their hands, can’t pay for the supplies they need to teach, while someone is getting paid $20 million to play with bat poop, disturbing. But they do. These stars get paid so much that they have the "NEEDED" ability to shield themselves from the rest of us. They go and make believe, then go back and live in their castles, far away from the commoners.

These stars have no real concept of the reality, that this is merely their job. Just like the man who gets up in the morning, puts his pants on one leg at a time, and goes out to throw your and mine trash into the back of a big truck, they get up the same way. They go to work. His work is being a "Sanitation Specialist" their job is being an entertainer. But because of the reason I’ve already mentioned, they do not see it like this.

They see themselves as extremely important. Why not? They are treated like little gods all day every day. So they get this apotheosis that they are little gods. Maybe not in these exact terms, but at least as important. It’s not their fault. It’s long term inadvertent conditioning.

So now, when an important topic comes up, and they, or are told they should, have strong feelings about it, they voice their opinion. They TRULY believe, and are told, that people care about what they have to say. But this is the problem. This is where make believe meets reality.

They come out, write letters, make speeches, do interviews, and their normal "Yes People" are standing by. The press eats this stuff up. But in reality, the garbage man does not care what the star says. To the average Joe, and most with intelligence, all we hear from the star is an idiotic rambling of someone who has no clue.

We see this as the figure we think we know, form their work, losing their minds. But the truth is, they truly believe they are as important as they think, and that we care what they say. So try not to be too hard on them. It’s not their fault.

Now for the rest of you that are not OPNers, send me the $19.95, and I’ll send you EXACTLY what I just said.. Now that I have cleared your mind of any concern for these poor souls, you can go on with life and just understand, stars need love too.

IWA May 14th 2006

Hey folks,

First I want to apologize to the regulars. Those that check out the OPN every day. I was planing on posting three new articles yesterday. I got to one. My obligations elsewhere and life in general sometimes interrupts. I’ll try to let you know in advance when I will be off "line" so you will not be dis-appointed {Smile}

I’m going to save the NYT article for next week. It’s SUNDAY... The lighter side of the OPN. Being Sunday, it’s time for the IWA,, No doubt about this one.

The IWA goes to???? Laura Lee Medley. It’s people like her, that NEED to go to jail. People like her, hurt truly disabled people, clog up our court systems making it harder for people who actually NEED justice, and just plain make me, and should you, sick.

Laura Lee Medley, who is 35, claimed to be paralyzed from a drunk driving accident. Then she attempted to make a living suing at least four California cities over injuries she claimed she sustained while trying to navigate her wheelchair due to their "non-compliance" of the law.

She attempted to do the same when she was arrested for fraud. She complained of medical conditions that prompted Police to take her to the Hospital. It was there that she was "HEALED!" she got up and ran..

She was caught and brought to jail. According to Long Beach prosecutor Belinda Mayes, Medley was apprehended by police and booked pending extradition to San Bernardino, southern California, where she is facing charges of filing false documents, attempted grand theft and insurance fraud. Medley has sued the cities of Long Beach and South Pasadena and counties of San Bernardino and Riverside. She was also being sought on arrest warrants by the states of Oregon and Washington.

Congratulations to you Medley. You are without a doubt, the idiot of the week.

Are YOU contributing to NAMBLA?

Hey folks,

I’ll try to make sense of this. Basically you can sum it up as this. Your money IS, not could be, but IS going to groups like Nambla, Mexican American Legal Defense & Education Fund (MALDEF) Cindy Sheehan's Code Pink, the Alliance for Justice, the NAACP, Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition, Al Sharpton's National Action Network, NARAL, Planned Parenthood, NOW, the radical homosexual Human Rights Campaign, ACT-UP, Americans United for the Separation of Church and State, the AFL-CIO, the NEA, the Sierra Club, PETA, the ACLU, Handgun Control, MoveOn.org, the Academy of Trial Lawyers, and the Socialist Workers' Party.

"I would never give money to one of THOSE groups?" "I am an intelligent person. I have morals. I would NEVER associate myself with any of them." I can hear you. But you ARE. How? Do you contribute to "People for the American Way" (PFAW)? Do you read "Playboy"? How about this, do you buy the New York Times? If you do, some of your money IS going to PFAW. This is now an umbrella group that includes all these other groups. Hollywood producer Norman Lear founded PFAW and actor Alec Baldwin now sits on the PFAW Board of Directors. PFAW's Ultra liberal donors include Barbra Streisand, The New York Times, and Playboy Enterprises.

You see folks, this is WHY I AM your voice of simplification in a complicated world, and your voice of intelligence in the insanity that surrounds us. This is WHY I speak the truth to you. I’ve known about this group and who they REALLY are for some time, but for the most part, I let them ramble on with their nuttiness, and go on with life. Just the fact that Alec Baldwin now sits on the PFAW Board of Directors, should be enough for anyone with a minuscule intelligence to dismiss this organization. But they, lead by their leader, Ralph Neas, have targeted Vernon Robinson, who is running against ultra-liberal personal injury lawyer Brad Miller, for the North Carolina's 13th Congressional District. This got my attention.

Congressman Miller has a voting history of the insane, ultra, Leftist Looneys. It includes, supporting open borders, amnesty for illegal aliens, homosexual marriage, flag burning, higher taxes, extreme gun control, taxpayer financed partial birth abortion, taking "under God" out of the Pledge of Allegiance.

According to the Federal Election Commission, most of Congressman Miller's campaign money comes in the form of $5,000 checks from the lobbyists and the special interest groups. Congressman Miller has raked in more than half a million dollars from the scandal-ridden union bosses alone. That doesn't include the quarter million dollars Congressman Miller got from the trial lawyers. Nor does it include the hundred grand given to Miller by the Left's disgraced Congressman Barney Frank, Congressional Black Caucus Chairman Melvin Watt, the radical homosexual Human Rights Campaign, NOW, the Lesbian & Gay Pride PAC, NARAL, et cetera.

Vernon Robinson, in his own words,

"I am the President of a nonprofit organization called the Carolina Education Opportunity Fund which provides scholarships to private schools for 250 children from low-income homes who would otherwise be sentenced to attend the pre-prison, pre-welfare, training grounds otherwise known as inner-city public schools. After graduating from the Air Force Academy and taking my MBA in Quantitative Methods, I served as an Intelligence Officer and Missile Combat Crew Commander for thirteen years. Needless to say, I didn't amass any personal wealth when I was a military officer or when I was a college business professor at a public university for ten years or when I was appointed to a position in the administration of President George H.W. Bush or when I served as Winston-Salem City Councilman for eight years. As for my wife, she works as a librarian at the public library. We now have three children, two of whom we adopted. Simply put, we are people of modest means because I've dedicated my life to public service ever since I was an Eagle Scout."

So why is Ralph Neas and PFAW going after him? Because he is "evil." He is unabashedly conservative and now the Republican Party's only black nominee for Congress in a competitive district that's been targeted by both parties as one of the contests that will decide whether the Democrats win a majority of House seats this November. He will not play the insanity game. But at the same time, with winning the primary, a three way race, with 63% of the votes, he is a sure thing.

This shows that Congressman Miller and Neas are both so far out of touch with the majority of 13th District voters. They cannot possibly defend Miller’s voting record while he is running for re-election in a red state, whose voters expect their Congressman to cast votes that reflect North Carolina values, rather than San Francisco values. So, what to do? Attack the man personally. Calling him, which I love, a racist. Wasn’t it the "Reverend" Jessie Jackson, and Al Shaprton that say, "A Black man cannot be racist." Oh, as long as they further a dying self serving agenda. Don’t speak the truth. Continue to DIVIDE instead of unite.

Yes folks, if you enjoy insanity, continue to give your money to these groups. If you enjoy insanity, for those of you in North Carolina, vote to retain Congressman Miller in office. If you are intelligent and feel morals and fairness is a GOOD thing, I would suggest you vote for Mr. Robinson.

Nancy Pelosi, Full Court Press.

Hey folks,

There is a full court press going on right now by the Left and the mass media. The left are already picking out the furniture, the press is helping them decorate. Even some in the press are CALLING her Speaker of The House Pelosi. Are you kidding me? They REALLY think they got this won. Even some of my friends on the Right are getting into panic mode. They are rushing to "get the vote out." some are even calling for the Right to get ready for the "Pending attack". Hannity is counting down to the election, as am I, 180 days to go by the way, but he "reminds" all Conservatives to vote party lines if they do not want to hear "Speaker of The House, Nancy Pelosi." for real. Rush? He dismisses the Left’s chance altogether. Some good reasons for this though.

So with all this to do, and the full court press by the press, to get Nancy Pelosi the new MAJORITY leader, I feel it’s amazing that your average person, does not even know who she is, or what she stands for. So, let’s look at her a little closer.

You can find more of her voting history at,

Voted NO on banning partial-birth abortion except to save mother’s life. (Oct 2003)
Voted NO on forbidding human cloning for reproduction & medical research. (Feb 2003)

On energy?

Voted NO on authorizing construction of new oil refineries. (Oct 2005)
Voted NO on passage of the Bush Administration national energy policy. (Jun 2004)
Voted NO on implementing Bush-Cheney national energy policy. (Nov 2003)
Voted YES on raising CAFE standards; incentives for alternative fuels. (Aug 2001)
Voted YES on prohibiting oil drilling & development in ANWR. (Aug 2001)

Voted NO on restricting frivolous lawsuits. (Sep 2004)

What about Healthcare?

Voted NO on small business associations for buying health insurance. (Jun 2003)
Voted NO on capping damages & setting time limits in medical lawsuits. (Mar 2003)
Voted NO on allowing suing HMOs, but under federal rules & limited award. (Aug 2001)
Voted NO on Prescription drug coverage under Medicare. (Jun 2000)
Voted NO on banning physician-assisted suicide. (Oct 1999)
Voted NO on establishing tax-exempt Medical Savings Accounts. (Oct 1999)

Now I can go with her on some of these. I would have voted the same way. Some are COMPLETELY outside the realm of intelligence. Just plain kooky. But I’m not pointing out each one. You decide. I can honestly say, I do not think she is a bad person, nor do I think she is completely nuts. She has a infinitesimal chance of being OK. (Smile).

But there are some problems with her, and the Left. First, she said "Democratic priorities are clear, we will fight to get the economy back on track, we will create jobs, and we will help unemployed workers."

Uh, Nancy? The economy is the best it has EVER been, ANYWHERE in the world. This is just a fact folks. You may not know this because if this was the case, as it is, it would take away a main talking point for the Left. So do you think the mainstream media is going to tell you that President Bush did something right? Of course not. They need new material though. This is one of the reasons you need people like me to tell you what they do not. The TRUTH.

Next, and make NO mistake about this, if the Left DOES regain power, NOTHING will get done. They will forget everything they told you. Why? They will be too busy impeaching the President. You know this is true. This will occupy ALL of their time for the next two years. I guess this is in some vain hope that this will win them the White House in 08.

Speaking of which,,, remember,, those that have known me for a while, I predicted a possibility of Clinton / Bush 08??? The Bush family are pushing Jeb, and the far out Leftist Looneys are pushing Hillary. I’m not sure, but I STILL do not think either could win.

Back on topic. Words of advice to my friends on the Left. NEVER count something until you HAVE it. You have 180 days to tell us what you are going to do, OTHER than impeach the President. Now you know I’ve said many times now. One party controlling everything, equals to the head of that party, in this case the President, to having complete and free power. This makes me, and should you as well, very nervous.

But, big BUT, if you think that just because the media is calling her "speaker" on air, is going to make me vote Left, you are wrong. Just because they continuously say they are taking over, as example, "It will be used all the way up to November of 2006 when the American people will change the leadership in Congress," Schumer told reporters talking about the 70 billion tax cut that Congress just approved today, is going to make me vote for you, you are wrong. If you think that the Majority of the American people will vote for you JUST to "get Bush", you are VERY wrong.

I said I want balance in the government, but I do not want two years of waste. Nor do I want us leaving Iraq before time. Nor do I want extreme liberal lunatic agendas. You have 180 days to convince me.. Tick Tock..

The Letter Changes Nothing, We Must Be Careful

Hey folks,

Did you think this would REALLY do anything? "The Letter", that has been the topic of all of the mass media for the last 48 hours or so, changes nothing.

Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, says that the first direct communication from an Iranian leader in 27 years does not help resolve the standoff over Tehran's disputed nuclear program. She said, "There's nothing in here that would suggest that we're on any different course than we were before we got the letter,"

According to the Associated Press, Ahmadinejad told Bush that democracy had failed, and he criticized the United States about everything ranging from the "invasion" of Iraq to its support for Israel. It said, "any technological and scientific achievement reached in the Middle East region is translated into and portrayed as a threat to the Zionist regime."

The whole reason for this letter folks is deaden the U.S. call for a U.N. Security Council vote this week to restrain the Iran’s nuclear programs. According to White House press secretary Scott McClellan, the letter "does not appear to do anything to address the nuclear concerns" of the international community.

As I warned about before, Iran is NOT another Iraq. After a three-hour meeting on Monday of the Security Council's five veto empowered permanent members and Germany and European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana, no agreement could be reached. I would be surprised if one would be. Russia and China, are both against ANY sanctions. As a matter of fact, just Monday China made clear that they wanted any reference to possible sanctions, or war, to be eliminated from the U.N. resolution that orders Iran to curb its nuclear program. This meeting is not going to change their mind. They have too much invested in Iran.

If President Bush decides to go into Iran with the same as Iraq, we ALL have a major problem. This will NOT be just flying around, dropping and few bombs, and moving in ground troops. Laugh if you want to. Do not believe me if you chose. But with Russia and China both VERY much against this, we HAVE to at least consider the possibility of their desire to protect their investments. We could be heading into a war, we can not win.

President Bush said, "I think that it's very important for us to take his words very seriously," talking about the letter, "When people speak, it is important that we listen carefully to what they say and take them seriously."

Then Mr. President, please take seriously what Russia and China have to say. BEFORE you decide to "cowboy up", and go after Iran..

The IWA, May 7th 2006

Hey folks,

And the IWA goes to????? Drum roll please,,,

Abraham Alexander, an accounts payable executive at the Manhattan Cardiovascular Research Foundation. I have no idea what this guy looks like. I’m sure I could take the time to find a picture of him, but I’m not all that interested. I have an image of him though. This just goes to show you money isn’t everything. Money can not buy you happiness. Money can not, most definitely, can not buy you intelligence.

Mr Alexander admitted to stealing $237,162 and spending most of it on airline tickets for trips between New York and Ohio, car rentals in Ohio, purchases at stores called Wicked Naughty Accessories and Leather Creations, and at Victoria's Secret, and services provided by a Columbus, Ohio-based dominatrix called Lady Sage. This according to prosecutors.

His wife, who is now left alone to raise their two daughters in their Long Island home, filed for divorce after Alexander was arrested. You think?

This guy is 45 years old, an accounts executive in Manhattan. Has a wife and two daughters. Nice house. Makes more money than any average Joe. Living the American dream. STEALS $237,162 to paid for a dominatrix?

He was facing 15 years in prison, however Judge Renee White told Alexander that if he came up with more than half of the $237,162 he stole, she would shorten his prison term to one to three years. Must feel sorry for his stupidity.

Let’s see. What may he have been paying for? It seems her services are $250 for the first hour and $200 for each additional hour. An eight-hour session costs $1,500 and 12 hours runs clients $2,000. But he didn’t have to go to her, she come to you for an extra $1,000 a day in travel expenses. So he could have paid her to come beat him at home, office, whatever.

He has pleaded guilty of course. Another example of someone who has it all, and throws it away on stupidity. Mr. Alexander, you ARE the Idiot of the week..

Rush Limbaugh?

Hey folks,

I’ve been getting some very positive comments about this site. I’m happy you all like it. I DO want to share with you, some of, one individual’s comments. Just because I think it’s humorous. Not sure if I should be offended, or flattered.

This gentlemen said,

"I disagree with 90 percent of what you say. But you know what? I find myself having to check in every day. I even find myself disappointed when I do not see any thing new."

Then he said,

"I do have an observation.
Rush Limbaugh has the EIB network
You have the OPN
Rush says "I am American’s anchorman. Talent on loan from GOD. Doing the show with half my brain tied behind my back, just to make it fair."
You say "It’s me. Your voice of simplification in a complicated world. Your voice of intelligence and logic, in the insanity that surrounds us. Your voice of reason."
He comes from behind the golden mic, You come from the magical keyboards of the OPN.

Hell, you both come from Florida.

Are you his son, or clone?"

LOL I guess I could be compared to worse. It’s really simple. Keep checking in. Maybe, just maybe, you learn something. (Smile)

Tomorrow is Sunday folks, the IWA will be given out right here tomorrow. Til then have a great night.

The Words of an Immigrant.

Hey folks,

Bear with me for just a few more. I HAVE to share. If you have noticed, the main stream media has moved on. That’s right. They are now helping the Left pick out their furniture for their new offices in government. The ILLEGAL immigrants? Well, the protests FAILED miserably. No cities were shut down. Their contributions to the economy wasn’t missed all that much. More and more people are against them. SO? The media has moved on. But while this was THE topic, I gave a call out to ANY immigrant legal or illegal, to tell their views on this. Well, someone did. The following is what Dee said. This was posted on 4/30/06 on at 1:12 am over at http://www.newstimeslive.com/

My folks LEGALLY immigrated here. It wasn’t easy. They landed in Danbury, knew no English, had very little money….no family, friends, NOTHING. We lived in a rat and cockroach infested cold water flat but didn’t complain. Every night Pop would make sandwiches with rat poison and place one under the sink, in the pantry, etc. In the morning, it was my job to collect dead rats and dispose of them.

I didn’t know a word of English when I started 1st grade at St Joe’s….and the "Sisters of Mercy" had little mercy. At the time, I thought they were cruel….but funny thing…I learned English quick.

Supper time was sharing time….we kids not only taught our folks English, but also how to read and write in English.Welfare programs were available, but not for us….our Pop wouldn’t have any of it. He had great pride. We all worked…..even us kids. My brothers shined shoes, my sister washed dishes at the convent, I ran errands for Wixted’s Pharmacy on White Street, filled kerosene and oil bottles from tanks located behind tenements on White Street and carried them up 2 or 3 floors for the tenants. Every coin went into an empty tobacco can that had a picture of a house, trees and grass….pasted on the front. Each time it filled up, Pop would take it to the bank and put it in savings.

By the time I was 8, we had enough money to put a down payment on a new house…and we were thrilled the day we moved in. The neighbors weren’t…..they actually seemed afraid of us. This was no big deal….we were used to being treated like half-humans….I can laugh now….but back then, it was tough. But once we settled in and everyone got to know us, everything improved.

One of the first things Pop bought for the house was an American flag, and he displayed it every day….not just on holidays.

He was a strict father, and pushed us to do the best we could….in school, work, regardless. My brothers earned full sports scholarships to college. My sister became a nurse. He felt just being in the USA was opportunity enough to get ahead….and he hated any government program that "offered help" just because you were a minority or in our case: Hispanic. He never believed in "free handouts"….and he drilled in us: Nothing is free, you have to earn it.

Our Pop was a proud American…..he never once referred to himself as a "Spanish-American". He loved the USA, learned English, became a citizen, encouraged his sons to join the military….and they served with honor…..and Pop died a proud American. This coming Monday would have been his birthday…..when hundreds of thousands illegals will protest again….for rights they DON’T deserve and haven’t earned.

I’m glad Pop won’t have to hear the trashy latina version of our National Anthem.

You see folks, this is not just my opinion. This is a slap in people like Dee’s face. Calling this a "civil rights" movement, is a slap in the face of EVERY Black person in this country. Changing the National Anthem is a slap in the face of ever American. If you see that or not is not the point. Doesn’t change this of being a fact.

I say this one more time, I do NOT want mass deportation. I do not want them charged with felonies. I want our boarders secured so we do not have to keep dealing with this. I want those that want to be citizens, to be citizens, by going through the process. Period.

So Many Things So Little Time

Hey folks,

It’s me. Your voice of simplification in a complicated world. Your voice of intelligence and logic, in the insanity that surrounds us. Your voice of reason.

Sticking with the protest for a little bit longer. The early reports are showing a few things that the Pro-protester crowd DON’T want you to know.

First, and of course, nowhere near the numbers that were “Expected” and foretold. Then even the numbers have a problem. To get a TRUE number of Illegals that protested, you have to first subtract all the legals, whites, blacks, anti-war, anti-Bush, anti-whatever, crowd. There were a lot of them.

This also brings up another thing that really bothers me and others. There IS a difference in legal and illegal. They Pro-crowd do not want you separating them. The mainstream media do not use the words that often. Why? Simple, this way they can attack anyone who speaks out against ILLEGALS, they can say you are racist, hateful, and anti-immigration. This is NOT the case. What most, and an ever growing number, are against is the fact THEY came here illegally. They MADE themselves criminals. Not me. Not you. Not even our government. I do not think that arresting them on felony charges , or gathering them all up and having mass deportation, is the answer for those who are already here.

Second, and a BIG one, the economic effect. So far form what is being reported, it did NOT effect the economy all that much. This one they most definitely do not want you to know. To think, that for years Americans worked hard and we got along pretty much by ourselves. Some prices may go up a little, but to pay for more Americans working, regardless of their heritage, making fair money, would be worth it.

The third, is this. It is a growing number of people that either were compassionate toward, middle of the road, or simply did not care, are NOW starting to speak out AGAINST the illegals. They are seeing this for what it is. Criminals pre their choice, demanding they get legalized, and full pardons for their crimes. They are like someone who crawled into your window, set up themselves on your couch, and tell you that you HAVE to accept them.

It will truly be interesting to see what happens in the end. I’ll make another prediction. If it does end up showing little effect on the economy, watch the LACK of coverage. You will most likely see that they just will not talk about it. It does seem to be the case and right now as we speak, the coverage is starting to decrease. Until they can find a way to attack President on this, that is...

Too Early To Tell, But,

Hey folks,

It is still too early to tell what kind of actual numbers we are talking about, but I do know this, NONE of the cities were shut down. That’s right, as I predicted, this turned out to be a lot of noise more than any thing else. Tomorrow will come, the sun will rise, and things will be back to normal.

I’ll tell you what though, they did at least accomplish part of their goal. They HAVE gotten people talking about it. It was, and I’m sure that it will be, on the news for the next couple of weeks. The argument still remains the same though.

Those for the ILLEGALS, try to give us a song and dance of how we need to feel sorry for these poor people. We have to reward, OK, they do not use that word but it IS what they mean, for the suffering and hardships that they have endured both to come here, and where they left.

Those on the side of intelligent, common sense, and for what is right, still believe that this is NOT an immigration issue. It is an ILLEGAL immigration issue. It is not that they came here to make a better life for themselves, but the fact that they,,,

1- Completely ignored our laws.
2- Outright broke our laws.
3- Tried to tell us that we HAVE to accept them.
4- Refuse to take responsibility to learn our ways, our language, and do things like so many before them. The RIGHT way.

This protest did NOT help their cause. Even legal immigrates see this as a slap in their and their Parents, and Grandparents face. It is not going to get them citizenship, and will make it even HARDER at that.

Even though this day will go down in history, and give the news media and everyday people something to talk about, it has lessen sympathetic feelings toward them. As a matter of fact. More people are against this then there was before.

It really IS just this simple. You want to come here and make a better life for you and your family, like my ancestors, and just about everyone else’s did before you, then do it LEGALLY. If not. Do not come here, or when you do, realize this. You ARE a criminal. You are not welcome here by even many of your own, and you, if caught, will pay a price. Just do the right thing. This isn’t that hard to understand.
