More Doom and Gloom Reporting

Hey folks,

I have pointed this out before. The seemingly over whelming need by the mainstream media to report to you, doom and gloom. Back on August 18, 2006, I said,

"Happy FRIDAY to you all. We made it for another week. But how long will we have left? The world could end any day now. You better run and hind under a table somewhere. We are all going to die.

At least we are if you listen to the news. If what we eat does not get us, you have flooding rains, mud slides, wild fires. The hurricanes here in Florida are more intense than any other time in history. Of course, all this is caused by "Global Warming". Then you have the War. Those around the world that hate us, and want us dead because of President Bush. Even though the terrorist have been attacking us for the past 20 years or so. It’s still Bush’s fault."

I then went on to talk about the killer Asteroid that could kill us all. But this is what they love to report on. True end of the world stuff. Of course, it will be all our fault if the end comes. Today?

"The scientists who mind the Doomsday Clock moved it two minutes closer to midnight on Wednesday -- symbolizing the annihilation of civilization and adding the perils of global warming for the first time.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, which created the Doomsday Clock in 1947 to warn the world of the dangers of nuclear weapons, advanced the clock to five minutes until midnight. It was the first adjustment of the clock since 2002.

"We stand at the brink of a second nuclear age," the bulletin's board of directors said in a statement.

They pointed to North Korea's first nuclear test, Iran's nuclear ambitions, U.S. flirtation with "bunker buster" nuclear bombs, the continued presence of 26,000 American and Russian nuclear weapons and inadequate security for nuclear materials.

But the scientists also said destruction of human habitats wreaked by climate change brought on by human activities is a growing danger.

"Global warming poses a dire threat to human civilization that is second only to nuclear weapons," they said."

{Laughing} The "Dooms Day Clock?" Why midnight? The end of the world cannot happen at high noon? What about 2:23 AM? 3:13? Why midnight?

OK first there is no Global Warming. There is no scientific proof that is exists. Just like evolution. But these people want you to believe it. Let’s talk about this for a second. The new code word for the "Chicken Littles" out there is "consensus." They talk about there being a consensus that Global Warming exists.

There USE to be a consensus that the world was flat. There use to be a consensus that we are the center of the universe. There use,,,, You get the point. You cannot have a consensus and science as the same. Science IS. Consensus is until. Science is absolute. Fact. Consensus is an agreed about theory passed off as science.

I’ve said this countless times about evolution. It is a scientifically proven fact that nothing from nothing is nothing, and nothing to nothing is nothing. So until someone can come up with a sound scientific explanation as to where the first something came from, evolution is the same as Creationism, or the "Decedents from Aliens" faiths.

Same thing with "Global Warming." For every scientist out there that says it exists, there is one that says it doesn’t. It used to be a consensus that "A New Ice Age is Coming." what happened to that?

Remember what I pointed out to you about Bernie Sanders of Vermont? He faulted the media for covering two sides of the global warming debate "when there is no debate in the scientific community." So says Sanders. Translation, "Do what we say, believe what we tell you, and do not question us."

The AP puts it this way,

"The world is nudging closer to nuclear or environmental apocalypse, a group of prominent scientists warned Wednesday as it pushed the hand of its symbolic Doomsday Clock closer to midnight.

The clock, which was set two minutes forward to 11:55, represents the likelihood of a global cataclysm. Its ticks have given the clock's keepers a chance to speak out on the dangers they see threatening Earth.

It was the fourth time since the Soviet collapse in 1991 that the clock ticked forward amid fears over what the scientists describe as "a second nuclear age" prompted largely by standoffs with Iran and North Korea. But urgent warnings of climate change also played a role.

The Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, which sets the clock, was founded in 1945 as a newsletter distributed among nuclear physicists concerned about nuclear war, and midnight originally symbolized a widespread nuclear conflict. The bulletin has grown into an organization focused more generally on manmade threats to human civilization.

"The dangers posed by climate change are nearly as dire as those posed by nuclear weapons," said Kennette Benedict, director of the bulletin."

So if we do not kill the planet by causing "Global Warming," then we will blow it up. I do not know about you. But I’m second guessing leaving the house anymore. All the ignorant chicken littles out there, are telling me and you that there is NOTHING we can do. The sky is falling, the sky is falling. The Dooms Day Clock is ticking. They just moved it to illustrate their point.

Take these people seriously if you want. I chose to believe that when my time ticks by, I will be leaving. Not a second before. Not a second after. You see what happens when you remove God from the factor? Chaos and fear become rampant.
Peter
