Media Can NOT Ignore Townhall Protests For Long

Nor can they actually deny what is in the Bill for much longer.

Hey folks,

The Mainstream Media is REALLY having a hard time looking for something, ANYTHING, else to talk about. They do not want to report what is going on at these Democrat Townhall Healthcare meetings. Some are. Those that are, are attempting to spin this that it is no big deal. They are trying to pass the "blame" for this on the Far Right Radicals as they see it. Talk Radio, Republicans, Health Insurance Companies, ETC. But that's not fact folks. Look at this. This is from the AP - Top Democrat denounces health care protests By RICARDO ALONSO-ZALDIVAR and ERICA WERNER (AP)

WASHINGTON — The Senate's most powerful Democrat on Thursday scolded health care protesters dogging his party's lawmakers at local meetings, arguing that some critics on the political right have run out of ideas — and ditched their civic manners. Majority Leader Harry Reid of Nevada accused the protesters of trying to "sabotage" the democratic process.

NO THEY ARE NOT! They are attempting to engage YOU in the Democrat Process. They are more educated than you, and your ilk, on what this is all about. They do NOT want this. They are attempting to get that through to you, YOU are attempting to ignore them. THAT is what is happening.

A small group of lawmakers blocked out the fevered rhetoric and vowed to keep pursuing an elusive bipartisan deal on a broad remaking of the health care system. With encouragement from President Barack Obama and business leaders, the group reported progress on financing an overhaul. But as polls show Obama's approach losing favor with voters — particularly independents — Democrats are talking more openly about the possibility of moving legislation without Republican support.

They can't GET Republican support. Hell, they can not get all Democrat support. This is THAT bad folks. This is NOT just opposed by the Right. It is beginning to be opposed by EVERYONE but the radical Left.

Energized conservative activists said they'll keep up their fight against Obama's effort. The president wants to use the government's clout to subsidize coverage for millions now uninsured, regulate insurance companies more closely and attempt to slow the rise of medical costs. The protesters' shouts and chants, captured on amateur video, went viral on the Internet.

The Republican Party says it's not behind the protests, but Reid scoffed at the notion that the protesters reflect grass-roots sentiment. He held up a piece of artificial turf during a session with reporters.

Listen to this Moron.

"These are nothing more than destructive efforts to interrupt a debate that we should have, and are having," Reid said.

YOU ARE NOT DEBATING ANYTHING! You are attempting to FORCE this down every one's throat. There is no debate on your part.

"They are doing this because they don't have any better ideas. They have no interest in letting the negotiators, even though few in number, negotiate. It's really simple: they're taking their cues from talk show hosts, Internet rumor-mongerers ... and insurance rackets."

WRONG! Well, OK. Partly right. They are LEARNING about what is actually in this bill BY those on the Internet and Talk Radio. Neither the Mainstream Media nor Obama himself are telling people what is actually in the Bill. But after they learn, it is the People that are doing this. This is NOT taking cues from anyone.

Republicans answered back.

"All the polls show there is serious concern, if not outright opposition, to the president's health care plan," said Antonia Ferrier, spokeswoman for House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio. "Democrats are ginning up this cynical shell game."

EXACTLY!

Boehner had said last week the Democrats would be in for a hot summer on health care. Republicans say the political pressure is also on them, from unions and liberal activists targeting conservative lawmakers.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was greeted by about 200 demonstrators at an event in Denver, about half supporting the Democrats, and half opposed.

Obama's top political adviser, David Axelrod, participated in a Capitol Hill session at which senators were shown video of some of the boisterous town-hall meetings, and discussed how to respond to disruptions. White House aides distributed briefing materials explaining to senators the points Obama is stressing, as well as how to answer commonly asked questions.

"It's a challenge, no question about it, and you've got to get out there and make the case," Sen. Chris Dodd, D-Conn., said afterward. "This is not the time for the faint-hearted."

{Laughing} They are trying to get ready for you. They are trying to come up with a script on dealing with you without admitting that you are right.

Democrats and the White House are claiming that the sometimes rowdy protests that have disrupted Democratic lawmakers' meetings and health care events around the country are largely orchestrated from afar by insurers, lobbyists, Republican Party activists and others.

Nope. It is REAL people with REAL opinions and it is a REAL opposition to Obamacare. It is what they fear most, EDUCATED Voters.

Some of the activists who've shown up at town-hall meetings held recently by Sen. Arlen Specter, D-Pa., and other lawmakers are affiliated with loosely connected right-leaning groups, including Conservatives for Patients' Rights and Americans for Prosperity, according to officials at those groups. Some of the activists say they came together during the "Tea Party" anti-big-government protests that happened earlier this year, and they've formed small groups and stayed in touch over e-mail, Facebook and in other ways.

That's the way it should be. You know, like Code Pink, The folks that gather together who have meet at Moveon, and the Huffy Post, ETC. Are they Radicals? In the eyes of the Left?

But they insist they're part of a ground-level movement that represents real frustration with government spending and growth.

For anyone other than the far left, uh, DUH!

About 20 protesters gathered in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., Thursday to let Democratic Rep. Scott Murphy know they oppose the health care plans in Washington. They carried signs saying: "Obamacare Seniors beware! Rationing is here," and "If socialized medicine is best ... why didn't Ted Kennedy go to Canada?" Motorists honked as they drove by.

Most said they learned about the event from various community groups that oppose the health care overhaul. All rejected the notion that they had been organized on a large scale, or had connections to the insurance industry.

John Wagner, a 71-year-old retired salesman, said he wasn't affiliated with any political groups. He said he and his wife, 68-year-old Anne Wagner, came try to talk to Murphy. Both of the registered independents voted for Murphy's Republican opponent.

"We think it's the start of our government taking over every facet of our economy, and of our health, to make sure that the government runs everything," John Wagner said
.

THEY ARE! WE ARE!

At one point, a constituent asked Murphy if he thought the country was headed for universal health care.

"That phrase means a lot of things to a lot of people," Murphy said. His answer was greeted with a chorus of groans.

It's not working for them folks. People WANT FACTS. It goes on to tell you that they are still working on it. But try as hard as they may, people are having a harder and harder time just waving this off. At other Townhalls?

Inside, Democratic lawmakers had a difficult time delivering their opening remarks, as they were met with shouts of "You work for us!'' "Tyranny! tyranny! tyranny!'' and "Read the bill!" the Tampa Tribune reported.

As tensions rose further, Rep. Castor was escorted out of the town hall by police after Reed encouraged her to leave.

"They're hiding from their constituents. She works for us and needs to listen,'' Karen Jaroch, a homemaker and organizer for the 9-12 Project told the Tribune.

"We said all along our role was to come and give an update on the bill in Congress. That's what Betty Reed asked us to do ... and that's what we did," Castor's spokeswoman, Ellen Gedalius, was quoted as saying.

Then you ran away. "You can't Handle the truth." {Laughing} The truth is The PEOPLE do not want this.

Health care opponents said liberal organizers had tried to allow early admission to those who were seen as favorable to legislation making its way through Congress. Reed denied the accusations, saying those brought in were organizers helping to set up the town hall.

"I represent a number of people who ask questions about what's going on with health care, so I thought it would be good to put on a meeting and have the congresswoman come in and give an update," Reed told the Tribune. "When you get to the point of possible violence, you've gone over the edge."

Then get THIS Moron.

Special interest groups, conservative talk radio and big businesses are to credit for recent uprisings that have occurred at town hall meetings across the country, said Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-Ohio) on Thursday.

“I want fair and balanced information being shared at these meetings,” said Brown, who claimed that he was amused by the protests.

Brown argued that town hall participants who have disputatiously engaged their elected officials are victims of a misinformation campaign led by anti-Democratic groups. Brown claimed that the campaign has extended from opposing healthcare reform to questioning President Obama’s citizenship.

No they are upset at the misinformation campaign led by Obama and the likes of YOU. Now that they know the truth, they are angry that YOU lied to them.

“Special interests are trying to shape this bill….trying to decimate the public option…it’s not just drug and insurance companies, but they’re a big part of the resistance.”

No they really are not. It is the Educated Voters. Those that have discovered the truth. You know, you folks can keep attempting to pass the blame, denounce the importance, and down play the outrage, but this will not change anything. It will only continue and may even continue in intensity until you start actually listening. America does not want Obamacare. Get it? Got it? GOOD! Kill it.

Lot of debate on the medical thing.
Obama or otherwise. Few get into the real basics. The first is that government has no business in medical care except to protect peoples rights from fraud etc. Also all medical care is provided by people in a free market place (at least it should be a free market until government gets involved. They won't get what they want in Obama care, but they will pass something getting their parasitical foot in the door then gradualy taking it all over as they have done with almost everything else. Mobs showing up at Townhall meetings? Hell they should be thankful the mobs weren't armed. Come to think of it that's what the British called the liberals in 1770's.
p.s. take care of yourself
