Death Panels May Be Removed

Obama STILL Lying, Dems look to increase support.

Hey folks,

That is what is happening right now with the so called "Death Panel" part of Obamacare. Some Democrats want to remove this provision in the hopes of gaining more support from Blue Dogs and Independents. But if this provision is NOT what opponents claim it is, then WHY remove it? Right? But we all know it is.

Also notice that Obama has NOW dropped the name Healthcare, and is now calling this massive intrusion into EVERY ASPECT of your life, including who lives and dies, Health INSURANCE reform. {Laughing}

That's like saying, "That's not a gun, it's a, a, twinkie." But the problem is, it's a gun, and it will still kill you no matter WHAT you call it. Obama said this.

"These are the stories that aren't being told - stories of a healthcare system that works better for the insurance industry than it does for the American people," Obama said in his weekly radio address, referring to people he has met who have struggled with the current system.

"And that's why we're going to pass health insurance reform that finally holds the insurance companies accountable."

This Bill does NOTHING of the sort. What it DOES do is give the Government complete control over your life. It has really nothing to do with Healthcare.

"The history is clear - every time we come close to passing health insurance reform, the special interests with a stake in the status quo use their influence and political allies to scare and mislead the American people," Obama said.

No. It is Obama and Crew that are misleading the American people. Well, TRYING to. But the problem for them is that the American people are not stupid. They read the bill and KNOW what the Socialist are attempting to do. THAT is why they are opposed to it. Not that they do not want Healthcare reform, they do not want SOCAILISM. NO! Socialism is NOT the new N-word.

"When folks with a stake in the status quo keep inventing these boogeymen in an effort to scare people, it's disappointing, but it's not surprising," Obama said.

What is SCARY, is that we have a President that ACTUALLY WANTS to take over every aspect of our lives, including making the decisions on who lives and who dies. But you see, they KNOW this is a problem. This is why some want to remove it from the Bill. Making end-of-life decisions early and thoughtfully can lead to a comfortable death in a setting you want, experts say -- and save American taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars.

That's what it's all about folks. Remember, OBAMA said it. He actually said give them a pill. Basically, drug them, get them loopy so that they do not care, and let them die. Remember that?


He said it. But some of the more Sane Socialist want to remove the "Death Panel" Provision. They KNOW that this is too far over the edge for most Americans to go.

But the confusion sparked by the recent healthcare reform debate means that the topic is likely to be excluded from the final bill.

End-of-life decisions are particularly important in South Florida because its 33 major hospitals are among the tops in the nation for medical care costs in the last two years of life -- costs that policymakers vow to reduce to help cover the nation's 50 million uninsured.

``This is an area that makes people so uncomfortable that it's hard to have a rational discussion,'' said Bernie Roos, director of the Geriatrics Institute at the University of Miami. ``But it's really important for making the choices you want about your quality and comfort of life.''

So Doctor Kevorkian was right? I guess someone should apologize to him for sending him to jail. Maybe he was just ahead of his time.

Only about 20 percent of Americans complete end-of-life forms, sometimes called living wills, about the treatment they want as their life nears an end if they're no longer in a condition to make those decisions for themselves.

``There are a lot of different scenarios to go through,'' said Roos, a geriatrician. ``It takes me about 45 minutes to do a full discussion with a patient, and I don't get paid for that.''

That means many doctors can't afford to spend time discussing end-of-life desires. The main reform bill before the House of Representatives proposes to change that by requiring Medicare to pay physicians for an end-of-life consultation, if the patient wants to discuss the issue.

So a Doctor can't take 45 minutes to talk to a Patient without getting paid? Really? You buying this?

But in the past week, as the political rhetoric has escalated, former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has charged that such a provision will lead to ``death panels'' deciding who should live and who should die, and others have joined the outcry over the country's supposed move toward euthanasia for the old and weak.

Hey, they have been telling us this all along folks. Remember Daschle says Healthcare reform “will not be pain free.” Seniors should be more accepting of the conditions that come with age instead of treating them. That means the elderly will be forced to realize that they are going to get sick and have problems. Screw off. Just deal with it. The new Government Run Healthcare will care for those that are young and those THEY feel deserve it.

Now this article goes on to discuss things like a Living Will. No problem. I'm a big proponent of Living Wills, but just like Newt, who they quote, I'm NOT for the Government making the decisions for me.

DO NOT BE FOOLED folks. Even if they remove this ONE Provision, we can not allow them to pass this Unconstitutional, Socialistic, MONSTER. Just because they take something out now, doesn't mean that once they have complete and total control, they can not put it right back in.
