Sorry for the late start today. WAY late start. Some family things to take care of. But I am here now.So Spidey seems to have a new side kick? Obama. In the issue Peter Parker, Spider-Man’s alter-ego, is photographing the inauguration and notices there are two identical Obamas. Spider-Man uses basketball to determine the real Obama, punches out the imposter and Obama thanks him with a fist-bump.

A friend of mine had an interesting take on this. Remember Nahool the Bee? Could this be an attempt to get kids into looking at Obama as some kind of bigger than life Superhero? To get kids to fall in love with Obama? He who controls the youth, controls the future. Interesting point of view.
Could it just be the fact that there are so many people in this country that are completely obsessed with Obama that they cannot even think rationally whenever his name is mentioned? I do not know, but this is completely insane to me.
