Hey folks,
Let's start things off on a lighter note today. This is one of those feel good stories that just make you think that life can indeed be stranger than fiction. Having Twins is rare in this Country. Well, it's rare anywhere. There are all kinds of studies out there about Twins. Movies are made about Twins. It is an interest that many find fascinating.
But then you have those rare stories of both Twins doing the same thing at the same time. Even if they are hundreds of miles apart. Getting Married. A Job. Winning some kind of Lottery. That sort of thing.
But then you have something like this. Twins, Birth, Same Day, Same Hospital. Seriously? This means that they would have both had to have become Pregnant on the same day. Around about. Then go through the whole Pregnancy together. At the same time. Then to give BIRTH? At the same time? This is truly amazing. According to Yahoo News AP - Indiana identical twins give birth on same day
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (AP) — Two identical twins in Indiana now have another birthday in common: They delivered babies on the same day at the same hospital.Well good for them. God bless them and little Adalynn Rose Patterson, Mason Douglas Patterson, welcome to the World. Something tells me you two will be extremely close Cousins.
The Herald-Times reports (http://bit.ly/nuLCch) 21-year-old Jessica and Jennifer Patterson gave birth Wednesday at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Jennifer Patterson gave birth first to a girl, Adalynn Rose Patterson, who was born with a collapsed lung but is now doing fine.
Eight and half hours later, Jessica Patterson gave birth to a boy, Mason Douglas Patterson, by cesarean section.
Jennifer Patterson calls the same-day births "kind of cool." Both women live in the tiny Lawrence County town of Judah.
Hospital spokeswoman Amanda Roach says no one can recall the last time identical twins delivered babies at the hospital on the same day.
Be right back.
Peter
