Offended? Don't go there.

Hey folks,

Time to wrap things up with the Idiot of the Week. Ever go to a new Restaurant? You pull into the Drive way to Mac's Pig Snout BBQ. You go up to the Door and you see the Menu. Yup. Pork. Pork, Pork, and more Pork. You do not eat Pork. What do you do?

NO!!! You go in. You not only go in, you go in and tell them that eating Pork offends you, and that YOU demand that they serve you a Tofu Salad. They say "Hey Buddy, we don't sell Tofu here. The Name of the place should have told you all you need to know. Mac's Pig Snout BBQ. Then the Menu should have shown you that we are a Pork Place and we don't sell no Tofu here. Beat it." So what do you do?

NO!!! You Sue. Yup. You SUE. You say that you were offended and that you want the Courts to FORCE Mac's Pig Snout BBQ, to start selling Tofu. That shouldn't be that difficult. Right? But HERE is the problem. YOU. Not the Restaurant. YOU. They advertise what they are. They post a Menu for you to check out. They serve what they serve. Go somewhere else.

That is what most people do. I'm not a Big Pork person so I most likely would never eat at Mac's Pig Snout BBQ. I'll go to "Leftys" in a heartbeat. I do actually quite often. I'm happy. So is Mac. He gets enough business from people who eat there. So what is the Problem?

In the real world, there is no Problem. But in the Left Wing Land of Silliness, this would be a HUGH issue. What do you think when I say Catholic University? Yeah. A Private CATHOLIC University. You know, Christ, Crosses, Mary, and the Bible? You have to Pay them to go there. A lot. So now lets say you are not Catholic? So what. If you want to Pay them to go there and you want to learn what they are teaching, then GO. If not. DON'T GO.

Well, it turns out that there is one Idiot, that feels that the Catholic University needs to change so as to NOT offend Muslims. I kid you not. According to Hot Air - Human-rights complaint seeks secular praying room for Muslims at … Catholic University

The Washington, D.C. Office of Human Rights confirmed that it is investigating allegations that Catholic University violated the human rights of Muslim students by not allowing them to form a Muslim student group and by not providing them rooms without Christian symbols for their daily prayers.

The investigation alleges that Muslim students “must perform their prayers surrounded by symbols of Catholicism – e.g., a wooden crucifix, paintings of Jesus, pictures of priests and theologians which many Muslim students find inappropriate.”

That's right. Muslims are offended,,,uh,,wait?

At this point it’s unclear whether any actual Muslim students at Catholic University are complaining at all.

So congratulations to our Winner of the IWA, his name? John Banzhaf.

The complaint was filed by John Banzhaf, an attorney and professor at George Washington University Law School. Banzhaf has been involved in previous litigation against the school involving the same-sex residence halls. He also alleged in his complaint involving Muslim students that women at the university were being discriminated against. You can read more on those allegations by clicking here.

Banzhaf said some Muslim students were particularly offended because they had to meditate in the school’s chapels “and at the cathedral that looms over the entire campus – the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception.”

“It shouldn't be too difficult somewhere on the campus for the university to set aside a small room where Muslims can pray without having to stare up and be looked down upon by a cross of Jesus,” he told Fox News.

{Sigh} I'm not going to Pay $20 to $50 K a Year to go to a Muslim School. Why? I'm not Islamic. I'm not going to go into a Gay Bar, wait no I can't say that. I did with friends. But I'm not going in there to look for a date. Why? I'm not GAY. I'm not going to Mac's. I do not care for Pork. But IF I did, say, decide to go to a Jewish University, I would not be offended by the Star of David on the Wall. Why? It's a Jewish University.

Is there a clamoring in the Gay Community or the Muslim Community to go to the Catholic University? I highly doubt it. Sorry John Banzhaf. Both your idiocies and your hate is showing. You are without a doubt the Idiot of the Week. We all have choices in life. It really is a simple concept. Offended? Don't go there. But I know, you really don't care. Just attempting to make a buck and get 15 minutes of Fame. Here it is. You are the Winner of the IWA. Would you like to go to Church this Sunday? You could be my Guest.
