Father Gore's Blessings

Of course Gore is Happy.

Hey folks,

Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog, glad you could stop by today. This week is just completely jam packed with information that we must talk about. Of course, I will lead off with the Obama Pork Package passage. It is a SAD day in America.

Of course, Father Al Gore is ecstatic.

"I congratulate Congress on the passage of the Recovery and Reinvestment Act and I look forward to the President's signature on this critical legislation.

"The recovery bill reaffirms that the solutions to our economic and climate crises go hand in hand. Congress has demonstrated a commitment to create jobs and Repower America by providing critical investments in energy efficiency, renewable energy and a unified national smart grid.

"By accelerating America's shift to a clean energy economy, this bill lays the foundation for a true recovery and is an important first step in dramatically reducing our carbon emissions. To continue that progress, we must take concrete action this year on additional energy and climate legislation and complete an international climate treaty."

He is going to get BILLIONS of your money. More authority and control over your personal and private lives. Of course he is happy. His scam is paying off BIG TIME. To bad nothing that he said Saturday, nor anything anyone else on the Left is saying about this Bill is true. But more on that in a second.

Oh and speaking of the death of Capitalism, here is a CLEAR example that the Left are either completely ignorant as to what that is, or they are not, however just do not care.

Sen. Christopher Dodd, chairman of the Senate Banking, Housing and Urban Affairs Committee, inserted strict rules into the $787 billion economic stimulus package over the White House's objections. Dodd's limits on bankers' bonuses are significantly more aggressive than those sought by Obama or Geithner in recent days, with much fanfare.

Dodd, D-Conn., said the restrictions — an executive making $1 million a year in salary could receive only $500,000 in bonus money, for example — are necessary if Obama plans to ask Congress for more money to save the financial sector.

"It will never happen as long as the public perceives that there are people getting rich," Dodd said in an interview. "Save their pay or save capitalism."

You Mr. Dodd are an Idiot. When the Federal Government, starts taking over entire industries and telling Private Companies what they can get paid, that IS the death of Capitalism. This entire Pork Package signals the death of Capitalism. {sigh}

Anyway, get ready. Get your morning go, go juice, and let's get going. Mine is Hawaiian Hazelnut today. I'll be right back. Going to refill my cup.

I don't think it is the death of Capitalism, but definitly another nail in the coffin. The stimulus packages will creat jobs for sure; governmnt jobs, that you and I will finance. I'm hearing that they (the congress didn't even read it), but then they didn't read the Patriot Act either, so what's new. If I could get a copy of it I'd love to read it, if I'm allowed? Any ideas on how one can be obtained, by an average citizen?

Hey D.S.,

Your right. You know, call me crazy, but I did not elect the staffers of these Politicians. I elected THEM. If they are going to vote on something, the LEAST they could do is actually READ it.

How do you know that you are for or against something if you do not even know what is in it?

I have been told by some credible sources that this is a common practice in Washington. That out of all the things they vote for, they most likely do not read about 90 percent of them. Then, when this or that group adds to it, they do not read THAT. So they basically just vote for or against based on what the Leadership tell them. Scary uh?

Let's say that is all true. Don't you thing that the biggest spending Bill in history, one that has nothing but Pork, and one that is FILLED with Socialism would qualify to be in the 10 percent that they would actually read?

Thanks for the link.
