Mass Media Drones Will Not Quit

MMD full out attack on Palin

Hey folks,

Happy Monday to you. Yes, it's true. The MMD {Mass Media Drones} are in full attack mode against Sarah Palin. They ABSOLUTLEY hate the fact she is bypassing them and talking directly to the American people. They absolutely HATE that she is telling the American people the TRUTH and bringing to light what THEY, the Mainstream Media have been trying to HIDE. The TRUTH about Obama.

I was just getting ready to leave the OPNTalk office Yesterday, when I caught this AP story via Yahoo news. AP - Analysis: Palin's words may backfire on McCain By DOUGLASS K. DANIEL, Douglass K. Daniel is a writer and editor with the Washington bureau of The Associated Press. This is NOTHING more than an outright hit piece on Palin and McCain. Problem is though, this guy is an idiot and has no clue what he is talking about. Here it is.

By claiming that Democrat Barack Obama is "palling around with terrorists" and doesn't see the U.S. like other Americans, vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin targeted key goals for a faltering campaign.

STOP! A faltering Campaign? Who's? Maybe he is talking about Obama's campaign. Try as hard as you and the rest of the Obamaites in the MMD, McCain is NOT faltering. Despite your best efforts, most Americans see Palin as the CLEAR winner of the Debate. Sorry. You are just flat out wrong.

But you see folks, this is a typical Liberal maneuver. They dismiss McCain and Palin and try to get you to believe that it's over. There is no point in you dumb Racists hicks out there, clinging to your guns and Bibles to even bother voting. Obama is the next President and he will win in a landslide. So just stay home. You know, gas is still pretty high, thanks to Bush of course, so don't waste your time or money. Just accept Obama. That is who WE {The MMD} will elect for you. {Sigh}

And though she may have scored a political hit each time, her attack was unsubstantiated and carried a racially tinged subtext that John McCain himself may come to regret.

You are a complete Moron Mr. Daniel. What did I tell you folks. Race card yet again being played. Yet again, someone tells the TRUTH about Obama, "You are a RACIST!" Idiot.

As for "unsubstantiated?" That is just plain bull. Both Obama and Ayers were members of the board of an anti-poverty group, the Woods Fund of Chicago, between 1999 and 2002. In addition, Ayers contributed $200 to Obama's re-election fund to the Illinois State Senate in April 2001. They lived within a few blocks of each other in the trendy Hyde Park section of Chicago, and moved in the same liberal-progressive circles. Ayres also helped launch Obama's political career with a meet and greet at Ayers' house when Obama first ran for the Illinois state senate.

From 1995 to 1999, he led an education foundation called the Chicago Annenberg Challenge (CAC), and remained on the board until 2001. The group poured more than $100 million into the hands of community organizers and radical education activists.

The CAC was the brainchild of Bill Ayers, a founder of the Weather Underground in the 1960s. Among other feats, Mr. Ayers and his cohorts bombed the Pentagon, and he has never expressed regret for his actions. Barack Obama's first run for the Illinois State Senate was launched at a 1995 gathering at Mr. Ayers's home.

The Obama campaign has struggled to downplay that association. Last April, Sen. Obama dismissed Mr. Ayers as just "a guy who lives in my neighborhood," and "not somebody who I exchange ideas with on a regular basis." Yet documents in the CAC archives make clear that Mr. Ayers and Mr. Obama were partners in the CAC. Those archives are housed in the Richard J. Daley Library at the University of Illinois at Chicago and I've recently spent days looking through them....

Hell, even the Obama campaign itself said that Obama was friendly with Ayers. As for Obama not seeing the Country like Palin and McCain does? That is FACT also. Let's leave aside the whole association thing for a second. Be it Ayers, Wright, Farrakhan, or any other Liberal American hater, and focus on what Obama said. We'll even leave out his Wife's, hateful remarks toward the country also. Obama has said that America is broke. That we are not as great as we once were. That we are guilty of world woes. He does not believe in the American people. He wants to Socialize everything. Let the Government tell you what is best for you. McCain and Palin DO believe in the American Dream and letting people continue to seek it. They believe that it is the American people that can work together to solve whatever problems we face. Not the Government. The differences are CLEAR. Back to this Moron.

First, Palin's attack shows that her energetic debate with rival Joe Biden may be just the beginning, not the end, of a sharpened role in the battle to win the presidency.

"Our opponent ... is someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect, imperfect enough, that he's palling around with terrorists who would target their own country," Palin told a group of donors in Englewood, Colo. A deliberate attempt to smear Obama, McCain's ticket-mate echoed the line at three separate events Saturday.

"This is not a man who sees America like you and I see America," she said. "We see America as a force of good in this world. We see an America of exceptionalism."

This is all true. Sorry Mr. Daniel. You can call it an attack. But it is all true.

Obama isn't above attacking McCain with loaded words, releasing an ad on Sunday that calls the Arizona Republican "erratic" — a hard-to miss suggestion that McCain's age, 71, might be an issue. A harsh judgment, certainly, but not on the level of accusing a fellow senator of being un-American and even a friend of terrorists.

{Sigh} Then he writes this.

Second, Palin's incendiary charge draws media and voter attention away from the worsening economy. It also comes after McCain supported a pork-laden Wall Street bailout plan in spite of conservative anger and his own misgivings.

"It's a giant changing of the subject," said Jenny Backus, a Democratic strategist. "The problem is the messenger. If you want to start throwing fire bombs, you don't send out the fluffy bunny to do it. I think people don't take Sarah Palin seriously."

Wrong again. {Laughing} They DO take her seriously. You may not like her. But the American people sure do.

The larger purpose behind Palin's broadside is to reintroduce the question of Obama's associations. Millions of voters, many of them open to being swayed to one side or the other, are starting to pay attention to an election a month away.

For the McCain campaign, that makes Obama's ties to Ayers as well as convicted felon Antoin "Tony" Rezko and the controversial minister Jeremiah Wright ripe for renewed criticism. And Palin brings a fresh voice to the argument.

Effective character attacks have come earlier in campaigns. In June 1988, Republican George H.W. Bush criticized Democrat Michael Dukakis over the furlough granted to Willie Horton, a convicted murderer who then raped a woman and stabbed her companion. Related TV ads followed in September and October.

So again, telling the truth about these Liberals is an attack. Simply talking TRUTH is a character associations. But unfounded and completely bogus attacks on those on the Right are fair game. Even if they have to correct their "errors" later. Unbelievable. Typical, but unbelievable

The Vietnam-era Swift Boat veterans who attacked Democrat John Kerry's war record started in the spring of 2004 and gained traction in late summer.

"The four weeks that are left are an eternity. There's plenty of time in the campaign," said Republican strategist Joe Gaylord. "I think it is a legitimate strategy to talk about Obama and to talk about his background and who he pals around with."

Palin's words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee "palling around" with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn't see their America?

You Sir are the Racist. To say that one cannot criticize someone's REAL and ACCUTRATE past and associations is NOT racism. Calling one Racist for doing so, IS. What Palin said has nothing to do with Race. YOU and your ilk are the ones that see everything through the prism of Race.

In a post-Sept. 11 America, terrorists are envisioned as dark-skinned radical Muslims, not the homegrown anarchists of Ayers' day 40 years ago. With Obama a relative unknown when he began his campaign, the Internet hummed with false e-mails about ties to radical Islam of a foreign-born candidate.

Whether intended or not by the McCain campaign, portraying Obama as "not like us" is another potential appeal to racism. It suggests that the Hawaiian-born Christian is, at heart, un-American.

Mr. Daniels, I have a question for you. Are you REALLY this ignorant? Or is this just simply a sign of just how desperate you and your Liberal friends are. Is this a sign of you suffering from Palinoia? Or do you REALLY believe this garbage?

The fact is that when racism creeps into the discussion serves a purpose for McCain. As the fallout from Wright's sermons showed earlier this year, forcing Obama to abandon issues to talk about race leads to unresolved arguments about America's promise to treat all people equally.

John McCain occasionally says he looks back on decisions with regret. He has apologized for opposing a holiday to honor Martin Luther King Jr. He has apologized for refusing to call for the removal of a Confederate flag from South Carolina's Capitol.

When the 2008 campaign is over will McCain say he regrets appeals such as Palin's?

Nope. You know what he will say? Despite you and your Liberal friends in the Mainstream Media's best effort? He will say "Good morning Vice President Palin."

Listen up. I am a democrat and know that no one in the military or civilian leadership would be given a clearance with this guy's background. Ayers and Rezko, Wright and Farrakahn. Need I say more folks. DO you really believe the Feds would allow an average citizen a clearance if they had this guy's background. HELL NO! He is a radical. And if that doesn't get you going what about the campaign manager who had a photo of Hugo Chavez in their campaign office last summer.... Start thinking... radical OBama

Hey Anonymous,

Welcome to the OPNTalk Blog.

I'm not sure if you are, but if you are in the Military, first and foremost, THANK YOU.

Second, your one hundred percent right. It amazes me that so many people out there just blindly accept whatever they see on the 5 o clock news. They believe whatever they are told. They just accept Obama the MMD Messiah because they are told to.

Forget the fact he is a Socialist. Forget his actual History. Forget that he has done nothing. Just vote for him because he is Black. Or else, YOU ARE A RACIST.

I really hope, and do truly believe that when it comes to the actual election, when the Main Stream Media can no longer flood people with these "Polls" and no longer spin what they are to believe, and the American people are given the chance to vote, we will see the REALITY of this situation. Obama loses.
