IWA For Sunday 101208

Race Card AGAIN. As Played By The Left

Hey folks,

It's Sunday! Time for the IWA. Now if you have been here for any period of time, you know that I have CLEARLY pointed out example after example of it being the Left that is obsessed with the Race Card. It is the Left that sees EVERYTHING through the prism of Race. It is ALWAYS the Left that plays the Race Card when they know they can not win on issues, ideals, or any kind of intellectual debate, they cry Racism.

Here is yet another CLEAR example. If you have been paying attention to me or any in the New Media, you KNOW that the Obama crowds are dwindling and the McCain / Palin Crowds have been off the charts. You KNOW that this is because people are starting to pay attention. They are FINALLY being told the truth. The truth about the reason for the economic mess {Democrats}, the truth about Obama {Rezco, Ayers, ACORN, ETC} the truth about the TRUE change that this country faces. {Socialism or reform} They are starting to like what McCain and Palin are saying.

Well THAT is not sitting well with the MMD or the LWL. So lately, well, let me give you the news on an average day lately. "Race, Race, Race, Racism, Racist, Race, Race, Racism, Racist, Race, Oh, Palin found guilty of abuse of power, Race, Race, Bush is to blame for the Economy, Race, Race, Race, Hope and Change, You Racist Bigot you." That pretty much sums it up.

Well now there is a reason that Obama's crowds are dewindling and McCain and Palins are growing. Can you guess? Yup! RACE.

According to CNN - McCain calls comments by Georgia Democrat 'shocking'

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Sen. John McCain called a statement by a Georgia congressman Saturday, which compared the feeling at recent Republican rallies to those of segregationist George Wallace, "a brazen and baseless attack."

Of course it was, but that is all they know. This is who they are.

Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, who has been praised by McCain in the past, issued his statement after several days of headline-grabbing anger aimed at Democratic nominee Barack Obama from some attendees at campaign rallies of McCain and running mate Gov. Sarah Palin.

"What I am seeing reminds me too much of another destructive period in American history. Sen. McCain and Gov. Palin are sowing the seeds of hatred and division, and there is no need for this hostility in our political discourse," Lewis said in a statement.

"George Wallace never threw a bomb. He never fired a gun, but he created the climate and the conditions that encouraged vicious attacks against innocent Americans who were simply trying to exercise their constitutional rights. Because of this atmosphere of hate, four little girls were killed on Sunday morning when a church was bombed in Birmingham, Alabama," wrote the Democrat.

You sir are an Idiot. To compare McCain and Palin to George Wallace is asinine at best. You sir, comparing those Americans that are fired up over hearing the TRUTH about your Messiah, to those completely insane and out of control racists that killed those little girls is patently absurd and shows that it is YOU sir, that is the Racist. Yes. YOU Rep. John Lewis, D-Georgia, are the Racist here.

McCain has written about Lewis, praising his actions in Selma, Alabama, during the civil rights movement. The Republican nominee even said during a summer faith forum that Lewis was one of three men he would turn to for counsel as president.

But the Arizona senator blasted Lewis' remarks, and called on Obama to repudiate them.

"Congressman John Lewis' comments represent a character attack against Gov. Sarah Palin and me that is shocking and beyond the pale," he said in a Saturday afternoon statement released by his campaign.

"The notion that legitimate criticism of Sen. Obama's record and positions could be compared to Gov. George Wallace, his segregationist policies and the violence he provoked is unacceptable and has no place in this campaign. I am saddened that John Lewis, a man I've always admired, would make such a brazen and baseless attack on my character and the character of the thousands of hardworking Americans who come to our events to cheer for the kind of reform that will put America on the right track.

"I call on Sen. Obama to immediately and personally repudiate these outrageous and divisive comments that are so clearly designed to shut down debate 24 days before the election. Our country must return to the important debate about the path forward for America."

So what was Obama's response?

Also Saturday, Obama campaign spokesman Bill Burton released a statement on the Lewis comments.

"Sen. Obama does not believe that John McCain or his policy criticism is in any way comparable to George Wallace or his segregationist policies," Burton said. "But John Lewis was right to condemn some of the hateful rhetoric that John McCain himself personally rebuked just last night, as well as the baseless and profoundly irresponsible charges from his own running mate that the Democratic nominee for president of the United States 'pals around with terrorists.' "

I already talked about this. Obama DOES Pal around with terrorists. IS ACORN. His associations are Radical. He IS a Socialist. Pointing out the TRUTH is not baseless irresponsible nor is it Racism. It is the truth.

As for our winner this week?

Later Saturday, Lewis issued a statement saying a careful review of his remarks "would reveal that I did not compare Sen. John McCain or Gov. Sarah Palin to George Wallace."

"My statement was a reminder to all Americans that toxic language can lead to destructive behavior," Lewis said. "I am glad that Sen. McCain has taken some steps to correct divisive speech at his rallies. I believe we need to return to civil discourse in this election about the pressing economic issues that are affecting our nation."

We can not have a civil discourse about the Economy, when those to blame, ALL Democrats, continue to lie and refuse to take any responsibility for it. Sorry. McCain and Palin are going to continue to tell the truth. Base it with FACTS, and continue to fight YOU, your Party and the Mainstream Media Drones all the way up to the White House.

Congratulations Congressman John Lewis, for playing the Race card in this overtly BLANTANT way, when there is NO facts behind it, YOU are the Idiot of the Week. You are also the one that seems to have some Racial tendencies.
Peter
