As you know, the Idiots in Washington, are attempting to further their SCAM of Climate Change. AKA: Global Warming.
So the story goes, House Democrats told House Republicans, that they were going to have a "superstar guest" to testify about Climate Change, but would not say who. So the Republicans said "Great, so do we." They said "fine."
Then as the time got closer, the Democrats said, "OK. Our person is Al Gore. Who is yours." The Republicans said "UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher." With that, the House Democrats ran away scared as hell and said "NO! He can not testify. Absolutely no way, no how, We'll accept, uh, Newt. Yeah, Newt Gingrich. He is not a Scientist {Neither is Gore} and we can easily with the help of the press, wave him off."
You think I'm kidding? I'm not. They are SCARED to DEATH of Lord Christopher Monckton, because Al Gore will LOSE any debate with him. Al Gore would look like the complete lying idiot he is. Newt? Well, they drag that old bear out of the closet. He has not clue about climate. Who cares what Newt thinks. Right?
Washington, DC -- UK's Lord Christopher Monckton, a former science advisor to Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher, claimed House Democrats have refused to allow him to appear alongside former Vice President Al Gore at a high profile global warming hearing on Friday April 24, 2009 at 10am in Washington. Monckton told Climate Depot that the Democrats rescinded his scheduled joint appearance at the House Energy and Commerce hearing on Friday. Monckton said he was informed that he would not be allowed to testify alongside Gore when his plane landed from England Thursday afternoon.
“The House Democrats don't want Gore humiliated, so they slammed the door of the Capitol in my face,” Monckton told Climate Depot in an exclusive interview. “They are cowards.”
Yes they are. And this is not just a claim, this is a FACT.
According to Monckton, Rep. Joe Barton (R-Texas), Ranking Member on the Energy & Commerce Committee, had invited him to go head to head with Gore and testify at the hearing on Capitol Hill Friday. But Monckton now says that when his airplane from London landed in the U.S. on Thursday, he was informed that the former Vice-President had “chickened out” and there would be no joint appearance. Gore is scheduled to testify on Friday to the Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment's fourth day of hearings on the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009. The hearing will be held in 2123 Rayburn House Office Building.
According to Monckton, House Democrats told the Republican committee staff earlier this week that they would be putting forward an unnamed 'celebrity' as their star witness Friday at a multi-panel climate hearing examining the House global warming bill. The "celebrity" witness turned out to be Gore. Monckton said the GOP replied they would respond to the Democrats' "celebrity" with an unnamed "celebrity" of their own. But Monckton claims that when the Democrats were told who the GOP witness would be, they refused to allow him to testify alongside Gore.

The GOP committee “pushed at multiple levels” to bring Monckton in to testify but the Democrats “refused,” according to the GOP source. Former GOP House Speaker Newt Gingrich was called in to testify after Monckton was rejected by the committee Democrats, according to the Congressional source.]
“The Democrats have a lot to learn about the right of free speech under the US Constitution. Congress Henry Waxman's (D-CA) refusal to expose Al Gore's sci-fi comedy-horror testimony to proper, independent scrutiny by the House minority reeks of naked fear,” Monckton said from the airport Thursday evening.
“Waxman knows there has been no 'global warming' for at least a decade. Waxman knows there has been seven and a half years' global cooling. Waxman knows that, in the words of the UK High Court judge who condemned Gore's mawkish movie as materially, seriously, serially inaccurate, 'the Armageddon scenario that he depicts is not based on any scientific view,'” Monckton explained. Monckton has previously testified before the House Committee in March. And it won't be. They can't prove Global Warming, uh, I mean Climate Change is Man-Made, nor if it is even happening. When someone with the expertise of Lord Monckton can EASILY dis-prove all the falsehoods and outright lies of the Global Warming Chicken Little crowd, they want him far far away, and silent. He can ruin their SCAM.

Speaking of scams, what exactly is this minor Lord's actual qualifications? Is he a trained scientist? What's his degree in? Was he really Maggie Thatcher's science adviser?

When we can't get a public debate over what will be the biggest tax plan against the public and industry alike who cares what his qualifications are, he is asking for us to look at what it is in fact fraud or
racketeering as it known in the US.
Questions need answers now and not after the tax has been put in place.
The issue in Washington is not climate change but peak oil and the severe economic damage it is doing to this Country. Our politicians know about peak oil but will not take the necessary measures to prevent the upcoming economic damage it will inflict on this Country in the immediate future. We have idiots and self interest jerks in Washington that are more loyal to the fossil fuel industry than the American public. Someone other than T Boone Pickens needs to get the message across about Peak oil. The simple fact is the world has been consuming five barrels of oil for every on barrels it finds and the well will run dry.
It is a fallacy to attack ad hominem. You must attack the argument and let the better one 'rule' so to speak. If the global warming case is 'rock solid' then there will be no problem in them debating. why the fear?
No Monckton was never a scientific adviser to Thatcher in fact it's stretching facts to even call him an adviser to Thatcher, he doesn't get one mention in her autobiography although she does deal with climate change and actually mentions her scientific advisor George Guise. Then as we know he had to be told by the clerk of the UK Parliament to stop claiming he was a member of the House of Lords, he isn't and never was.
What's hilarious is that "Lord Christopher Monckton" is a comic character played by comedian Sacha Baron Cohen--the same guy that plays Ali G and Borat. The whole point of the character is to make fun of simplistic conservative arguments.
Or rather, Al Gore and the democrats didn't want to let the Republicans make themselves look COMPLETELY ridiculous, by having an unqualified moronic weasel like "Lord" Monckton speak on their behalf. You do research these things before you start spouting lies, right? Because this Monckton guy is completely nuts, and has even been told by England to quit claiming he is a member of the house of Lords. Do some research before you start defending a quack.
