BBC - Discovery cancels Michael Jackson autopsy TV show

The Discovery Channel television network has said it will not air a re-enactment of Michael Jackson's autopsy, amid concerns the programme was distasteful.

Distasteful? Really? But,,oh never mind. Coming right up today?

Do you remember this? Pictures Of Aborted Babies On Planned Parenthood Doors I said that in response to the FDA proposing a new requirement that Cigarette Packs carry larger, graphic Warning Labels to cover half of the package. Then we learned that just ONE Cigarette can kill you. Just one. So I said Now It's Official, Cigarettes Should Be Banned

Seems that the Lib.s in Canada are trying to get ahead of the curve. According to the BBC - Canada plans larger warnings on cigarette packs

The Canadian government has introduced new rules that will force tobacco companies to place larger, more graphic warning labels on cigarette packs.

Health Minister Leona Aglukkaq said the new labels would cover three-quarters of the front and back of the packages, an increase from one-half.

They will feature warnings of tobacco-related diseases, like bladder cancer.

The new packaging will also list a telephone hotline aimed at helping those who want to quit smoking.

The federal government plans to launch a social media campaign targeting younger smokers alongside the launch of the new labels, Ms Aglukkaq said.

'Memorable' warnings

"Canadian and international research has shown that to be effective, health warnings must be noticeable and memorable," Ms Aglukkaq said.

Blah, blah, blah. Simply put, BAN them. If they are this horrendous, then BAN them. Go for it. Can you imagine if people started to sell Liquid Hydrogen Cyanide. People who take it once die. But people want it. So we start selling it and the Government comes along and says, "Well, OK. Since people want it, and they are going to buy it anyway, lets tax it." So now it's on the Market. But, "You better tell people that it will kill them. Show them pictures of dead people."

Yeah. Sounds ridiculous does it not? But Hydrogen Cyanide IS in Cigarettes. We are told all the time that smoking, well, now, just ONE will kill you. So why are they still selling them? The simple fact is money.

However, I still contest the fact that we have ANY evidence that Second Hand Smoke does ANYTHING. As far as just ONE Cigarette killing you. Complete Bunk. But we all know Smoking is not good for you. It DOES have the potential to KILL you in the long run.

Do we need Pictures? Do we need GRAPHIC Pictures? Yet still sell them? OK. But why do we not show Pictures of Aborted, Murdered, Children on PPH Materials and on the Doors of Abortion Clinics? If you Smoke, you MAY Die. If you are Aborted, you WILL Die. If your Mother decides to go there for the sole purpose of Murdering her unborn Child, that IS the intended outcome. So why do we not start showing them what they are choosing. Right?
