Al-Qaeda Terrorist Ahmed Ghailani Acquitted

Hey folks,

Something to give you that warm and fuzzy feeling this Thursday Morning. Do you know how many Terrorists that we have caught, released, and found to be back out there trying to KILL us? A LOT! It happens all the time.

They do not think like we do folks. They LIVE to KILL US. That is the whole point. There is no rehab. There is no forgiveness. There are no reasons to think that we can talk them into a different way of thinking. As of Jan 5, 2010, 74 of the 530 Detainees in Guantánamo were suspected or known to have returned to Terrorist activity since their release. That is those we KNOW of.

So we get a Terrorist, lock them away, out of reach of them doing any harm, and a BLEEDING HEART LIBERAL President, some say sympathetic to their cause, decides that the thing to do is bring them HERE. Yes. Bring them here, give them a lawyer, and afford them US Citizen Rights. {Sigh}

Now forget WHY you might think Obama and Crew want this. To get Bush, put America on Trial, or just because they AGREE with the Terrorists, it is NOT a good idea. Some argue it's not even LEGAL. But they are doing it.

This is a perfect example of how this is so, forget insulting to EVERY America {At least is should be} dangerous. The first civilian trial of a Guantanamo prisoner ended Wednesday with the stunning acquittal of an accused Al Qaeda operative on all but a single count.

A federal jury convicted Ahmed Ghailani, 36, of conspiring to destroy U.S. buildings and property in the 1998 bombings of U.S. Embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed 224 people, including 12 Americans.

But - after 41/2 days of deliberation - the panel cleared Ghailani of more than 280 other counts, including the top charges of murder and murder conspiracy.

So this guy, that KILLED 224 people, including 12 Americans, was only convicted for attempting to damage Property. "But Pete, but Pete, he faces 20 years."He KILLED 224 people, including 12 Americans. Some bleeding heart Liberal Judge, might give him a reduced sentence. He could actually be free to walk our Streets in ten years. After all, "A Jury just found him innocent," and we are only talking about Property Damage here. You think this will not happen? This Judge, Lewis Kaplan, did EVERYTHING he could to see this guy released totally. He blocked key Witnesses who Defense Lawyers say Investigators learned about only after Mr. Ghailani was, uh, underwent "harsh interrogation" at a secret CIA Camp overseas between 2004 and 2006. So no to the people that could actually have sealed his fate. No because America is evil and torture people. {Sigh}

I agree with Rep. Pete King (R-L.I.).

"A disgraceful miscarriage of justice. It shows how totally wrong the Obama administration is to bring a case like this to civilian court. He was acquitted of 224 counts of murder.

If this had been before a military tribunal, evidence that was blocked in this case would have been admissable,"

And I agree with Edith Bartley, who lost her Father and Brother in the Kenya bombing.

"This man committed horrible acts, and the fact that the jury found him guilty of conspiracy but not of the other counts is mind-boggling. He should be sentenced to life."

Folks, this really is a complete miscarriage of Justice. How does the DOJ and Obama and Crew feel?

"We respect the jury's verdict and are pleased that Ahmed Ghailani
now faces a minimum of 20 years in prison and a potential life sentence.

He will face, and we will seek, the maximum sentence of life without
parole when he is sentenced in January."

You couldn't convict him of 224 counts of Murder. So what makes you think that you can win this? It really is simple folks. These people are NOT Criminals to be held accountable by the rule of law. They are not afforded US Rights. They are trying to KILL US. They WANT us all dead, and our country destroyed.

They are our ENEMIES in a WAR. What we saw here is a perfect example of why this can not work. They are NOT US Citizens. They do not posses those Rights. They are our enemy that needs to be stopped at ANY COST. With ANYTHING at our disposal. If this guy was to walk, he would then be able to attack us again. Make no mistake about it. He most likely would.
