California Going Backwards, We Are Paying For Cal. Green

I'm going to try to get through this.

Happy Tuesday to you. I really AM. I'm going to try to get through this without losing my tempter at the SHEER and unadulterated stupidity of the whole thing.

Did you know that California is currently borrowing $40M a day to pay for their State's Unemployment. Yes. That means YOU are paying them. They are completely upside down with their Budget, and the problem, thanks to Liberal Policies, keeps getting worse.

Just their refusal to enforce Immigration Law, Costs them $10 BILLION. $7.7 Billion a year to School the Children of Illegal Aliens, which is said to now be about 15 percent of the Student Body. Another $1.4 billion of the Tax money goes toward providing Healthcare to Illegal Aliens. Also about that same amount is spent incarcerating Illegal Aliens instead of Deporting them.

But THEY HAD A SOLUTION! This is what is so frustrating. Back on Wednesday, December 30, 2009, I told you this.

To help them {California} out of the mess, they decided to DO what America SHOULD be doing. Why? Because the ANSWER is RIGHT HERE!

California decided to use a portion of its abundant Natural Resources to pay for services to its Citizens. An estimated $1.8 billion in State royalty payments are expected over the life of developing these resources, and the funds will help defray the State's budget shortfall as well as increase our entire Country's energy security. Again, as I have said in the past, it HAS been proven. Now we just have to do it. Not to mention more than $6 billion annually for the state and create more than 16,000 jobs. That should help boost any States Economy

Calif. — Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger on Monday withdrew his support of a plan to expand oil drilling off the California coast, citing the massive oil spill that resulted from a drilling rig explosion in the Gulf of Mexico.

The announcement assures that no new drilling will take place off the state's coastline in the foreseeable future because Schwarzenegger would have to include the drilling proposal in his May revision of the state budget.

Government policies aimed at fighting climate change and supporting development of clean energy can drive economic growth and job creation, officials from California and other states and provinces said Monday at a climate summit.

{Sigh} Folks, THERE IS NOTHING OUT THERE. It's all a Pipe Dream. There are no GREEN JOBS! You know what IS driving the Economy? OIL!

California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, who hosted the summit, suggested that lawmakers in the U.S. and around the world should set aside political differences to agree on policies that favor conservation, energy efficiency and alternative energy. The summit, scheduled to conclude Tuesday with a climate agreement among provincial governments from the U.S., Canada, China, and other countries, comes two weeks before national governments meet in Cancun, Mexico, for international climate talks.

"There are people who may not believe in global warming, but everyone, regardless of party, wants their kids to breathe clean air and drink clean water," Schwarzenegger, who is a Republican, said during the summit in Davis, Calif., which was webcast. "Let's not get stuck on one thing we disagree on, rather let's talk about what we do agree on."

The Governator is no Republican. He is a RINO. Not his fault. He is married to a Lib who most likely wears the pants at home. He wants to keep the peace there so? Anyway, what we do not agree on Arny, IS the fact that Global Warming is Real, and a THREAT. We do not see this dire need to abandon what DOES drive the Economy, the WORLD Economy, and that DOES create Revenue and Jobs, for something that is NOT REAL. What we do not agree on Arny, is SANITY. We want it, and you seem to not have a clue as to what it is.

Although U.S. lawmakers haven't established a climate policy, California is moving ahead with a market-based greenhouse-gas emission-reduction program as part of a 2006 climate law that voters endorsed in a referendum earlier this month. The election result was helped by a well-funded campaign, supported by Schwarzenegger and a coalition of environmental groups, Hollywood celebrities and clean-technology investors, that linked California's climate law with the state's growing clean-technology industry and green jobs. The message at the Governors' Global Climate Summit was that provincial governments can play a role in the international debate over climate change by setting their own policies and supporting clean-energy industries within their borders.

Meanwhile? in the real world, California is currently borrowing $40M a day to pay for their State's Unemployment. Now notice how this next part, completely Bogus, doesn't show ANY EVIDENCE whatsoever? I guess we are just suppose to accept this.

California continues to experience the effects of climate change such as extremely hot days, which hurt public health and agriculture; rising sea levels, which affect tourism and other coastal industries; and reduced snow pack in the Sierra Nevada mountain range, which affects drinking water supplies, said Linda Adams, California Environmental Protection Agency secretary. She added that protecting the environment and supporting economic growth shouldn't be mutually exclusive, and California aims to protect the environment while driving growth of its clean-technology industries.

OK I'm done. First, Hot days? Called Cycles. Any proof otherwise? Hurt Public Health and Agriculture? How and how does this differ from other hot years? Rising Sea Levels? How much over how long and what is the cause? If it is even accurate. Reduced snow pack in the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range? Again CYCLES. But how much and for how long? Folks, this is all Bunk.

The truth is, Arny has either fallen asleep, or completely sold out. He is out soon anyway, he doesn't really care Moonbeam is back. What is so frustrating about this is that California HAD IT RIGHT. They had the answer right there in front of them. Yet, they would rather Dream the Dream, instead of deal with Reality. There is a lot of Money, Power, and Control, that comes with the whole Green Scam. Maybe the Temptation was just too great. I don't know.

But I do know this. WE, as a Country, have the answer to OUR Economic problems. We have an answer to AFFORDABLE Energy. We KNOW it works. We KNOW we SHOULD be doing it. IT is commonsense, and logical. It is the INTELLIGENT solution. We are paying for California to Dream Green. Who is going to pay for US? We are already heading down the one way street known as Debt Ally. We can not afford to continue to Dream Idiotic Dreams. We need to wake up, and DO the right thing.
