Michelle Obama At The Convention

What an absolute joke.

Hey folks,

They think you are stupid again. What a pile of bunk this appearance of Michelle Obama was. I love the way it is being reported also. The AP reports it this way. AP - Michelle Obama shows her husband's personal side By CHRISTOPHER WILLS, Associated Press Writer 47 minutes ago

Michelle Obama declared "I love this country" Monday as she sought to reassure the nation that she and her husband Barack share Americans' bedrock values and belief in a dream of a better future.

Yeah but they don't they want to run America, but rule America. As a matter of fact, not just America. She said they would "fight for the world as it should be." So she wants to CHANGE it. She doesn't like it the way it is. As it should be sounds more consistent with her "First time in my Adult life I'm proud of this country." comment. The "America today is a down right mean country." comment.

The AFP put it this way.

"I stand here today at the cross-currents of that history, knowing that my piece of the American Dream is a blessing hard won by those who came before me," said the aspiring first lady.

And she paid a pointed tribute to Hillary Clinton as rumors rumbled of discord between the two camps as the convention opened.

She lauded "people like Hillary Clinton, who put those 18 million cracks in the glass ceiling, so that our daughters, and sons can dream a little bigger and aim a little higher."

Did she count them? I understand what she was saying, but we already know that the Obamas and the Clintons are like the Hatfields and McCoys. Especially since they did not even bother to give the appearance of vetting Hillary.

The AFP got this one right too.

As Stevie Wonder's "Isn't She Lovely" rang out after the speech, daughters Sasha and Malia blew kisses from the stage over a satellite link to their Dad, in a finely-crafted moment of political imagery, as Obama's campaign attempted to flesh out his life story.

Yes. It was a finely crafted moment of political imagery.

"I love you Daddy," Sasha, seven, said at the climax of the convention 's first night, watched by thousands of Democratic activists in a Denver arena, and a target audience of millions of television viewers at home.

A finely crafted moment of political imagery is all Obama is. Without the teleprompters and pre written speeches, he is an idiot. He doesn't seem to be able to talk and think at the same time. An empty suit, a figurehead, is all he is. Back to changing not only America, but the entire World.

Michelle , 44, said she and her husband, were driven by a "simple belief" that the "world as it is just won't do."

"That is the thread that connects our hearts.

"That is the thread that runs through my journey and Barack's journey and so many other improbable journeys that have brought us here tonight, where the current of history meets this new tide of hope."

"That is why I love this country."

Folks, what an absolute crock this whole thing was. Seriously. Talk about an extreme makeover. Michelle Obama does not love this country. If you love something, you can not get enough of it. You want it all the time. You NEVER want to lose it. Whatever it is. If you love something, you do NOT want to change it. Her own words and actions tell us that she doesn't love this country. They tell us the opposite. One night in a finely crafted moment of political imagery is not going to change that fact.

This is what you should expect to see though, until the Convention is over. Tributes to all the LWL members. Political imagery, flash, yet know substance whatsoever. A show. Nothing more, nothing less. With the some in the Media puffing this whole thing up to being one of the greatest moments in history. What a joke.
