Brainwashing You To Think Green

More GWBS I Told You So

Hey folks,

This is going to go way long, but it is needed. I have been giving you all the FACTS about this complete and utter scam called Man-Made Global Warming now for years. I have highlighted what "Climate Change" really is. Natural cycles. Nothing more, nothing less. I have point out the fact that more and more scientists are coming out and telling you that it is a scam. That there is no real science in it. It's Scaryence. "Scare Science." Doom and gloom. So they came up with a plan.

Let's get in the OPNTalk Blog Time Machine, the Oon. Ready? Hit the buttons, watch the lights, lets go back in time to March 24, 2008. OK, let's get out. Oh, nice day. Anyway, I posted this. OPNTalk - Chicken Little Crowd To Attempt To Brainwash More Americans

There just is not enough people out there that are ignorant enough to just accept what they say, in the growing evidence to the contrary. There just are to many Scientist coming out AGAINST the Hoax that is "Global Warming."

So they are left with no choice. This new group, ordained by Father Al himself, are going to do whatever it takes to "convince you" that you are evil and that YOU are killing the planet. They are ready to spend over a hundred million dollars to do it. {Laughing} $100 million folks.

"We've come up against a brick wall with Americans," says Lee Bodner, executive director of ecoAmerica, an environmental group based in Washington, D.C. Despite Americans' widespread familiarity with global warming, "only a small group are changing their behavior."

There's little research on how to lower people's energy use, but early evidence suggests that many people will change if:

• They think others similar to themselves are jumping on the "green" bandwagon.

• They get frequent positive feedback for effort.

• They feel able to make a difference by taking concrete steps.

• They think their children will be harmed by global warming, or children encourage the family to lead a greener life.

This is to good folks. They are TELLING the rest in the movement. Here are the talking points. Read this again. "You have to convince people that they are not just sheeple. That everyone is doing it, so they should too. Make sure you give them a pat on the back when they do. Make them feel that they are now a good person. That they matter. That they are heroes for doing this. They also have to "believe" that THEY can solve it. Don't be going around telling them that there is no hope. Make sure they know 'we can do it.' If all else fails, tell them their kids are going to DIE. That they will blame them for not doing anything about it. Scare them into submission if need be."

What if the people ask for proof? "Just tell them that all the Scientist agree that it is real, and they are smarter then them, so they need just accept it. Any Scientists that say it's not real are just kooks, or bought off by big oil."

This is the very definition of Scaryence. Scare Science. "Don't forget, if all else fails, the KIDS. Bring up the kids."

OK, jump back in. Strap up, hit the buttons, watch the lights, HERE we go. Jumping ahead to April 18, 2008. Are we there yet? Lets see. Yup. OK get out. See that I posted this. OPNTalk - You Can't Make This Stuff Up 041808

Now It's Certifiable

As you know I have been doing an on going series talking about the Hoax, Scam, just plain Bunk, that is Global Warming. Just Tuesday April 8, 08 I said this.

"For years they, the Chicken Little Crowd, have been doing their very best to create mass hysteria."

OK. Hold on a second. I need to reiterate something here. Do I really believe that they are purposely attempting to create mass hysteria? YES! Why? The answer is really simple. If they do, which they really have succeeded in some areas, then people will not only be scared enough to do ANYTHING, but they will be scared enough to attempt to get others to do the same. In other words, family, friends, co-workers, ETC. will all be attempting to force their fears on each other. They will attempt to lean on one another in this time of doom and gloom. They have even CREATED a mental disorder that can be CURED for those that accept the hysteria that they CREATED. Back to the post.

"They have succeeded to a certain degree. Many people have just become Sheeple that accept the Scaryence as real science. The just accept the fact that this is happening, and that they are to blame. But not enough of you are accepting it. The "cause" has stalled. More and more REAL Scientists are coming out, using real science to debunk the hoax. More and more people are actually starting to listen to the FACTS and deciding that it makes no sense whatsoever. They are starting to question it. Well, they can't have THAT. Why? Because they can't win an intelligent fact and science based argument. They can not win because there is NO real Science in it. There are no PROVABLE facts to back up what they say.

Al Gore has been telling us we only have ten years left for about 15 years. All the predictions are completely wrong, every time the give them. More frequent and severe storms. {Hurricanes} Well, the last two years? Warmer and dryer winters. Well, this year? Fake pictures, fake facts, and fake {Or bought and paid for} Scientist to try to convince you that in the face of REALITY, FACTS, and SCIENCE, Man-made Global Warming is real. "

Things have gotten so bad, a new kind of therapy has sprouted up to keep people from going nuts over the environment.

It’s called "eco-therapy" or "eco-psychology." The time on the couch isn’t spent delving into a patient's childhood to find the source of misery. Instead, it looks at how much time a person spends in nature, the person's carbon footprint and what the individual is doing to save the planet.

And the prescribed treatment may be as simple as a dose of recycling or — you guessed it — hugging a tree.

{Sigh, Laughing} Hugging a tree folks.

If this was not so serious, it would be hysterical. People are actually getting so scared that they are willing to DO anything. Give more and more of their money away, to save the planet. Give more and more of their freedoms away, to save the planet. Now they have a outlet for their anxiety. Hugging a tree. Making it right with what they are guilty of destroying.

OK back to the Oon. We have to get back to 081708. After all, it is my Birthday. Hit the buttons, watch the lights, here we go. WAIT!!!!!!!! Not quite 081708. Lets stop on Thursday 081408, and see whats in the News.

OH? Look at this. According to the USA Today, again,USA Today - Psychologists determine what it means to think 'green' By Sharon Jayson, USA TODAY

Those who make human behavior their business aim to make living "green" your business.

All about money, power, and control, folks.

Armed with new research into what makes some people environmentally conscious and others less so, the 148,000-member American Psychological Association is stepping up efforts to foster a broader sense of eco-sensitivity that the group believes will translate into more public action to protect the planet.

{Laughing} MORE MONEY. Brainwashing you into giving MORE MONEY and MORE power and control over your private lives. They are coming right out and telling you.

"We know how to change behavior and attitudes. That is what we do," says Yale University psychologist Alan Kazdin, association president. "We know what messages will work and what will not."

During a four-day meeting that begins today in Boston, an expected 16,000 attendees will hear presentations, including studies that explore how people experience the environment, their attitudes about climate change and what social barriers prevent conservation of resources.

Among the yet-unpublished findings:

Walking outside rather than inside — even for just 15 minutes — makes you feel happier, more energetic and more protective of the environment, found two studies involving 220 students conducted by psychologists at Carleton University in Ottawa. Researcher Elizabeth Nisbet suggests the findings have broader implications for well-being and mental health.

GREEN LIVING: Doing right thing isn't easy, even for those who want to
GOING GREEN: Find your eco-score, check home's efficiency and see latest environmental news

ECO-FRIENDLY UNIVERSITIES: Colleges teach a new three R's: reduce, reuse, recycle

"People know outside is going to feel much better for them but underpredict how happy they're going to feel after being outside in nature even 15 minutes," she says. "The people inside overestimate their happiness about being inside. It's this error in judgment people have about how happy they are in a different environment that may explain why people don't spend more time in nature."

So go hug a tree.

Behind the research

Negative feedback can backfire. In two studies, psychologist Amara Brook of California's Santa Clara University and colleague Jennifer Crocker of the University of Michigan asked 212 undergraduates about their ecological footprint. For those not heavily invested in the environment, negative feedback about their ecological footprint actually undermines their environmental behavior, they found.

"Rather than changing their ways to protect the environment, the results of this study suggest that these (people) may give up on their efforts to protect the environment," they report.

But negative feedback for those more invested in the environment promotes more sustainable behavior, they found.

News stories that provided a balanced view of climate change reduced people's beliefs that humans are at fault and also reduced the number of people who thought climate change would be bad, according to research by Stanford social psychologist Jon Krosnick.

His presentation will detail a decade of American attitudes about climate change. His new experiment, conducted in May, illustrates what he says is a public misperception about global warming. He says there is scientific consensus among experts that climate change is occurring, but the nationwide online poll of 2,600 adults asked whether they believe scientists agree or disagree about it.

THERE IS NO CONSENSUS! NONE! Well, wait a second. OK. There REALLY is a consensus that there is climate change. The climate is ALWAYS changing. So that is true. However, there is NO SCENITIFC CONSENSUS that Man-Made Global Warming even exists.

By editing CNN and PBS news stories so that some saw a skeptic included in the report, others saw a story in which the skeptic was edited out and another group saw no video, Krosnick found that adding 45 seconds of a skeptic to one news story caused 11% of Americans to shift their opinions about the scientific consensus. Rather than 58% believing a perceived scientific agreement, inclusion of the skeptic caused the perceived amount of agreement to drop to 47%.

Are you paying attention? Do you get the point? They have just found that when people hear the TRUTH, they are less likely to believe the LIE. WHY do you think Al Gore and the other GWBS peddlers out there do not want to debate the issue? Why do you think they SAY there is a scientific consensus, so it is settled? Just accept it?

American Psychological Association leaders say they want to launch a national initiative specifically targeting behavior changes, including developing media messages that will help people reduce their carbon footprint and pay more attention to ways they can conserve. They want to work with other organizations and enlist congressional support to help fund the effort.

Along with SILECING their opposition. You know, REAL Scientist with REAL Science. They just told you that if people hear the truth that GW IS BS, they lose Sheeple. They lose people from their little fold.

A USA TODAY/Gallup Poll last year found that people know they could do more. Of 1,007 adults surveyed, only about half thought they personally did a good job of protecting the environment; less than 10% said their efforts were "excellent."

Messages that tell people to "be green" or encourage them to follow a more ecologically aware way of living aren't necessarily having the desired effect, psychologists say. Although people know the buzzwords — "sustainability," "carbon footprint" and "global warming" — they aren't really sure what they mean or what they personally can do.

Or if it is real. Which it is not.

Confusion abounds

"I think most people recognize we face a severe environmental crisis, but it's hard to deal with that head-on because most people feel helpless to do anything about it," says Douglas Vakoch, a clinical psychologist at the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco.

REMEMBER THE TALKING POINTS.

"If we look at the nature of the problem, it is so big it's hard to know what any individual can do in their own life to make a difference," he says. "The tendency when people are confronted with an overwhelming problem is to run away from it, so psychologists are very experienced in dealing with that."

Paul Stern, a researcher at the National Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C., says people generally want to do the right thing but don't know what it is. And he says they have "mistaken impressions" about what will actually affect energy use.

At the meeting, Stern will present a preview of a report he co-authored that outlines the behaviors that matter most in terms of energy consumption. The report, which will appear in the September/October issue of Environment magazine, is the latest update of a list initially analyzed in 1981.

"One of the first things you think of is turning off lights when you leave a room or changing the thermostat settings in the house. They don't think first of caulking windows or upgrading your furnace," Stern says. "More insulation in the attic and tight windows make more difference than changing the thermostat setting. Having a more fuel-efficient car makes more difference than any amount you're likely to decrease driving."

Because Stern's research was on energy use, he didn't look at recycling. Social psychologist Jessica Nolan studied the issue at the University of Arkansas-Fayetteville.

Nolan, who this fall will be an assistant professor of psychology at the University of Scranton in Pennsylvania, examined global warming, recycling and improper disposal of used motor oil with three studies involving a total of 289 students.

She found that students are not particularly inclined to disapprove of the non-sustainable behavior of others.

"People showed strong approval for other students who recycled. You would hope to see people disapprove of people who don't recycle, but they didn't disapprove," she says.

The Cool Factor. How can we make it cool for our young people to force others to fall in line. The hip thing is most definitely a factor in the whole brainwashing technique.

But, she says, the response was stronger if the activity was perceived as more harmful: More students said they would scold someone if they saw that person improperly disposing of motor oil.

Vakoch says more research is needed to encourage greater sensitivity to the natural world.

WE NEED TO BRAINWASH PEOPLE into accepting GWBS in the face of all kinds of facts to the contrary. Like we haven't warmed since 98. There are less 90 plus days this year in the Summer than in the last 20 years. The Ice is not melting as expected. The Waters are cooling. No major storms lurking. ETC. We need to get them to buy this garbage anyway.

"We are recognizing that environmental problems have a tremendous impact on many aspects of our lives, but we need a lot more work," he says. "We can't afford to let this increased environmental concern become just another fashionable trend."

Ah yes. But if there were actually SCIENCE to back up your claim. You could sit people down and tell them ABC. then PROVE ABC. Tell people that we are destroying the planet and here is how we can fix it. Nearly, if not EVERYONE would be on board.

But that is not what we have here. What we have here is a bunch of nonsense. Take one of my favorite bits of stupidity, Carbon Credits. Let's say Father Gore is right. We have ten years starting, well, let's say RIGHT NOW. So I fly around in my private jets, drive my Hummers, and increase my electric use by ten percent. But it's OK. Why? because I BOUGHT the RIGHT to say, I'm carbon free. Folks, if GW was anything more than BS, Carbon Credits would speed up the process. More people that can afford it, would simply buy more credits and use more energy. It would not apply to them. While you, who may not be able to afford it, will live in a tent and eat bread and butter until the end of the world. Carbon Credits would not solve anything but padding the pockets of Al Gore.

Then you have the complete and utter bunk that CO2 is a pollutant now. Do you even know what that is? Pollution is the introduction of contaminants into an environment, of whatever predetermined or agreed upon proportions or frame of reference. These contaminants cause instability, disorder, harm or discomfort to the physical systems or living organisms therein. So what is CO2? CO2 is a colorless, odorless, non-poisonous gas that is a normal part of the ambient air, necessary for plant life. We exhale it. Plants take it in. Plants produce Oxygen. So by the very definition of what a Pollutant is, CO2 is not. It is NOT introduced into nature. It IS nature.

But do not let the facts stand in the way of being Brainwashed into thinking you are killing the planet. Give over your lives to Father Gore and the Church of Global Warming if you want to. Look at the facts, the TRUTH, and the REAL Science, then look at what they are TELLING you they are doing. Using Psychology to Brainwash you into thinking Green, and go with that. Sorry, I think I will deal with reality. Reality says, GW is BS.

whoa...scary how you can be such a wingnut. I mean I am sure you believe what you write, but come on. God bless America. And you wonder why the rest of the world thinks badly of Americans...
