Dems Not Having A Good Time

Hey folks

The promises were made. The guarantees given, NOTHING accomplished. The LWL {Left Wing Looney} in the Leadership position of the Democrat Party is not having a good time. They continuously fail at all they are attempting to do, except one. They are wasting a lot of time while attempting to appear to be doing things.

However, in all they do, they continue to show you EXACTLY who and what they are. If the consequences were not so dire, it would be funny. But if they were to actually accoplish what they want, we would have a Socialist Society.

Here is the latest. First, did you notice that anytime Sen. Charles Schumer on the radio or TV yesterday, he kept calling President Bush, "George Bush." He would not call him President. This is simple to explain. They do not respect the Office. They attempt to embarrass him any chance they get. They attempt to over ride him. Make him of no effect. They think they have total control. They WANT total control. The only one person that has more power than them? President Bush. Besides all that, they HATE him personally. Even when he is on THEIR side.

The latest example of them failing is the whole Gonzales, pointless, show, non-binding vote. According to AP-GOP blocks Gonzales no-confidence vote By LAURIE KELLMAN, Associated Press Writer

Republicans blocked a Senate no-confidence vote on Attorney General Alberto Gonzales Monday, rejecting a symbolic Democratic effort to force him from office amid blistering criticism from lawmakers in both parties.

The 53-38 vote to move the resolution to full debate fell seven short of the 60 required. In bringing the matter up, Democrats dared Republicans to vote their true feelings about an attorney general who has alienated even the White House's strongest defenders by bungling the firings of

federal prosecutors and claiming not to recall the details.

THERE WAS NO CRIME! He did nothing wrong. He could fire all of them if he had wanted to. You know, like Clinton did?

Short of impeachment, Congress has no authority to oust a Cabinet member, but Democrats were trying anew to give him a push. Gonzales dismissed the rhetorical ruckus on Capitol Hill, and President Bush continued to stand by his longtime friend and legal adviser.

What did President Bush think about all this?

"They can have their votes of no confidence, but it's not going to make the determination about who serves in my government," Bush said in Sofia, Bulgaria, the last stop on a week long visit to Europe.

"This process has been drug out a long time," Bush added. "It's political."

Gonzales?

The attorney general said he was paying no attention to the rhetoric on Capitol Hill and didn't plan on leaving anytime soon.

"I am focused on the next 18 months and sprinting to the finish line," Gonzales said ad he met Monday with child advocates in an impoverished Mobile, Ala., neighborhood.

This should give you a clue as to what this is TRULY all about.

Even before the controversy over fired prosecutors, lawmakers of both parties complained that Gonzales allowed Justice to violate civil liberties on a host of other issues — such as implementing Bush's warrantless wiretapping program.

They know they cannot "get Bush" so taking out his cabinet members is the next best thing in their eyes. Sen Chuck Scammer {Schumer} believed that they would pass this vote.

"If senators cast their vote with their conscience, they would speak with near unanimity that there is no confidence in the attorney general," said Schumer. "Their united voice would undoubtedly dislodge the attorney general from the post that he should no longer hold."

Get this, according to Traitor Ried?

"He deserves to be fired," said Senate Majority leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.

You deserve it more. One more time. No crime with the firings. Reid? Treason and corruption. I love Sen Lott’s comment.

"This is a nonbinding, irrelevant resolution proving what? Nothing," said Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss. "Maybe we should be considering a vote of no confidence on the Senate or on the Congress for malfunction and an inability to produce anything."

{Laughing} It’s true. Here is something you will not hear in the MMD Traitor Reid has an approval rating of 19. They American people have spoken? According to Rasmussen Reports -Harry Reid's favorables fall to 19%

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid is now viewed favorably by 19% of American voters and unfavorably by 45%. Just 3% have a Very Favorable opinion while 22% hold a Very Unfavorable views.

Reid has been very visible over the past week in the furor over immigration reform. The effort to pass a bill that was more popular in Congress than among voters may have hurt public perceptions of the Democratic leader. His ratings are down from a month ago when 26% had a favorable opinion of the Democratic Senator. Reid's highest ratings were 30% favorable in February.

Imagine if President Bush got a rating of 19 percent. Front page and lead story of ALL news outlets. Traitor Reid? I doubt you will see this. Congress in general has an approval rating less then the President. This should tell you that they are COMPLETELY out of touch with what Americans want. Regardless of what they tell you.

Now they keep saying even Republicans want him out. Who voted in this waste of time?

Seven Republicans voted for the no-confidence resolution, including four senators who had called for a new attorney general: Sens. John Sununu of New Hampshire, Gordon Smith of Oregon, Chuck Hagel of Nebraska and Norm Coleman of Minnesota. Joining them were Specter and Maine Republicans Olympia Snowe and Collins.

I got news for you these are Republicans in name ONLY so this type of thing can be called "bipartisan." They do not stand for Republican values nor should anyone vote for them assuming they do. Ever in the future.

The truth of the matter is simple. They cannot get anything done, because what they want to do is insane, and really amounts to nothing.
