Alternative Fuel Is Here Already

Hey folks,

Happy hump day. Now I have been talking about the dangers of our dependence of foreign oil. With all this chaos in the middle east, Little Hitler’s attempted rise to power and control ALL of it, we need to seriously think about freeing ourselves from this dependancy.

Now I know you say we have been working on it. I understand. I have done a whole series of articles about AFVs and Afs themselves. All the way back to May of 06 I have been talking about this here. But remember what I said?

But of course I’m sure someone, somewhere, will find a way to keep costs regulated, and find a way that you will have to pay for a process. But in the long run, this is GREAT news. Now these folks just have to get by Big Oil, the Government {Hugh Tax loss with doing away with Gasoline}, The Service Station Industry, Politicians who are invested in Oil. You know, Like Al Gore? And all the others out there attempting to cash in on AF. Good luck.

This statement was made by me on May 20, 2007 H. S. New Fuel To Look For. I was talking about this new aluminum pellet and hydrogen possibility. Well, looky looky here. {Smile}AP -Lobbies stymie action on energy By H. JOSEF HEBERT, Associated Press Writer

Three powerful lobbying forces — automakers, electric utilities and the coal industry — are confounding Democrats' efforts to forge a less-polluting energy policy.

Disputes over automobile fuel economy, use of coal as a motor fuel, and requirements for utilities to use more wind or biomass to generate electricity have threatened to stall energy legislation in both the Senate and House.

The issues have been the focus of intense lobbying by the coal industry, electric utilities heavily dependent on coal, and by automobile manufacturers trying to block new fuel economy requirements from Washington and in a dozen states.

Like the whole Global Warming bunk, this is also all about power and money.

In an effort to move ahead with an energy bill in the House, Rep. John Dingell D-Mich., said Monday he is dropping a provision to boost auto fuel economy from a draft bill, along with incentives for the development of liquefied coal as a motor fuel.

Liguefied coal? How about WATER. What about solar? I’ve talked about this before also. You know that you can actually live completely off the grid in you house. The technology is there. Not too many people know how to use it, the cost is pretty high to get started, but it’s possible. If more and more people work on that, AFVs, and AF itself, both the cost will go down, and the availability will increase.

He said he also was jettisoning proposals that would have blocked California and 11 other states from cutting greenhouse gas emissions from automobiles, measures that had attracted the ire of House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.

He was postponing consideration of these issues as part of climate change legislation next fall "so we can rapidly complete work on a bipartisan (energy) bill," Dingell said in a memo to members of his Energy and Commerce Committee.

The action brought a tepid response from Pelosi, who had been at loggerheads with Dingell, a staunch supporter of the auto industry, over the coal issue and attempts to stop California's efforts on global warming.

"The Speaker has made no decision at this time" on whether to support Dingell's revised bill, said Pelosi spokesman Drew Hammill, adding that she and Dingell were still discussing what direction energy legislation should take.

Unless agreements can be worked out in the coming days, hopes by Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (news, bio, voting record), D-Nev., and Pelosi to produce an energy bill before Independence Day may be dashed.

{Laughing} More stuff they cannot get done. A lot of the Republicans do not want it done, a lot of Democrats do not want it done, regardless of what they SAY about it. Too many people with too much money to lose in the long run.

You know it’s a lot like Al Gore and other running, make that FLYING around the world, driving big SUVs and living in houses that could fit two of three of your's in them, telling you, YOU have to cut back because YOU are destroying the planet. {Sigh}

Truth is folks, alternative fuel is ALREADY here. We had Hydrogen powered vehicles since like what, the 30s? We have the Sun, wind, corn, water, air, lighting, and some other ideas that may or may not be possible. Point is, we COULD be energy independent TOMORROW. Relatively speaking. But as I said before about all these people that have the knowledge, they just have to get by Big Oil, the Government {Hugh Tax loss with doing away with Gasoline}, The Service Station Industry, Politicians who are invested in Oil. You know, Like Al Gore? And all the others out there attempting to cash in on AF. Good luck.
