Iraqi Troops Supported, Sad American Troops Not

Hey folks,

I do not know about you, but I’m tired of the Traitors in our Government {Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, and some others} playing politics with our troops lives. I’m tired of the quest of their to lose the war. To surrender to the enemy. I’m tired of them doing NOTHING. I guess in a way, I’m happy they have done nothing, because what they want to do, will damage this country, cost me and you more money than ever before {Taxes}. End free speech. Change the very way this country is. They would also remove any chance of us, Americans, from removing them from power. They would create a tyranny. If the were able to do what they wanted.

But let’s talk about the troops. Our brave men and women in the war. That volunteered to go there fight and die for THEM as well as us. Now they have a right to free speech, just like anyone else. They have played games and made political statements. Fine. Then they had another opportunity to support the troops. They failed to a second time. Now? Well, according to the BBC, at lease the Iraqi troops are being supported. BBC -First steps to arming Iraq's soldiers

Providing the army with new weapons is an important part of the plan to modernise Iraq's security services and make them self-sufficient. The BBC's James Shaw went to the US army's Camp Taji, near Baghdad, to see one Iraqi squad receive their new M16 rifles.

The convoy of four armoured Humvees and two black 4x4s rumbles down the highway heading north out of Baghdad.

Blue lights flash, sirens wail, the soldiers manning the turrets on top of the Humvees swing their machine-guns from side to side.

Get this.

So far, fewer than 2,000 have been given M16s. The official strength of the Iraqi Army at the moment is more than 143,000.

The man in charge of re-arming the Iraqi soldiers is US Army Lieutenant Colonel Don Easter.

"We're looking at the entire Iraqi Army," he says.

"We're looking at a process that's going to take well beyond a year, and could be upward of two years, depending on if there are any pauses in the process throughout this time."

It is a mammoth task, but in itself only a small piece of the effort to modernise Iraq's security forces and make them self-sufficient.

And all this takes no account of the fact that pressure is mounting on President Bush to end the US involvement in Iraq.

That might mean disengagement from the country before this and many other programmes have been completed.

That’s right folks. WE are arming the Iraqis. We are trying to get them to a point where they can stand on their own, which would mean, we LEAVE. Job completed . You know, what they, LWL WANT. The Looneys want us out. But they want us out BEFORE the job is done. They want us to lose. They want to create a failure there so they can blame Bush. It’s truly sad that OUR own men a women, are NOT being supported by their own government. Insead of supporting the troops. We get stories like this one. According to the AP -Pelosi says Bush has 'tin ear' on Iraq

President Bush has a "tin ear" when it comes to Iraq and should compromise with majority Democrats on a war spending bill with a timetable for U.S. troops to leave, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said.

With hopes of getting a new bill to President Bush before the Memorial Day weekend, Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell said Sunday that Republicans "don't want a retreat date in there, a surrender date."

Noone but the Traitors Do. The President will not sign ANY bill that does.

The White House and Congress failed to come up with a deal last week after exchanging offers and Bush's chief of staff said after a Capitol Hill meeting Friday that "timelines for withdrawal are just not the right way to go.

McConnell spoke of the need for legislation that would pass both the House and Senate, where Democrats hold a slimmer edge. He mentioned a proposal advanced by Sen. John Warner, R-Va., and other Republicans that would set standards for the Iraqi government to meet and condition reconstruction funds on progress toward achieving the goals.

"It's what can pass the Senate," McConnell said.

To Pelosi, however, "This is too little, too late. This would have been an appropriate measure maybe three or four years ago. But the accountability is very meager in the bill," she said in an interview broadcast Sunday.

The public wants accountability, said Pelosi, D-Calif., and "that is where the president refuses to listen. We've worked in a bipartisan way with the president on trade, on immigration, on our innovation agenda, on many issues. But when it comes to the war in Iraq, the president has a tin ear. He just cannot hear, except that which he wants to hear on it."

You are a Twit Traitor Pelosi.. YOU, Reid, Murtha, and the like ARE ACCOUNTABLE for using Soldiers lives for political gain. YOU are accountable for not supporting the Troops. YOU are guilty of TREASON. You should be removed from office. Period. The only thing that keeps you, Reid {who has declared the war lost already} and others in office, is the fact that there seems to be no Republican, Democrat, or Moderate, with enough moral strength to stand up and call for you to step down or be removed. You need to be investigated, and charged when and where needed. The blood of our men and women, sons and daughters, is on YOUR hands. SUPPORT the Troops already!

Asked whether Congress would send the White House another spending bill with a timeline, she said, "We're working on what we do now."

"One thing is for sure: By the time we leave here to honor our war veterans and those who have given their lives for our country on Memorial Day weekend, we will have legislation to fund the troops," Pelosi said.

Not if you put timetables in. This is getting old REALLY fast. You are either too ignorant to see what you are doing, to blind by your hatred for Bush, or worse yet, are doing this on purpose, with full knowledge.

Listen to the American people. Listen to The Troops. Listen to Sen McConnell.

"I do have the votes to uphold the veto. We need to stay away from a surrender date," McConnell said.

"Look, we need to have a compromise if we want to get the job done before Memorial Day. We know how to get there. It's to take out the surrender date. Any kind of reasonable benchmarks on the Iraqi government I think are going to have broad bipartisan support. That's clearly the way to get there," McConnell said.

It’s been 104 days without funds to support the Troops. This is YOUR fault. YOU are to blame. Not the President. Not the Troops, Not the American people. YOUR fault. Stop playing childish games with the lives of our Troops and fund them. You people really make me sick. You are completely disgusting. You are completely incompetent. You are committing Treason. It IS just that simple.
