Don’t Forget Little Hitler

Hey folks,

Another thing I have been talking to you about long before most started paying attention. Little Hitler, President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad . There has been a lot of "talks" lately and it has even been reported that progress has been made. Well, According to Reuters-More sanctions won't stop nuclear work: Iran, that was just released.

Iran's president on Saturday told major powers considering United Nations sanctions they could "issue resolutions until you get tired," making clear the country would press ahead with its disputed nuclear program.

But amidst a deepening standoff between Tehran and the West, Iran's foreign minister reportedly welcomed a Swiss proposal for talks on Tehran's atomic ambitions, even though the country has repeatedly rejected demands it halt uranium enrichment.

The West suspects Iran of pursuing atomic weapons but Tehran says it wants only to generate electricity so it can export more of its oil and gas. Two sets of U.N. sanctions have been imposed since December and major powers this week warned a third may be needed if Tehran does not halt its activities.

"They want to stop (Iran's atomic plans) with continuous resolutions," President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said in a speech to university students in the southeastern province of Kerman.

"I tell them: issue resolutions until you get tired," he said according to the ISNA news agency.

Analysts say the measures, including arms and financial sanctions, are hurting business and deterring foreign investment in the Islamic state, which despite its oil wealth is struggling with inflation and unemployment.

What does Little Hitler say?

"They have some people inside as well who are trying to weaken what we say and violate the market with their money so that they will be able to say these resolutions have negative impacts, while it is not true," he said.

He doesn’t care about his people. This is the same guy that said he would give up half his country to wipe Israel off the map. "Talks" are going to work? No. You want to know how deranged this guy really is. Get this, from The New York Times yesterday, NYT -In Iran, Tactics of Fashion Police Raise Concerns, by NAZILA FATHI

Still, he said 150 women a day had been taken to detention centers as the crackdown began.

150 women a DAY.

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad has backed the campaign, saying, "Those who have indecent appearances are sent by the enemy."

OK. He is completely nuts. Is there any hope from with in? According to The Guardian -Inside the struggle for Iran, by Simon Tisdall in Tehran.

A grand coalition of anti-government forces is planning a second Iranian revolution via the ballot box to deny President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad another term in office and break the grip of what they call the "militia state" on public life and personal freedom.

Encouraged by recent successes in local elections, opposition factions, democracy activists, and pro-reform clerics say they will bring together progressive parties loyal to former president Mohammad Khatami with so-called pragmatic conservatives led by Ayatollah Hashemi Rafsanjani.

Remember that? After the elections there were chants by the newly elected officials "Death to America." Remember that? That really changed things. Remember the student protests? Where are they now? Noone has bothered to do any follow ups.

According to Mohammad Atrianfar, a leading opposition figure with ties to Mr Rafsanjani, the former president now emerging as a likely future kingmaker in Iran.

"The past two years have been a very bitter time for Iran, Ahmadinejad has done everything upside down - politics, economy, foreign policy - putting all our achievements at risk. He has done a lot of damage at home and abroad."

Not everybody is so sure that this will work.

"They are playing with fire. Nobody wants to take responsibility for this. It's going to blow up in their faces," said Hussein Dirbaz, a resident of Narmak, the Tehran suburb where Mr Ahmadinejad was brought up.

Of course they are. Little Hitler is willing to arrest and send150 women a day to detention centers for the way they dress. They cannot seem to stop that. Do they really think that they will be able to overthrow him in his quest for world domination?

I know that in today’s world people are so focused on Iraq, and their own agendas, they do not even want to think about Iran. They do not want to face the reality of this growing threat. I would be willing to bet, Little Hitler is counting on that.
