LWL Leader Reid and Loyal Hack Feingold, Want To Leave Troops Stranded.

It is official. No doubt about it now. LWL {Left Wing Looneys} Leader, and Traitor, Harry Ried wants to leave our troops on the battlefield without food, equipment, or anything else they need in the middle of a war. He is essence, wants to turn our troops over to the enemy. He wants America to lose this war.

According to the AP -Reid may move to cut Iraq war funds by ANNE FLAHERTY, Associated Press Writer

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said Monday he wants to cut off money for the Iraq war next year, making clear for the first time that Democrats are willing to pull out all the stops to end U.S. involvement.

There is a reason for this increased push now. More on that in a bit.

Reid's new strategy faces an uphill battle because many of his colleagues see yanking funds as a dangerous last resort. The proposal increases the stakes on the debate and marks a new era for the Democratic leadership once reluctant to talk about Congress' power of the purse.

"In the face of the administration's stubborn unwillingness to change course, the Senate has no choice but to force a change of course," said Sen. John Kerry, D-Mass., who signed on Monday as a co-sponsor of Reid's proposal with Sen. Russ Feingold, D-Wis.

They HAVE changed course you moron. The surge is WORKING. This country, the administration, and the President himself, are not gutless cowards as you are. But that’s not the reason for the push.

The move is likely to intensify the Democrats' rift with the administration, which already contends Democrats are putting troops at risk by setting deadlines.

"It's time the self-appointed strategists on Capitol Hill understood a very simple concept: You cannot win a war if you tell the enemy you're going to quit," Vice President Dick Cheney said Monday at fundraising luncheon for Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala.

Of course it will be vetoed. So Reid said,

"If the president vetoes the supplemental appropriations bill and continues to resist changing course in Iraq, I will work to ensure this legislation receives a vote in the Senate in the next work period," Reid said in a statement.


So no food, weapons, ammo, anything. Then tell the enemy, "This is the day you will be able to take our troops." There is NO other explanation. That is a TRAITOR.

Fox news was reporting this last night. They report,

The legislation by Majority Leader Harry Reid and Wisconsin Senitor Russ Feingold is the "next step" in the Iraq debate, a spokesman for Feingold told FOX News on Monday. The new legislation essentially gives a hard deadline to language passed by the Senate last week in a supplemental war spending bill.

The supplemental war spending bill listed March 31, 2008, as a suggested goal for withdrawing all U.S. combat troops from Iraq. The new legislation would reinforce that date by preventing funding for the mission after that deadline.

"No funds appropriated or otherwise made available under any provision of law may be obligated or expended to continue the deployment in Iraq of members of the United States Armed Forces after March 31, 2008," reads the measure.

Now I know that this will most likely go nowhere. The last bill passed 50-48. There is no way that all the Senators will want to become a Traitor to their own country. I would hope anyway. But just the idea that they are writing and trying to pass this, shows them for who they are.

"Congress has a responsibility to end a war that is opposed by the American people and is undermining our national security. By ending funding for the president’s failed Iraq policy, our bill requires the president to safely redeploy our troops from Iraq," Feingold said in a written statement.

{Sigh} It’s NOT opposed by the American people, you simpleton. LOSING is. We were not doing good at the time of election. The American people wanted a "new direction." That is what they got with the surge. We are WINING. The surge is WORKING. You, and the rest of your cronies see this. YOU cannot survive politically if we win. Hence, THIS is the reason for the push. Cause our defeat before we DO win.

Then you have Newsmax.com reporting,

Vice President Dick Cheney repeated Bush's veto threat on Monday, saying lawmakers setting deadlines for withdrawal were calling for a U.S. "retreat." The effort was pointless, Cheney said, because lawmakers would not be able to muster the two-thirds majority needed to override Bush's veto.

"It's nothing less than an attempt to force the president's hand," Cheney said in prepared remarks at a reception for Alabama Republican Sen. Jeff Sessions. "They're going to find out that they've misread George W. Bush," he declared.

He’s not going to turn over his Commander and Chief title to a bunch of Traitors. Just simply, never going to happen. If they cut the funds. The deaths of the soldiers and any American lives lost after, will be solely on the hands of these Traitors. The President will not quit. Especially now that we are winning.

There is now NO doubt who our new Leaders are, and what they are all about. I said it yesterday, and I repeat it today. These people are Traitors. They should start to be treated as such. God forbid we get a LWL member in the White House in 08, along with keeping the LWL in power in Congress. This country would be doomed. The only thing we could do at that point, is hope theat the damage is not irreversible for sometime in the future.
