Imus Update Number Whatever.

Hey folks,

Just caught this from ABC -Don Imus Loses CBS Job in Stunning Fall

Imus made the remark on April 11, the day after the Rutgers team lost in the national championship game. He met with team members for about three hours at the governor's mansion in Princeton, N.J. Thursday night, but left without commenting to reporters.

C. Vivian Stringer, the team's coach, spoke briefly on the mansion's steps.

"We had a very productive meeting," she said. "We were able to really dialogue. … Hopefully, we can put all of this behind us."

She did not say if the team forgave him for the remarks.

Let’s hope that all involved in this mess CAN actually just move on and put it behind them . I wish Don Imus the best in all things in the future, as well a the team that he had offended.

However, it may be beneficial to keep the dialog going. The dialog on Race, Sex, and of course Free Speech.
Peter

We all owe a great deal of gratitude to Don Imus for giving the television news programs something else to talk about other than Anna Nicole Smith,
who Jesse Jackson for some reason, had nothing to say about.
