Global Warming? Crow should fly away

Hey folks,

Remember when the Virginia Tech shooting first occurred I said this would be the news for the rest of the week. Wekl, it was, and into the Weekend as well. I think it’s about time for the Mass Media to move out of the area, off the Virginia Tech Campus and leave them alone now to allow them to heal in peace. All Weekend and even this morning, this is all the news.

But I did manage to find this report by the AP. It raising more of the same questions that I have been asking and it points out more of the same idiocies that I have been talking about. From my article a while back about the psychological breakdown of the stars, to the non-scientific proof, attempting to indoctrinate {brainwashing} our youth, to the follow the money thing, Global Warming was in the news yesterday. What am I referring to? AP -Crow, David on global warming 'mission' by JOHN HEILPRIN.

Their college tour ended, Sheryl Crow and Laurie David describe their efforts to stop global warming as part of the most important mission of the times.

That's the hope of Grammy-winning rocker Crow and David, who produced "An Inconvenient Truth," the global warming movie that won the Oscar for best documentary.

"It's great to go out and play music, and I love that, too. And it's also nice to make money. But this is not that," Crow said Sunday in an interview. "This is a whole bunch of people dedicating their time, their lives, working for free, for a mission. And it is the most important mission."

I’m waiting to hear "We on a mission from God." from the old Blues Brothers movie. Oh yeah, sorry, I forgot. With these people and the Chicken Little crowd, there is no God. Just mother earth and the fact WE are destroying it. {Sigh}

One, Neither Crow nor David are scientists. Neither is Gore for that matter. The movie bombed. The movie is filled with, uh, let’s just say, falsehoods. Yet, they are traveling around the college world, toting the movie as if it was science and a proven fact. Amazing.

The pair rode a biodiesel bus on a 12-campus tour to raise awareness about global warming by engaging students on the topic. It started earlier this month at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, and was timed to end on Earth Day.

David said "federal inaction is no longer acceptable" and is pressing for Congress to enact a bill to impose mandatory curbs on carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases within two years. She predicted the 2008 election would revolve around three main issues: jobs, terrorism and temperature.

Catchy.

"I just feel like if this isn't addressed by this administration, if this administration isn't hearing this message loud and clear, then I feel like there's an irresponsibility," Crow said.

Yes folks, {Laughing} Global Warming is Bush’s fault. Idiots.

Also speaking at the concert was David's husband, Larry, a comedian and producer best known as co-creator of the TV show "Seinfeld," and environmental advocate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

"Hurricane Katrina is just a taste of what's to come if we don't stop global warming," Kennedy told some 2,000 people who turned out for the songs and speeches.

Crow opened with "A Change Would Do You Good" and did a spirited duet with King on "I Feel The Earth Move." McGraw and Hill also performed.

Can you take this folks. Katrina had NOTHING to do with Global Warming. If that were the case, we would have had a worst season last year. It would not just stop. I’m having a hard time trying to believe that any of you are buying into this garbage. Well, I know you true OPNers are not. You are too intelligent for this nonsense. But there are a lot of sheepeople out there that cannot think for themselves. This is who Crow and David are going after. They are rich and famous, they must know what they are talking about. No, not really. This just means that they know how to follow a script, and sing a song.

Get this arrogance.

Crow and David unsuccessfully tried to change the thinking of Karl Rove, President Bush's top adviser, at a correspondents' dinner Saturday night. "I honestly thought that I was going to change his mind, like, right there and then," David said the interview.

Crow dedicated the closing number of the concert, sang by all the performers, to Rove, wryly calling him her "new friend." The title: "We Can Work It Out," written and made famous by The Beatles.

Yes folks, you read it right. {laughing} Hey, you know, if the "Earth Day" celebration that I attending yesterday was any indication of the number of people buying into the whole Global Warming thing, the Chicken Little crowd is in TROUBLE. There was pretty much noone there.

Happy Monday to you. Hope you all have a great day today. Remember, if a star says something, that just makes it fact. Do not think for yourself. They know more than you. Just accept what they tell you. OK?
Peter
