The MMD Have Given Up Hiding It

Hey folks,

Fresh off my trip to Tallahassee, I come into problems. I lost the entire two articles I have written and attempted to post. Change the password about five times on the sight, and have decided to just post this. Sorry. More on my trip soon, even some pictures on the OPN Photo Blog soon.

The first article was all the talk about Bipartisanship in the government, and the fact that now the Left is running around saying they want to "re-deploy" {The guru word of the day yesterday}. Meanwhile Bush was running around saying that we will not leave until the job is done.

I restated how I hope that Nancy Pelosi was as strong as she believes she is, if indeed she was telling the truth, to keep the LWL in check and work together for a new direction and the betterment of this country. If she is able and honest enough to do this, she will have my full support. I have my doubts though. I’m not sure she will be able to keep those that hate Bush more than anything else, from doing what has been their agenda all along. I again, hope I’m wrong.

But to this article. I have been telling you for the longest time that the MMD were controlled by a guru. I have been telling you that they are completely liberal with an agenda. If you followed ANY of the news in the mass media drones leading up to the election, you KNOW this to be true. There is no doubt. Remember I told you,

"As I’ve said before, I’m sure that there is a mass media drones guru behind the curtain, giving out the word or phrase of the day. Actually, I like that, mass media drones {MMDs} Today the magic word is multiple 500 pound bombs. The guru wants them to use this as much as possible to put the image of a massive, over needed, use of force against a house. Then he wants them to conjure up the imagine that there is some kind of cover up. Then on top of that, make sure that you throw in there, innocent people dying."

I have given many examples. Like their use of "Towel snapping", "Collective Punishment." "Katrina", and my all time favorite, if there was any doubt, it was done away with "Political Jujitsu." September 8,

"Oh and the Guru word of the day seems to be "jujitsu", for those that might have missed that. Over and over again, in various outlets, "jujitsu" seems to be the definition of the President’s announcement. But no, they do not work together."

Then we found out about this. ABC’s "The Note."said,

"The Old Media -- giddy with excitement over the prospect of the Bush-Cheney-Rove-Mehlman machine losing, filled with guilt over complicity in an Iraq war it wants ended, flush with anticipation over two years of anti-Bush leaks from a gavel-wielding Henry Waxman, and substantially more interested in revelations about congressional pages than in trying to tell voters the truth about whether or not the economy is strong and getting stronger -- can barely contain itself on its secret morning conference calls with Howard Dean and George Soros, during which it was agreed just this morning that, yes, we can keep the meta-narrative ('The Democrats are going to beat Bush and run Congress!!') going for another 19 days, without interruption."

Then THIS exchange between Suzanne Malveaux and Paula Zaun on CNN, on air,

Malveaux said, "We hope and we think that all of this is going to go away tomorrow, but we'll just have to wait and see."

Zahn responded, "Oh, I don't know whether we can count on that or not."

They wonder why they are losing readers and viewers?

It was in the Washington Post, AP reported it, now Editor and Publisher, America’s oldest journal covering the Newspaper agency, reported it this way,

"NEW YORK The Audit Bureau of Circulations FAS-FAX report for the six-month period ending September 2006 released this morning confirmed yet again that major metros are struggling to show growth. The losses are steep while the gains are meager.

This is the fourth consecutive semi-annual report to register a severe drop in daily circulation and -- perhaps more troubling to the industry -- Sunday copies. While the estimated decline 2.8% for daily circulation for all reporting papers may seem negligible, consider that in years past that decrease averaged around 1%. Sunday, considered the industry's bread-and-butter, showed even steeper losses, with a decline of about 3.4%.

Big cities like L.A., Miami, and Boston are feeling the effects of the Internet and the trimming of other-paid circulation. In New York, however, a 5.1% surge for the New York Post allowed it to leapfrog past its rival, the Daily News -- and The Washington Post -- into fifth place in daily circ."

Now today, the AP is reporting,

"Like a train wreck or a car accident, when rich people do battle, everybody stops to watch. Billionaires Ronald Burkle, Eli Broad and David Geffen haven't taken off the gloves but all signs point to them fighting for ownership of their troubled hometown newspaper, the Los Angeles Times. The fortunes of the Times, the nation's fourth-largest daily newspaper, are being watched closely by a newspaper industry beset by sales, staffing cutbacks and circulation drops."

Why would anyone want to buy a dying paper?

"Adding to the intrigue is the adversarial relationship between Geffen and Broad, which dates to their roles in the ultimately successful effort to secure the 2000 Democratic National Convention for Los Angeles, according to a profile of Broad in "Vanity Fair" magazine.

Still, Geffen, Broad and Burkle have much in common. Each rose from modest circumstances to great wealth. Each is a philanthropist. And each actively supports the Democratic Party."

Interesting. Listen to this one,

"Burkle is a close friend of former President Bill Clinton and has raised funds for U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y."

They are fighting over the POWER to tell YOU want to think. You know, the MMD got the LWL in power. OK I know this will offend some of you. But just because you may become offended, does not mean it is not true. The truth is that most people, like good little sheep, just voted for those that the media told them too. If you go out to the street and ask most people who Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, or Howard Dean is, they would have NO clue. Yet they voted them into office, because they were told to.

Now of course they say, they will not be activist owners. Ah, OK. The NYT did not violate their own ethics policy daily leading up to the election either. {Smile} I even told you where to find their ethics policy so you could see for yourselves.

I’m glad to see the MMD FINALLY move away from their pseud. Now if we could only get the LWL to be honest? {Smile}
Peter
