MMD Bias Even More Evident. Too Little, Too Late.

First I have to say, the Glen Beck special, "Exposed: The Extremist Agenda" was great. It was filled with a very disturbing reality of the situation in Iran, and who "Little Hitler" {President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad} really is. 14 minutes into it, the comparison was made. Then cartoons for kids, showing kids as suicide bombers? Really sick stuff going on over there. If they replay it, I bet they will, I dare you to watch it, if you didn’t already, and attempt to defend "Little Hitler" again. I dare you to say, "Well, it’s just a handful of extremists." when this showed it is in their culture, main stream life. From kids all the way up. This really was one extreme reality check.

Back to the MMD. The mass media that has brought you the LWL in power has proven their bias yet again. Why? How? Simple. They are all jumping on some of the leaders of the Democratic party, AFTER the elections. That’s right folks, they are "breaking news" on Murtha and Reid. News they have had all this time.

Example one. Murtha. Now, after the elections, groups like CREW are coming out against him as Speaker to be Pelosi taps him to be her second in command. You heard me correctly. CREW. You know, the same group that hammered anything Republican and ignored people like Murtha, and Reid, uh, until now. According to NewsMax,

"Murtha was listed in CREW's report, "Beyond DeLay: The 20 Most Corrupt Members of Congress (and five to watch)." As reported in the study and by the news media, Murtha has been involved in a number of pay-to-play schemes involving former staffers and his brother, Robert "Kit" Murtha.

Eight incumbents in CREW's report lost their races because of ethics issues.

"Future House Speaker Pelosi's endorsement of Rep. Murtha, one of the most unethical members of Congress, shows that she may have prioritized ethics reform merely to win votes with no real commitment to changing the culture of corruption," Melanie Sloan, executive director of CREW said Monday. "How can Americans believe that the Democrats will return integrity to the House when future Speaker Pelosi has endorsed an ethically-challenged member for a leadership position? Rep. Murtha is the wrong choice for this job."

Not only is Murtha beset by ethics issues, the New York Times reported on Oct. 2 that he has consistently opposed ethics and earmark reform. Sloan continued, "Rep. Murtha's opposition to ethics reform does not bode well for future Speaker Pelosi's promise to enact ethics legislation in the first 100 hours of the new Congress."

As a matter of fact, he said Speaker to be Pelosi’s ethic reform policy is "crap" He said he’ll vote for it anyway. {Laughing} It TRULY is amazing to watch these people. But where was CREW, and the NYTs BEFORE the election?

WAIT!! The NYT reported it on October 2. Did you see it then? Was it front page? Did they do a follow up? Who do you think got canned for running it in the first place? But where was the Washington Times before the election?

"House Democratic leader Nancy Pelosi is under fire from fellow Democrats and outside liberals for publicly backing Rep. John P. Murtha's bid to become majority leader, saying that the presumed speaker's acts have cast doubt on her party's promise to clean up the "culture of corruption" in Washington.

"How can Americans believe that the Democrats will return integrity to the House when future Speaker Pelosi has endorsed an ethically challenged member for a leadership position?" said Melanie Sloan, executive director of the liberal group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW). "Representative Murtha is the wrong choice for this job."

I guess he’s the wrong choice for the job. NOW. He was ok to get the Democrats IN power. But noone but Speaker to be Peoplsi, wants him in leadership. So what about Reid? From the boxing tickets, receiving campaign contributions from at least four American Indian tribes only after they hired Jack Abramoff, and the land deals, NOW, after the elections, Brian Ross reports,

"As convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff reported to federal prison today, a source close to the investigation surrounding his activities told ABC News that Sen. Harry Reid (D-Nev.) was one of the members of Congress Abramoff had allegedly implicated in his cooperation with federal prosecutors."

Of course,

"A spokesperson for Reid, elected yesterday as the Senate Majority Leader, said the senator had done nothing illegal or unethical.

"We have no idea what Abramoff is telling prosecutors to save his skin, but I do know that these kind of old allegations are completely ridiculous and untrue," Sen. Reid's spokesman Jim Manley told ABC News."

This IS about the American Indian tribes ,Jack Abramoff, and the land deals. I told you about this October 17 2006. Where was Brian Ross then? Review Journal reported it. I told you about it. Where was the MMD? I love this statement.

"Prosecutors have said that Abramoff's cooperation is essential to the corruption investigation, but, so far, they have brought only one prosecution against a member of Congress connected to Abramoff, Republican Bob Ney of Ohio, who resigned."

Of course Ney resigned. He was asked too. He is a Republican. So he resigned. Republicans do that. If they are caught doing something wrong, they leave. The Left? Well, they get awarded power and position. Big news story at that time, then and whenever a Republican is involved. But a Democrat? Now if he was Reid or Murtha, or even Pelosi herself, they would simply say, "screw you" and the MMD would give them a free pass.

"It will be interesting to see if the media attacks the dirty dems with the same ferocity as they do dirty republicans. Somehow I doubt they will."

There are some 300 responses to Brian Ross’s article. Almost all of them say the same thing. Why did the MMD wait until after the election before airing these things? Um. Is it not obvious?

WAIT A SECOND!! I got it. I get it. I understand now. They are NOT going to be given a free pass, well, at least right this second, because the Mass Media Drones, are TRYING to give an appearance of non-partisan reporting. These people are being found to be more corrupt than those leaving, and the MMD wants nothing to do with them. Now when Hillary announces she will be running for the Presidency, do not worry, the MMD will shift their focus on WHOMEVER the Right throw in there. For now though, one of the biggest issues of this campaign WAS ethical reform, and now they have succeed their goal to get the Republicans out, they must now do damage control for those they got in. As corrupt as the MMD are, they are not stupid. They know that the main two reason people voted the way they did was the war, and corruption. They cannot be seen as codling these people that are doing the same.

Yes, the MMD are going after Democratic corruption. But this is after they created the damage. This is after the elections. This is, too little, too late. But it is typical. It just goes to show just how bias they are. To do everything including sitting on news, just to get the Democrats in office. But now? All bets are off. Until the Guru {Soros?} says differently.
