Kerry Needs To Resign

Hey folks,

Can you even believe it? Seriously. Only 4 days to go. The MMD are going nuts trying to "move on" from Kerry. They want him out of the news NOW! The all said "let’s move on now." As I pointed out to you yesterday, the exchange between Suzanne Malveaux and Paula Zaun on CNN was priceless. Here it is again,

Malveaux said, "We hope and we think that all of this is going to go away tomorrow, but we'll just have to wait and see."

Zahn responded, "Oh, I don't know whether we can count on that or not."

They are trying everything they can think of. It isn’t working though. The AP have been busy. They even tried to go back to the whole President Bush and the Republicans are evil and need to go. They reported yesterday that November is off to a "bloody start" in Iraq. Uh, we are in a war? Then there are even more stories out there telling you, in essence, you are just too stupid to get Kerry’s joke.

You know, as I also shared with you yesterday, someone sent me two articles from the" Huffy" post. One thing I read, just will not leave me. I keep thinking about it. The part I’m talking about is this,

"Since Kerry never said what they claimed, and one must assume he never has even thought it---after all, he knew his fellow soldiers and depended on one-another for their lives and limbs"

He DID say exactly what ,,,, here you go,

"You know, education, if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you -- you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

But the part that keeps bothering me is this,

",,one must assume he never has even thought it---after all, he knew his fellow soldiers and depended on one-another for their lives and limbs"

But he DOES think this way. He thinks that the only people that would sign up, are those too stupid to do anything else. AP went back a bit, OK, 34 years ago, but,

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.’"

Here is part of that story, but I really want to dissect Kerry’s own words. I have to give credit to the writer of this piece, John Solomon, you have to know he is taking some heat right now, The story goes,

"In 1972, as he ran for the House, he was less apologetic in his comments about the merits of a volunteer army. He declared in the questionnaire that he opposed the draft but considered a volunteer army "a greater anathema."

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.'

"Equally as important, a volunteer army with our present constitutional crisis takes accountability away from the president and put the people further from control over military activities," he wrote."

Now of course,

"Kerry's spokesman, David Wade, said Wednesday the historical document needed to be viewed in the era in which it was written but that it nonetheless raised a "bedrock question in a time of war when sacrifice should be shared by all Americans."

"These are the words 34 years ago of a 28-year-old veteran home from a war gone wrong, wondering who in America will bear the cost of battle and shoulder the responsibility of military service," Wade said.

Kerry filled out the candidate questionnaire at the request of Massachusetts Political Action for Peace, an anti-war group that decades later turned over its historical documents to university researchers.

AP obtained the document from someone who gathered it from archives during Kerry's unsuccessful 2004 presidential campaign against President Bush. Republicans in that election relentlessly assailed Kerry's role in the anti-war movement decades earlier."

OK folks, lets just move on? NO. Look how they {Mass Media} keep caring on about Foley, and he’s GONE. Or look how long they kept it up about Allen. Look how they keep attacking Rush for the Fox thing, {That’s Michael J, not the news outlet.} or how they continuously, on a daily bases, try to change the subject, from the lack of a real LWL agenda, a plan or platform, to "War is bad" "Bush is evil." "We need a change" {Yet they fail to tell you HOW they will change things}

They are a couple more news stories I wanted to touch on, to illustrate my point here, but this latest revelation of more of Kerry’s comments have over shadowed them. Checkout the links below. It seems that South Dakota has their own "Foley type" problem. Looks like allegations that Sen. Dan Sutton, a Democrat from the eastern town of Flandreau, "sexually groped" an 18-year-old page in this year's legislative session. Their looking into it. Then you have The Rev. Ted Haggard, a married father of five who has been called one of the most influential evangelical Christians in the nation, {I’ve never heard of him. Believe me, in the circles I use to live in, I should have if he is indeed "one of the most influential evangelical Christians in the nation"} accused of paying for gay sex. Which news article do you think will get the most attention?

Back to Kerry. Let’s break this down shall we?

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown,"

Translation, "I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of people that are the lowest of society. Those too stupid to do anything else. You know, those poor, black and brown people. Lowlifes. Uneducated." Is this NOT a racist statement? If a Republican ever said anything even remotely like this, EVERYONE, and rightly so, would be calling for their head.

"We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam." Talking about war atrocities. Yes because according to Kerry, those poor, black, and brown people, are to stupid to know how to handle themselves properly. Then he goes on to say, he is against a professional army. So you really want a guy, who is anti any kind of army, in a position of power during a time of war?

Now of course they are saying, "Forget about it. It was said 34 years ago." What about Senator Allen? You know, the one that someone said they heard someone say that they may have heard, Allen use the "N" word at a football game 34 years ago. No proof. But front page news for weeks. Yet Kerry’s comments are in writing. No disputing he said it. But that’s ok, let’s move on. WRONG.

Not only should Kerry be forced to give a REAL apology, he also now needs to resign for his clear racist remarks and anti army views. When you couple that statement, with what he just said recently, there is no doubt what he actually meant.

I’m WAY out of time here, but this needed to be said. 4 days to go. You ARE informed. Get ready. Go VOTE.
Peter
