IWA For Sunday, November 5, 2006

Hey folks,

Is there ANY doubt in your mind, who the Idiot of the Week is? Seriously. There are people who say and do dumb things all the time. But this guy? The only reason he is still in office is because the Mass Media has chosen to ignore the completely racist, and degrading statements he has made against our men and women of the military. The only reason he is still in office is because of the double standard in this country when it comes to what a Democrat and a Republican can say and do.

Yes, because of these statements, not taken out of context, not adding anything {Like hidden meanings} to them, not changing them in anyway, John Kerry is most definitely the Idiot of the Week.

"I am convinced a volunteer army would be an army of the poor and the black and the brown," Kerry wrote. "We must not repeat the travesty of the inequities present during Vietnam. I also fear having a professional army that views the perpetuation of war crimes as simply 'doing its job.’"

He reinforced his disdain for our men and women of the military just this past week when he said,

"You know, education, if you make the most of it and you study hard and you do your homework and you make an effort to be smart, you -- you can do well. If you don't, you get stuck in Iraq."

Then the completely lame attempt to pass off yet another attack against the Commander and Chief of this said army, as an apology, he said,

"As a combat veteran, I want to make it clear to anyone in uniform and to their loved ones: my poorly stated joke at a rally was not about, and never intended to refer to any troop.

I sincerely regret that my words were misinterpreted to wrongly imply anything negative about those in uniform, and I personally apologize to any service member, family member, or American who was offended.

It is clear the Republican Party would rather talk about anything but their failed security policy. I don’t want my verbal slip to be a diversion from the real issues. I will continue to fight for a change of course to provide real security for our country, and a winning strategy for our troops."

Actually, he wasn’t man enough to even say THIS. He posted it on his web site. He was too much of a coward to actually say it. Of course the Mass Media Drones just accepted this ridiculous "non-apology" for the real thing, and desperately attempted to move on. Not going to happen though.

For these statements, and for his complete cowardice, not only does John Kerry deserve the Idiot Award, he should resign as well. We are in a time of war folks. There are those that want you dead, just because you breath. You want someone like this in a position of power?

Congratulations John Kerry, you ARE, without a doubt, the Idiot of the Week.
Peter
