Bush Rhetoric?

Hey folks,

Happy Saturday to you. I saw this article, OK, I’ll be honest. I started to write this last night right after "More Anti-Semitism,,,". I decided to post this today, because I knew I was about to be very busy both here and elsewhere. But this article from the Christian Science Monitor is really interesting.

"As the nation fights wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and seeks to keep the American homeland safe, another sort of conflict is heating up: a war of rhetoric.

Thursday, President Bush launched a series of speeches aimed at building support for efforts to combat terrorism and for the Iraq war. His address before the American Legion in Salt Lake City followed tough speeches this week by other top administration officials that characterized Iraq war opponents as "defeatists" and "appeasers," likening the threat of Islamic fundamentalist-driven terrorism to "fascism.""

The truth hurts sometimes. Doesn’t it? Go there and read the whole thing for yourself. You will see that the writer, Linda Feldmann, is appearing to be fair in this article. You can actually see the extreme effort in attempting this. However, her use of words like rhetoric, making it out to be just political, and quoting Mr. Gelpi, a political scientist at Duke University who is studying this issue, is turning this into pure political posturing instead of what it is, the truth of this war. The truth that there are appeasers, apologists, and sympathizers out there that would make a deal with the devil himself, if it would mean "getting rid of Bush." Those that hinder our efforts. Those that are just plain ignorant to this evil rising.

I’ve posted links for those of you who are tire of, or just to intelligent enough to take anything I, or anyone else says as absolute truth, without checking it out for yourself. In my article Why the UN is Worthless, I gave many links for you to check out 'Little Hitler" yourself. There is vast many more sites where you can find the truth about him. Yet, there are some that STILL defend him, attempt to humanize him, and make him sound honorable, intelligent, and sophisticated. Truth is he is a power hungry, hate filled, little boy, trying to be seen as the new Hitler. Total and absolute destruction of the Jews and anyone else that refuses to convert to his religion.

If you do not agree with nor like President Bush, this country, whatever, think about this. It could be a lot worse. Keep playing the games you love so much. Just practice how to salute, if we lay down our arms, if we do not stay alert, vigilant, and aware that we are at war, we could very well welcome this "Little Hitler" right into our own country.

Then I wake up to see that "14 arrested in U.K. anti-terrorism raids" Just like Peter Clarke, head of Metropolitan Police anti-terror efforts, said,

"What we've learnt since 9/11 is that the threat is not something that's simply coming from overseas into the United Kingdom," Clarke said. "What we've learned, and what we've seen all too graphically and all too murderously, is that we have a threat which is being generated here within the United Kingdom."

The same could be said here in the U. S. That’s not rhetoric, that’s the truth. No, the rhetoric is we are not at war, "Little Hitler" is a good guy, and If we just play nice with others, we will live in peace.
Peter
