New "Gore" School Poster Child For Pollution

Hazardous to your kids Mental, and Physical Health.

Hey folks,

Happy Hump Day! Sorry, I have to postpone answering another question that is being posed to me. I planned on it today, but I will have to wait on that. Someone may answer it for me in the next couple of days. I will explain more in a day or so.

But I did come across this. THIS is too funny. You all know about the phenomenon of Snowstorms that plague Al Gore's Speaking trips on "Global Warming." He has been snowed out enough times that one could wonder if someone was trying to tell him and those that blindly follow him, that what he is saying is complete BS, and he need not continue.

But NOW? The Liberals in the Public {Government Run Indoctrination Centers} Education field attempted to name a School after Al Gore. The Father of the Church of Man-Made Global Warming. They ACTUALLY come right out and say that it is based on his Movie "An Inconvenient Truth." {Laughing}

"An Inconvenient Truth." Yeah, you know, the movie that the "Experts" including some of the Scientists he USED in the Movie, came out and said that it was nothing but Bunk? Something like 27 different incorrect bits of information that Gore attempted to pass off as Scientific Fact. Hell, he used clips from a Sci -Fi Movie {Day After Tomorrow} in his Movie. No one takes this seriously anymore. The SCAM that is Man-Made Global Warming is all but dead. Oh of course there are some trying to revive it. There is a lot of money to be made. But there is no THREAT to Mankind.

However, that can NOT be said about the $75.5 Million Carson-Gore Academy of Environmental Sciences that will open Sept. 13 for about 675 students. Gore's name follows another Environut Rachel Carson, who was an Author some credit with helping launch the modern Environmental SCAM Movement.

Yes, the Carson-Gore Academy sounds lovely. Indoc,,,uh, teaching young, ignorant, heads full of putty, Students, about the dangers of man, and the beauty of nature. Teaching them that they should live in tents, and allow those that tell them what to do to collect THEIR money, live in Mansions and fly around the world to tell everyone how evil they are. Yes, maybe this school will educate more people like James Lee, who wants man to stop reproducing because we are killing the Planet. They even want a Garden. A happy little Garden and that could produce a Student Farmer's Market.

So what could possibly be the problem? Critics say that the Carson-Gore Academy of Environmental Sciences location poses a long term Health risk to Students and Staff. It's CONTAMINATED!! They even admit this. Yet they say it's safe. You have to read this.

Construction crews were working at the campus up to the Labor Day weekend, replacing toxic soil with clean fill. All told, workers removed dirt from two 3,800-square-foot plots to a depth of 45 feet, space enough to hold a four-story building. The soil had contained more than a dozen underground storage tanks serving light industrial businesses.

Additional contamination may have come from the underground tanks of an adjacent gas station. A barrier will stretch 45 feet down from ground level to limit future possible fuel leakage.

An oil well operates across the street, but officials said they've found no associated risks. Like many local campuses, this school also sits above an oil field, but no oil field-related methane has been detected.

Groundwater about 45 feet below the surface remains contaminated but also poses no risk, officials said.

Because the district imported clean dirt, the school is probably safe at the moment, said Jane Williams, executive director of the Kern County-based California Communities Against Toxics. But she and other critics, including Robina Suwol, who heads the locally based California Safe Schools coalition, worry that the pollution sources have not been adequately identified and that the dirty groundwater could recontaminate the soil.
{Laughing} Yeah it's contaminated, but no problem. Even the Evironuts are not happy with this.

"Renaming this terribly contaminated school after famous environmental advocates is an affront to the great work that these individuals have done to protect the public's health from harm," an environmental coalition wrote in a letter to the Los Angeles Unified School District. Making sure the school is safe "would be an even better way to honor their contribution to society."
As for that wonderful Student Farmer's Market? Robina Suwol, who heads the locally based California Safe Schools Coalition, said this.

Suwol said Lowry sounds "incredibly wonderful," but added that she'd feel better if the vegetables were grown in planters above the ground.
Folks, I would not send my kids to this place to begin with. Not even to show them the sheer stupidity, and lunacy, of the whole GWBS. But if I were you, and even if I bought into the whole GWBS, commonsense SHOULD tell you to keep your kids away from a School that officials TELL YOU is contaminated, yet "safe." You kind of have to feel bad for poor old Al. The guy just can't catch a break. {Smile}

Have a great days folks. See you soon.
Peter
