IWA For Sunday 052310

Would it not be nice to actually have Government Officials DO THEIR JOBS?

Hey folks,

So Arizona got tired of not being able to enforce the Laws equally, because they we not allowed to ask for ID if they stopped an Illegal for Driving While intoxicated. They could and were expected to ask YOU, White, Black, or any other person for ID. But anyone that appeared to POSSIBLY be Illegal? Nope. Not allowed. I'm not kidding.

Police were handcuffed when they responded to Home Invasions, Accidents, ETC. Anytime they had to get involved, and there was even a reasonable suspicion that the Perp. should not be here to begin with, they were not allowed to ask. So minor offenses were fines and payment and the Prep was released to do it again.

Do you remember California? Last Updated: Thu, 04/17/2008 - 1:39pm

A law to deport illegal immigrants who commit drunken driving offenses was defeated by Democratic lawmakers in a state where dozens of innocent Americans have been killed or critically injured recently by illegal aliens driving under the influence.

The bill was introduced in the California Assembly after a drunken illegal immigrant struck a mother of four (Sara Cole) as she loaded her sons’ bikes into the family car. The severe blow crushed the northern California woman’s legs, leaving her partially paralyzed. The illegal immigrant driver (Lucio Rodriguez) had a previous drunken driving conviction, a suspended license and a blood alcohol level of more than twice the legal limit.

Multiple illegal alien offenders like Rodriguez will remain protected from automatic deportation in California thanks to Democratic lawmakers, who joined forces this week to defeat the bill known as Sara’s Law. The two legislators who voted for the much-needed ordinance in the state Assembly’s public safety committee were Republicans with the majority Democrats voting against it.

The legislation would have required local law enforcement agencies throughout the state to notify Immigration and Customs Enforcement when a person who gets arrested for driving under the influence causes bodily injury or property damage of more than $600 and cannot provide valid documentation of their legal status.

Attached to the proposed bill are dozens of tragic cases in which drunken illegal immigrants—many repeat offenders—murdered or critically injured innocent Americans throughout the country, including children, teenagers, young fathers and mothers. Examples include an intoxicated alien who ran a stop sign and killed a 14-year-old girl and her 4-year-old cousin, another who ran over a 31-year-old father of three while riding a bicycle on Sunday morning, a man who killed a 21-year-old woman by slamming his vehicle into the back of her sports car and a teenager seriously injured by an illegal immigrant who fled the scene but was later arrested for a separate offense.
Commonsense is it not? All those Law Makers should have to PERSONALLY tell families that lost loved ones WHY they did, when the person that took the life of their loved ones should not have even been here to begin with. Why this is a second or third offense, when they should have been deported after the FIRST.

So Arizona got tired of the insanity of the Federal Government being more concerned with getting Votes, than protecting it's people, they did something about it. You all know about this now. Gov. Jan Brewer, signed into Law, a Law to Enforce the Law. The Law is simple. 10 pages. Easy to understand. If the Policy get involved, and there is someone that should not be here to begin with, they have the DUTY to ask for their ID, and Proof of Citizenship. If they ARE here Illegally, Bye bye.

Well, that doesn't sit well with the Democrats that are counting on these people for their Votes come November. They have already lost half the country. They NEED Amnesty, in turn, NEW Voters. So the President, not reading the Bill, the Homeland Security Secretary, without reading the Bill, and even the Head Lawyer, not reading the Bill, came out and attacked, made fun of, and put down, the BILL, Arizona, and the AMERICAN PEOPLE who live there.

Gov. Jan Brewer, the Arizona Legislation, and the PEOPLE are not backing down. So they are ready to do what the Obama Regime will not do, ENFORCE THE LAW. But, WAIT! Not so fast. John Morton, Assistant Secretary of Homeland Security for U.S. ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said 'Screw You Arizona." During a meeting on Wednesday with the editorial board of the Chicago Tribune, he said this.

"I don't think the Arizona law, or laws like it, are the solution," Morton told the newspaper.

The best way to reduce illegal immigration is through a comprehensive federal approach and not a patchwork of state laws.

The law, which criminalizes being in the state illegally and requires authorities to check suspects for immigration status, is not good government."
It's NOT your job to decide what Laws are "Good Government" and what aren't. It is YOUR JOB to Enforce the Laws of the Land. Who are YOU to pick and choose what laws you want to enforce? You are the Idiot of the Week. It's because of people like you NOT doing their jobs, that force people like Gov. Jan Brewer would not be forced to clean up YOUR mess.
