Iran Missile Test Should be Cause For Concern to Obama

Iran Proves intentions

Hey folks,

That's right. Little Hitler himself proved his intentions Wednesday when they successfully tested a long range missile that is capable of hitting Israel. It is also capable of carrying a Nuclear Warhead.

Will Obama take note? Is Israel ready to take care of this without us. I hope people are paying attention. According to Al Jazeera - Iran launches long-range missile

Iran has test-launched a missile with a range of up to 2,000km, putting Israel, US bases in the Middle East and parts of Europe within striking distance.

The successful test was announced by Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, the Iranian president, on Wednesday, as campaigning for the June 12 presidential election officially started.

"... we launched a Sejil-2 missile, which is a two-stage missile and it has reached the intended target," Ahmadinejad said in a speech in the northern city of Semnan, close to the launch site.

Analysts say the range of the surface-to-surface Sejil 2 missile is between 1,200km and 2,000km.

A US defence official confirmed the launch, saying that the missile appeared to be consistent with Tehran's older Ashura models, long known to US intelligence.

So we have known for a while that he was capable of doing this?

Ahmadinejad, whose moderate challengers in the June 12 vote accuse him of isolating Iran with his anti-Western speeches, said the country had the power to send any attacker "to hell".

Folks, he has been telling the world his intentions for YEARS. He is going to win this election, and he will continue his quest until he is stopped by force. It really is that simple.

Defense Secretary Robert Gates said initial reports suggested the test launch announced by Iran was a success and that the missile had a range of at least 2,000 kilometers (1,200 miles).

"The information that I have read indicates that it was a successful flight test," Gates told a congressional hearing when asked about the launch.

Gates added it was unclear if the missile had hit its intended target as claimed by Iran.

The White House said President Barack Obama had "continued concern" about both Iran's ballistic missile efforts and its nuclear ambitions.

I sure hope so. He really is not playing here.

Obama was concerned "about Iran's missile development programs, its pursuit of nuclear weapons capability and technology," White House spokesman Robert Gibbs said.

"The president and the prime minister both agreed on Monday that engaging the people and the leaders of the Islamic Republic of Iran, something that hasn't been tried for the past many years, is something that makes sense," Gibbs said.

Yeah, this little tidbit is completely false by the way. Benjamin Netanyahu did NOT agree that talking to Little Hitler was a good idea. He understands the reality of the situation. President Obama TRIED to convince him that talk was the best answer, but it did not work. Prime Minister Netanyahu did not go along with it. He will do whatever it takes to protect his country. Whatever it takes.

So even with what we already know about Little Hitler, and now a successful rocket test. The Liberals are sticking with their talking points about talking.

U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said on Wednesday she was not sure about the utility of imposing more bilateral U.S. sanctions on Iran if Washington's diplomatic effort to engage Tehran to curb its nuclear ambitions fails.

Speaking at a congressional hearing, Clinton said that if the U.S. diplomatic effort does not bear fruit, multilateral sanctions against Iran may be more effective.

Folks, Sanctions have never worked with Iran. It will not work today. Nor will it EVER work in the future. All talks and Sanctions do is buy Little Hitler more time. We talk. We impose Sanctions. Time ticks by. Ahmadinejad gets closer to fulfilling his quest. And it is, just that simple.
