My attempt to help the Conservative movement

Alright, let's be honest here. I know I may offend some of you out there, but let's get real. This is my effort to help the Conservative movement. Some of you will not like what I'm about to say, some may even get offended. Some will get it. So here it goes.

Alright, let's be honest here. I know I may offend some of you out there, but let's get real. This is my effort to help the Conservative movement. This type of thing really drives me nuts.
Some Republican leaders today launched what they are calling a "conversation with America."
It was the first of several events planned as part of a new movement they're calling The National Council for a New America. The event drew some of the biggest names in the GOP, including former presidential candidate Mitt Romney and former Florida governor Jeb Bush.
But it felt less like a town hall meeting and more like a therapy session for conservatives in crisis.
OK. STOP! This is why we will not get anywhere. This is EXACTLY what the Mainstream Media wants. This is EXACTLY what is expected. Bring out the Dinosaurs. Now do not get me wrong here folks. I love Jeb Bush. But he would not even come close to getting any where near a leadership role on the national scene. Why? His last name is Bush. Romney had a chance. Hell, he had my Vote. He bailed.
The GOP is NOT Conservative. That IS the problem. I'm so tired of people saying that we have to change what Conservatism means. No. We need to remind people what REAL Conservatism means. We need to get rid of the Republican Blue Bloods and get in their place TRUE Conservatives. Conservatism is not the problem here. Republicans playing Liberal are.
What the Conservative Movement needs is not Jeb Bush. It is not Newt. It is not the same old faces, no disrespect intended, saying the same old things. What the Conservative Movement needs is an Obama like figure. McCain is not it.
We do not need to put aside our CORE beliefs. Our fundamental moral values. No. We need to throw out those that would like to. We need to remove people like McCain, Susan Collins, and the likes. They should ALL take Sen. Arlen Specter's lead and start calling themselves what they are Liberals.
What we need to do is STOP allowing the LIBERAL Mainstream Media to define who we are. We need to stop allowing the Democrats to define who we are. What we need to do is start educating people just exactly what Conservatism is. We not only need to start defining it, but SHOWING people why it is the better choice. Why in the realm of ideas Conservatism wins EVERY TIME!

Someone who is not afraid to name names, call things the way they are, and actually give the people a true CHOICE. Someone who is not afraid of the Press. Someone who can connect with the American people directly.
So to the GOP. Please just stop. Stop attempting to out Lib the Libs. Stop bringing in the same old faces. Stop calling yourselves Conservatives. If you want the Conservative votes. BE CONSERVATIVE. Stand for Conservative values. Name the names responsible for the mess we are in, and more importantly, tell us how you are going to fix it. Give us details. Give us a reason to vote for you.
You are right about one thing. What was in the past will not work now. You all faked us out once. You got into power. You had some time in charge. What did you do? Spent like the Democrats. Acted like the Democrats. Became just like the Democrats. You were thrown out of office by DEMOCRATS.
No GOP, Conservatism doesn't have to change to win, YOU do. Most Americans hunger for a true leader. Obama is not he. An out of control Socialistic Congress is not it. Republicans attempting to pander to Conservatives while acting like Liberals, will get you no where. It truly is time for a change. It truly is a time for hope. It is time for someone new.
