The Surrender Moneys At It Again.

Hey folks,

Sorry, but these people are just to plain ignorant to run this country. Last night I posted the transcript of the President's press conference yesterday morning. You can read it for yourselves and make up your own mind, instead of just sound bites you will get from the Mass Media. Did you see some of the questions?

“Mr. President, you started this war, a war of your choosing, and you can end it alone, today, at this point -- bring in peacekeepers, U.N. peacekeepers. Two million Iraqis have fled their country as refugees. Two million more are displaced. Thousands and thousands are dead. Don't you understand, you brought the al Qaeda into Iraq.”

The President handled these completely idiotic and agenda driven questions better than I ever could have. I would have called a spade a spade. This is completely false. Al Qaeda was already THERE. {Sigh}

“Mr. President, you're facing a rebellion from Republican -- key Republican senators who want you to change course and begin reducing the U.S. combat role. Given the mixed report that you present today, how do you persuade Republicans to stick with you as they look ahead to the next elections?”

First, a couple of these “rebels” have been against the President from day one. Snow, being one of them. This is not news. Second, therein lies the difference between President Bush, and the LWL. President Bush looks at things based on right and wrong. He sees things that have to be done, and does them. The LWL look at things for popularity. They could not care less what is right and wrong. They will only do things that they perceive will show them in favorable light. They only care about being in, and keeping power. They do not really care about you, or what is best for the country, just what they can get. What is best for them.

“Mr. President, in addition to members of your own party, the American public is clamoring for a change of course in Iraq. Why are you so resistant to that idea, and how much longer are you willing to give the surge to work before considering a change in this policy?”

How about until September? You know, the date agreed upon where the one in charge on the ground will give the progress report. Not a bunch of bought and paid for Traitors sitting in offices in Washington. The ones that do not care, as a matter of fact, those that WANT us to lose the war. How about September?

Already, we have seen the fifty percent of the benchmarks HAVE been met. Already we have seen a MAJOR decrease in violence where ever the surge is. We are seeing an increase in death tolls in minor and minute towns and far reaches of the country where the troops are not. This is actually proof that the surge is WORKING.

This is a completely STUPID question.

“You talk about all the troops now being in place, and only in place the last three weeks or a month. Yet three-quarters of the troops for the surge were in place during the period when this July interim report was written. Are you willing to keep the surge going, no matter what General Petraeus says, if there is no substantial Iraqi political progress by September?

First before all the troops were there. Second, what if? I think President Bush handled this brilliantly.

PRESIDENT BUSH “You're asking me to speculate on what my frame of mind will be in September, and I would just ask that you give -- General Petraeus to come back and brief me. And then, of course, I'll be glad to answer your questions along that line.”

But they insisted on continuing to talk about the past. He was continued to talk about the future. As for no progress being made, that is arguable as well.

They continued to ask the same stupid questions and the President continued to put them in their place. He did a great job. Then they asked him about Libby. He, rightfully so, said enough already. Time to move on. I loved that.

More asking of him to speculate on “What If” and more of him he will not do that. So after this press conference. The house, lead by Traitor and Surrender Money, LWL Pelosi, voted on yet another pointless bill that will be vetoed. According to the AP -House OKs plan to withdraw US troops By DAVID ESPO, AP Special Correspondent

Within hours, the House voted to withdraw U.S. troops by spring.

The House measure passed 223-201 in the Democratic-controlled chamber despite a veto threat from President Bush, who has ruled out any change in war policy before September.

Folks, these poeple are idiots. Sad really. They are completely worthless. They are attempting to rush this. As I told you before, they have every intention, including some in the Mass Media, to get Supreme Leader Wannabe Hillary, in as President. They want this war {As they see it} over before that, so they can simply blame Bush for everything. This is way the incrediable and insane push for surrender. According to this article,

A few hours after Bush's remarks, Democratic leaders engineered passage of legislation requiring the withdrawal of U.S. combat troops to begin within 120 days, and to be completed by April 1, 2008. The measure envisions a limited residual force to train Iraqis, protect U.S. assets and fight al-Qaida and other terrorists.

The vote generally followed party lines: 219 Democrats and four Republicans in favor, and 191 Republicans and 10 Democrats opposed.

You get the standard LWL lines. Who’s response to all this did I like? Who did I think was right on target? House Republican Whip Roy Blunt (Mo.) in a statement he realeased right after the vote.

He said this.

"Democrats in the House once again this evening put themselves on record in support of a strategy of surrender in Iraq -- this time passing a bill that satisfies their temporary political needs, but fails to consider the needs of our troops and commanders in the field.”

ABSOLUTELY.

“Far from providing a 'new way forward' in Iraq, this bill offers not a single policy recommendation or point of strategy to keep our troops safe and secure, and put them in a position to be successful. The only thing it offers is a symbolic gesture of defeat paired with the necessary means of delivering it.”

Surrender. {Laughing}

“The conditions on the ground in Iraq right now need to improve -- a fact understood well by this Congress, the American people, and the president himself. But instead of coming together with a common purpose to craft a long- term strategy for success -- a strategy that's informed by facts on the ground and driven by a shared commitment to win -- the majority continues to play politics at the expense of those who put themselves in harm's way in service of our nation.

In the same afternoon, Democrats also rejected a measure that would have closed the terrorist surveillance loophole in the FISA process -- rounding out a day in which our mission in Iraq was dealt a further blow, and our ability to keep Americans safe at home was diminished right on the floor of the U.S. House."

Way to go Roy!!

These people do not care about you. They do not care about America. ALL they care about is power and keeping it. All they care about achieving, is “getting Bush.” They have done NOTHING.

This whole bill, is nothing more than MORE waste of time. President Bush will veto it if it ever gets to his desk. I hope he continues to tell this completely irrelevant Congress to screw off. In this, and many other pointless and meaningless practices that they seem to be obsessed with.

If people think conditions in Iraq are bad now just wait and see what there like if we pull out.

Hey Bill,

They really just do not get it. They seem to TRULY believe that if we just leave them alone, they will love us and leave us alone.

Yes, you are right. Of course if the LWL get their way, things will go bad, but that's OK. They will just blame Bush.

I remember one moonbat who claimed that everything was hunkydorry after we left Vietnam. I guess the thousands of people who later died was irrelevant as long as it was not his butt on the line.

Hey Sam

The sad thing is, many people want to try to get you to believe that this IS another Vietnam, and they are trying to pull the same thing. Pull out. Problem is, just like Vietnam, the evil will happen if we do.

But of course, they do not want you to think about that. They seem to want it both ways. Just like, and nothing like if we leave. Can't have it both ways.
