Stick Your Finger In The Air.

Can you feel it? The wind seems to be changing. The tide is moving out. There seems to be a new feel in the atmosphere. Sanity keeps prevailing. This is not turning out to be a good week for the LWL {Left Wing Looneys} Let’s see.

First they stage this all night stunt. This complete show for their completely looney base. That accomplished NOTHING. Then we find out that some of them went HOME. Then LIED about it. Then you have yesterday.

First the big news is this. According to Reuters -Judge dismisses civil suit in CIA leak scandal By Andy Sullivan Thu Jul 19, 4:24 PM ET

A U.S. judge on Thursday threw out former CIA analyst Valerie Plame's lawsuit against Vice President Dick Cheney and other Bush administration officials for disclosing her identity to the public.

That’s because, one she was not covert. Two, they never did. We all KNOW who the leaker was.

Plame has said her career was destroyed when administration officials blew her cover in 2003 to retaliate against her husband, Iraq war critic Joseph Wilson.

The couple had sought money damages from the officials for violating their constitutional free speech, due process and privacy rights.

Of course they did {Laughing}That and to attack Bush.

U.S. District Court Judge John Bates dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds.

Plame's lawyer said she would appeal.

"While we are obviously very disappointed by today's decision, we have always expected that this case would ultimately be decided by a higher court," lawyer Melanie Sloan said in a statement.

Go for it. It’s a ridiculous waste of time. Yet another SHOW. It means nothing. People are starting to see this.

Then the AP reported it this way. According to the AP -Plame lawsuit dismissed in CIA leak case By MATT APUZZO, Associated Press Writer

Former CIA operative Valerie Plame lost a lawsuit Thursday that demanded money from Bush administration officials whom she blamed for leaking her agency identity.

Plame, the wife of former Ambassador Joseph Wilson, had accused Vice President Dick Cheney and others of conspiring to disclose her identity in 2003. Plame said that violated her privacy rights and was illegal retribution for her husband's criticism of the administration.

U.S. District Judge John D. Bates dismissed the case on jurisdictional grounds and said he would not express an opinion on the constitutional arguments.

Bates dismissed the case against all defendants: Cheney, White House political adviser Karl Rove, former White House aide I. Lewis "Scooter" Libby and former Deputy Secretary of State Richard Armitage.

The rest of it is just reminding you of what lead to the stupidity.

Then you have THIS. This was NOT reported yesterday. Why? One it doesn’t really fit the Mass Media Drone templet, {Bush bad, Republicans evil, Democrats saints, ETC} Two, it goes against the scam they and the LWL have attempted to pass off as NOT linked to abortion. Three, it shows that something can actually get done through TRUE bipartisanship. What am I talking about? The Smith-Davis amendment to the Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations Bill FY08

U.S. Reps. Chris Smith (R- NJ) and Artur Davis (D-AL) successfully amended a federal spending bill to add millions of dollars for the national program that promotes ETHICAL, life- saving stem cell research and treatment.

The House of Representatives agreed to the Smith-Davis amendment to the Labor, Health and Human Services Appropriations Bill FY08, which is expected to pass the House today. Passage of the amendment means the federal government will now allocate $15 million in FY08 to the National Cord Blood Inventory (NCBI), bringing the program's budget to the level authorized in the law Smith authored, the "Stem Cell Therapeutic and Research Act of 2005" (P.L. 109-129)

This means that this PROVEN effective form of stem cell research will be funded, without all the idiocies and politicizing of the unproven Embryonic stem cell junk. It’s not the normal all or nothing bunk that the LWL love to push.

Smith said,

"Stem cells taken from umbilical cords are already being used in research and are saving lives. Approximately 8,000 patients have received cord blood treatments for over 70 diseases, including Leukemia, Sickle Cell Anemia and Hurler disease in the last two years alone. With a proven track record such as this, it is imperative that the federal government continue to support this innovative, life-saving program.

The NCBI -- created in 2005 -- now gives us the opportunity to turn medical waste into medical miracles. Without passage of this amendment, the current grant recipients would need to dramatically scale back their cord blood banking initiatives just as they're ramping up to treat more patients. However, by appropriating the full $15 million, we can triple this year's collection number

Surely we can accommodate an $11 million shift -- the net effect of my amendment -- to a proven regenerative medical treatment that will mitigate -- even cure -- a myriad of diseases including leukemia and sickle cell anemia.”

I believe we can as well. This is GREAT news. Well, for sane people. Look folks, as I pointed out several times in the past, embryonic stem cell research has not produce any cures or treatments. Cord blood and other adult stem cell research already have resulted in clinical treatments without requiring the destruction of life.

Yes, it seems the times are a changing. It seems that the more the LWL tries to do what this insignificant, yet well funded group of Loons want, the majority of people are starting to stand up. They are starting to realize how insane some of these plans are. They are getting tired of it. They are getting tire of this do nothing Congress. Look at their approval ratings. Now it seems in baby steps, but it seems to be happening, that even some of the Mass Media are starting to back away. NYT not included. Don’t get too excited though, some of the MMD is owned and controlled by Soros himself. But there does come a time when lies, corruption and deceit become just far too great to cover up any longer.

I’m starting to see little ripples. Let’s see what happens next.
Peter
