Two Pop Culture Icons Leaves us today
Hey folks,
Today is a sad day in the world of Pop Culture. One sold record numbers of records. One sold record number of posters. One created a "look" and made the moon walk famous. One created a hair style and even had a Shampoo named after her.
Think what you will of them as individual people, but you can not deny their contributions to Pop Culture and they entertained us all
Michael Jackson. Really, enough said. His one glove, and Thriller album changed music and videos forever. But even as one of the Jackson Five, Michael contributed a lot to the music industry. Hey, he even made "Weird Al" famous.
Yes I understand that he was, uh, unique. Questions were raised about possible Child Abuse. Never proven. But Odd he was. Lets face it. Even those that hate to admit it, were still entertained by him.
Like I said, think what you will about him personally, we can not say thank you enough professionally for all he has done.
Farrah Fawcett. Come on, if you were a male of just about any age, YOU most likely had a Farrah Poster. The most famous "Angel" of them all.
She lost her battle with cancer today.
Jackson seems to have had a heart attack.
God Speed Farrah and Michael. May their families have the peace and comfort they need in this time.
Peter

I'm sick and tired of hearing about Michael Jackson.
He's dead.
Enough is enough.
There is other much more important news out there.
