Obama Issues NEW Global Warming Rules, But Not For Friends and Supporters

This is SOP for this Administration. Also another example of WHY the EPA needs to be DOA.

The EPA is nothing more than a JOKE now. Seriously. They are nothing more than an Obama Tool. That's it. They couldn't give a Hoot about the Environment. They couldn't care less about High Energy Costs. They do not care about the Spotted Oil, unless of course they can USE the Spotted Oil to further Agendas. More on Energy and Food Crisis in a few minutes. The EPA plays a part in that as well.

If there even was a reason to doubt what I'm saying? Here is a Clear Cut case of the fact that the EPA, AKA Obama, is out of control. According to BELTWAY CONFIDENTIAL - Obama issues global warming rules in January, gives GE an exemption in February Politics from the Nation's Capital

Last month, the Obama EPA began enforcing new rules regulating the greenhouse gas emissions from any new or expanded power plants.

This week, the EPA issued its first exemption, Environment & Energy News reports:

The Obama administration will spare a stalled power plant project in California from the newest federal limits on greenhouse gases and conventional air pollution, U.S. EPA says in a new court filing that marks a policy shift in the face of industry groups and Republicans accusing the agency of holding up construction of large industrial facilities.

According to a declaration by air chief Gina McCarthy,

According to a declaration by air chief Gina officials reviewed EPA policies and decided it was appropriate to "grandfather" projects such as the Avenal Power Center, a proposed 600-megawatt power plant in the San Joaquin Valley, so they are exempted from rules such as new air quality standards for smog-forming nitrogen dioxide (NO2).

OK. So the Air Chief Declared, that it is OK for Some to not follow the NEW EPA / Obama Dictated Rules. But how will this be determined?

There's something interesting about the Avenal Power Center:

The proposed Avenal Energy project will be a combined-cycle generating plant consisting of two natural gas-fired General Electric 7FA Gas Turbines with Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG) and one General Electric Steam Turbine.

Maybe GE CEO Jeff Immelt's closeness to President Obama, and his broad support for Obama's agenda, had nothing to do with this exemption. But we have no way of knowing that, and given the administration's record of regularly misleading Americans regarding lobbyists, frankly, I wouldn't trust the White House if they told me there was no connection.

On the upside, at least Job Czar Immelt is creating jobs!

So if you are a Friend or Supporter, no need to worry. You know, Fannie, Freddie, GE, GM, Cabinet Members, White House Staff, Senators, Representatives {On the Left, Right only if you support the Left} ETC. None of you have to worry about all the Mandates and Dictates coming out of this Regime. The do not apply to you. Now do the right thing, and openly and publicly support this President and the Liberal Leadership. Or the next time around they WILL.
