Further Proof Liberals Are Kooks

Some STILL wonder why I call them LWL and Kooks?

Hey folks,

I hate animal experiments. I guess, in a way, I understand their need. If say, killing a Money, causes the cure for AIDS, then by all means, the Money must die. I understand that experiments on Rats, have found cures and help for other diseases. So is it worth it? I guess.

That is not to say that I do agree with how some of these animals are treated. I do not. I do not like it anymore than some of the Kooks out there. But what should we do if we find abuse? REPORT IT. Give the proof to the Authorities and allow them to investigate and take action when appropriate.

My problem with these Loons is things like this. According to Reuters - Four animal rights activists guilty of blackmail by Kate Kelland

LONDON (Reuters) – Four British animal rights activists were found guilty on Tuesday of blackmailing companies which supplied Huntingdon Life Sciences (HLS), a firm that conducts tests on animals.

Good.

Gerrah Selby, 20, Daniel Wadham, 21, Gavin Medd-Hall, 45, and Heather Nicholson, 41, were accused of orchestrating a campaign of blackmail against the Cambridgeshire-based company between 2001 and 2007, the Press Association reported.

Selby, Wadham, Medd-Hall and Nicholson denied the charges but were found guilty at Winchester Crown Court.

Three others -- Gregg Avery, Natasha Avery and Daniel Amos -- pleaded guilty to conspiracy to blackmail. Trevor Holmes, 51, was cleared.

So what were they up to?

The activists were part of a group called Stop Huntingdon Animal Cruelty, which used tactics such as false allegations of pedophilia against managers of supplier companies, hoax parcel bombs, criminal damage and threatening phone calls to force them to cut links with HLS, the court heard.

Another tactic was to send used sanitary towels or needles in the mail, saying they were contaminated with the AIDS virus. Some employees of firms linked to HLS had slogans such as "Puppy Killer" daubed with paint on roads outside their homes.

Oh yes, the intelligent and civil approach.

Sentencing was set for January 19.

Like Rape, I find pedophilia as the most Heinous of crimes. Those guilty need to be thrown out of the Human race for good. However, those who make false claims of such, with malice, need to be as well. There are far better ways to get your point across. But then again, some of these Kooks see animals more important than people, so may they enjoy the cages they are about to be put in.
