Here We Go Again, Attack on Faith, By Those Who Have None
Hey folks,
Here we go again with yet another moronic minority group, that , wants to force you to believe as they do. Yet another attack on faith and God. Yet another attack on YOU, your Rights, and freedom.
The First Amendment was put there, as well as the clause they love to mis-represent, to protect you from people like this. They use a play on words for their name. They call themselves the Freedom From Religion Foundation. I’m sure that they use, or have used the fictitious "Wall of Separation" argument. But this is NOT what it means.
These people have been lying so long, saying that the Constitution prohibits God in public life, that there are some, that actually believe this garbage. The truth is, the clause they and others like them have twisted so badly, is there to protect faith from Government. It in no way other than preventing the Federal Government from establishing a national religion, such as "Bushism" and forcing you to pay, and worship, out of fear of punishment, has anything to do with limiting Faith in public.
According to the USAToday,
The Wisconsin-based Freedom From Religion Foundation has sued to get rid of crosses in city parks, to end Good Friday public holidays and, most vigorously, to thwart President Bush's faith-based initiative.
Now, the group that for 30 years has sought a firm divide between church and state will be at the Supreme Court on Wednesday in a case that could affect taxpayers' ability to challenge — and government's ability to defend — a multitude of public programs that involve groups with a religious affiliation.
Can you see the arrogance of these idiots? Your talking an insignificant extreme minority, that wants to prevent YOU from practicing your faith when and where you chose. Something the Constitution prohibits.
"If the Bush administration were to prevail," says Annie Laurie Gaylor, co-president of the Freedom From Religion Foundation, "nobody would be able to challenge these programs. We feel that our litigation and educational efforts have never been more important."
Yes, "we know better than you. You must listen to us. We are important." There are really not that important. Just an another arrogant God hating, Bush bashing group.
A U.S. trial court dismissed the foundation's lawsuit, but the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 7th Circuit reversed it in January 2006. "The line proposed by the government … would be artificial because there is so much that executive officials could do to promote religion in ways forbidden by the establishment clause," that court said.
I doubt if these judges even KNOW what the clause means. So once again, you have an attack on God and faith, based on a twisting of the Constitution to fit what a minority group wants. Once again, you have people lying to you, and a court wanting to create laws to promote secularism and atheistism over God.
I guess we will have to wait and see what the Supreme Court decides.
Peter
