Less damage could be done if they were NOT there. I agree. As Ramsay would say, "Oh come on! Shut it DOWN!" And of course, it was another one of these Middle of the Night deals.

In an after-midnight roll call, House Republican leaders persuaded conservatives early Friday morning to support a stop-gap bill nearly identical to one they had rejected just 30 hours earlier.

So what is different this time?

The bill, which will keep federal agencies funded through Nov, 18, passed over staunch objections from Democrats, who opposed a provision that would pair increased funding for disaster relief with a spending cut to a program that makes loans to car companies to encourage the production of energy-efficient cars.

So to the Democrats, it is more important for them to keep funding Liberal Agenda Items, than it is to Fund Disaster Relief. Well, at least AS important. We have NO MONEY! There is NO Market for "Green Cars." Just like Solyndra, and all the other Solar, Wind, and other Green Companies out there, if they do NOT get funded by the Government, they will go away. Then again, as we saw with Solyndra, even if you DO give them $500 Million bucks, they will STILL go away. WITH your money. No this is not likely to Pass ANYWAY. According to this Piece.

Boehner's victory could be short-lived. Senate Majority Leader Harry M. Reid (D-Nev.) said late Thursday that the measure could not pass his chamber, with a vote expected sometime Friday. A Senate defeat would leave Congress at a new stand-off.

"It fails to provide the relief that our fellow Americans need as they struggle to rebuild their lives in the wake of floods, wildfires and hurricanes, and it will be rejected by the Senate," Reid said of the bill.

No, it cuts spending on insane Liberal Agendas and takes money away from them who SUPPORT the Democrat Party. But none of this is what bothers me. THIS is. According to the Washington Post of course. But I can see this as the truth. This IS how they feel about the Conservatives and the Tea Party People out there. No, the the Washington Post, nor the Democrats. No I'm talking about the ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS. Get this.

Republicans defended the decision to hold the vote Wednesday, even though they realized it was likely to fail. The GOP leadership wanted to demonstrate to the recalcitrant conservatives that their actions had real consequences. One senior Republican adviser called the process “an educational experience.”

What they want you to believe is this. Those ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS WANT to work with the Democrats. They WANT to work with Obama. As long as they are getting a few nuggets thrown in their direction, they are happy with the scraps. Yet, those evil Conservatives, THEY are the problem. They have this absolute disdain for Authority. They want to do nothing but pander to, well, the Majority of this Country, but, they will not work with the Libs. Oh no! They will not work with poor Obama. OK, so? Here is what we will do. They want this stupid Bill? Give it to them. The Senate will not Vote on it, and the Government will shut down, and we will show them! But in TRUTH, WHO is it playing games?

Boehner’s leadership team knew that it would need Democratic votes to approve the plan, but only by Wednesday afternoon did they fully understand that House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and House Minority Whip Steny H. Hoyer (D-Md.) were whipping their caucus to oppose the measure and make Boehner deliver nearly all Republican votes for passage. Rather than pulling the bill from the floor, Boehner told his deputies to hold the vote.

Rep. Dennis Ross (R-Fla.) said it best. He gets it. He said this.

“It’s painful to say that my vote helped my party lose this issue. I do not like that. I find no joy in that. I find no pride in that.

Those of us who were elected, especially just recently, have to justify why we were elected” — to cut spending.

He is RIGHT! That IS what they were sent there for. To STOP the Liberals. To STOP the out of control Spending. Stop the Government Overreach. Stop the Liberal Agendas and Government attacks on our Freedoms. NOT to work WITH them. Not to Compromise. Not to continue Business as usual in Washington. Those that stand tough, will stand tall in 2012.

Look, the Libs want to do what they always do. Spend. Cut nowhere, spend more. The ESTABLISHMENT REPUBLICANS want to do what they always do. Give the impression that they are listening to the people, accept the scaps that are thrown at their feet, and hold up little insignificant things to say "See? See what we did for you?" Meanwhile compromising with the Left to give them whatever they want. No more. THAT IS the whole point. If Boehner can't get that, then it's time for NEW Republican Leadership. This is WHY it is so important to send reinforcements in 2012, and get Obama out. Just by sheer numbers, can we really make the changes we need to bring back REAL and TRUE Hope to the American People.

Gridlock Is Good

Balance in Government is what we wanted.

You did it. You spoke, and barring a few calls of Voter Fraud out there, it came out pretty much as predicted. The Republicans take the House, the Democrats hold the Senate. Barely. The "Big News" out there is incumbent Harry Reid was the victor over Republican and Tea Party favorite Sharron Angle. Then, the other news is, O'Donnell "cost the GOP the Senate." Barney Frank is still kicking.

Folks, you are going to hear this type of thing for a few days now. The Tea Party is bad for the GOP. The "kooks" in the fringe that is the Tea Party, could not get it done. "See, the Republicans have to work WITH Obama. The Tea Party doesn't represent 'True Americans'" ETC.

But the TRUTH is, YOU have spoken. 239 to 183 in the House. Pelosi is OUT of power. Sanity now stands a chance to balance a bit of the insanity. The Senate comes out at this time as 51 to 46, still in Democrat control. Reid is still at the helm. But do not be discouraged by this. THIS really is a good thing.

Look, all the way back to 2006, I was telling you that we need balance in Government. If you remember, in 2006 it was the Republicans who controlled ALL. I talked about how the World was, and how it was growing more dangerous, and I said this.

The only way to stop this, or at least slow it down, is to bring balance back to the government. With only 199 days left to the election, and two and halve years til 2008, the left is running out of time. They NEED to stop playing the stupid games. They NEED to forget Bush. Get in there and change the things you do not like. With the House, Senate, and even Supreme Court all controlled by one party, the party has total power. I would feel this way no matter which party is in this situation. There must be a balance. In nearly every case, ultimate power leads to ultimate destruction. But the Left is NOT going to get there with "Hate Bush". They are not going to get there with "Impeach Bush". They are not going to get there without a plan.

Yes I WAS trying to help the Democrats. Then I learned WHO they really were. I learned WHAT they had become. I tried to stop them. I failed. They took over and we have what we have. They took the House, Senate, and along came Obama. My warning of ultimate power leading to ultimate destruction, was never proven more true.

Now there is balance. We have a chance to slow down, if not completely stop the Liberals and Obama's completely Socialistic Agenda. This is a GREAT Victory for the People. Now a message to those in the House that have been given the keys. DO WANT THE PEOPLE SENT YOU TO DO! Stop Obama and the Loons in the Senate. Do not compromise. Do not negotiate. STOP OBAMA. Obama is now heading off to India where he is going to spend 200 MILLION of YOUR tax money a DAY. That's right. 200 MILLION a DAY, for like 5 days? He NEEDS TO BE STOPPED.

We do not need to work with him. We do not need to meet him half way. WE do not need to compromise. "But Pete, nothing will get done. We will have gridlock." YES! And THAT is not a bad thing. You STOP people that are doing bad things. You do not compromise or attempt to work with them. Someone is robbing a bank, you do not say "OK. I get it. But lets say you only take $100,000 and I'll let you go. Take more than that, and we may have a problem." NO. YOU STOP THEM. The President is ROBBING the Bank that IS the American Government. He is ROBBING YOU. He is still saying to you, "I have agendas and I'm sticking to them. I deserve to take this trip to India. Michelle DESERVED the trip to London. We do not care that you are unemployed and losing your house. Especially if you are White. It's our time now."

It should be interesting to see what Obama does say about all this. But to my friends out there that truly think he may lean towards the center a bit more now that the People have taken back the House? I wouldn't count on that. He IS what he IS. That is why it IS so important to STOP HIM.

For all of you new House Members? Do what you were sent there to do, or face a similar fate in 2012. DO what you were sent there to do, and you may see the Senate and the White House, change hands again in 2012. Obama needs to be thrown out. I do not care all that much about the Letter after the Name of the next President, R or D. Or even I. What I do care about is SANITY and a Love of Country. What I do care about is the Constitution. Obama cares for NONE of that, and that is why he needs to leave.

This is a GREAT Victory. Do not let those bitter about it, down play it, or burst your enthusiasm. Keep watching, and keep letting those that are in both, the House and Senate KNOW you are watching. Praise them and reward them when they do right, and make sure they understand that they will be punished if they do WRONG. Remind them who it is that they work for. They work for us. Congratulations to all NEW House and Senate Members. Now, go do the right thing.

A voice in the wilderness?

Hey folks,

Back in the day, there were very few of us, crying out to all that could hear. The New Liberalism, or Progressiveness IS a Quest For Tyranny. Obama BAD for the Country. Liberalism in today's version, BAD for the Country. They must NOT gain power to bring forth their insane agendas. America itself is at stake.

However, many fell asleep and did not hear. They dreamed the Dream that was Obama. Historic, First Black President, Peace, Green, All equal and living in the Utopia of the Liberal Ideal.

There were those, and still are, that thought Obama would pay off their Mortgages, buy them a new car. Take Millions from those greedy Millionaires and give the money to THEM. Obama even came out and said that the Sea Levels {That are threatening to wipe us all out} would lower as soon as he was ascended to the throne, uh, I mean, elected President.

Yet hear we were, I leading the way, telling you that the "Dream" was really a Nightmare waiting to flourish. But many still slept. Still dreamt. Still "Hoped." Even though they had NO IDEA what it was they were hoping for.

Record Unemployment, record housing slump, record deficits, no money, no credit, no way out of the hole, Obama taking over industries, and Healthcare. The Socialistic Agenda, Marxism at it's finest, attempting to be established. The Country as we know it, under a full fledged attack by those elected to RUN it. The Constitution all but in shreds. Courts being set up to further the Liberal Agendas. The Kooks are running the show, and continue to use Tax Payer's money as personal Piggy Banks.

People are starting to wake up. NOW, after the Lib Kooks have shown us whom they truly are, the American People REGRET the Dream. They REGRET that they fell for the SCAM. They are ANGRY that they were lied to. They Are tire of this Regime, which is what they are, governing AGAINST their Will. They are tired of being Dictated to. What to eat, wear, where to and how to live. They are tired of being insulted. Called Racists, Kooks, Imbeciles, "F---ers," ETC. They are TIRED of Insanity.

Of course I'm referring to our Idiot of the week using the word "f---ers" to describe Tea Party People and anyone that opposes Obamacare, or Obama, or ANY of the Insane Leftists Ideals.

Well all those voices are coming out of the Wilderness. They are NOW mainstream. Our winner of the Logic Award is one of them. Yeah, I know, BAD Picture, but the only one I could find. Chris Littleton, the President of the Cincinnati Tea Party.

Mr. Littleton made a GREAT point. He responded that just because Redfern didn't know the Cameras were rolling doesn't mean his point of view changes. As with MANY on the Left. They tell you who they are and what they really think when they think no one but like minded people are listening. We've seen this time and time again. I have many of them here. Check the Archives.

He added that all the accusations that Tea Partiers are racist or hateful are a "projection" of opponents' own thoughts and he'd be willing to explain to Redfern why the health care law is problematic to Tea Party participants.

{Laughing} VERY well put. He is one hundred percent right. Who are the TRUE Racists? All the way back from Slavery up to now? The Left. Sorry, just the facts. Whom is it that sees EVERYTHING through Race? The Left. Whom is it that doesn't believe in personal Freedom to make choice, and live the way you chose? The Left. Whom it is that attacks Blacks, Females, and other Minorities that do not agree with their Agendas? The Left. Whom is it that see no problem attacking one based SOLELY on their Religion? Yup, you guested it. The Left.

Amen and AMEN! Mr. Littleton. We need more like you out there telling the TRUTH about all this. We need more Christies, O'Donnells, Kasichs, and the like. Kasich is ahead by six points at this time. O'Donnel is gaining ground in the face of all the mindless attacks. We all know what Christie is doing.

How can this be seen as ANYTHING other than what it is? This IS a referendum on the EXTREME Liberal Loony Policies that we have been seeing since Obama and Crew were elected. It IS a referendum on out of control spending, Government take overs, and BIG Government in general. It IS a referendum on Politics first, People second. This applies to BOTH sides. It IS a referendum on PHONIES. People want REAL.

Yes folks, last night was not a good night for Obama, Pelosi, and Reid. It was NOT a good night for Liberalism. The Establishment got a wake up call. Anywhere you looked, Politics as usual, and phonies were being thrown out.

Scott P. Brown pulled off one of the biggest upsets in Massachusetts Political history, defeating Democrat Martha Coakley, to win the "Ted Kennedy Seat." Rand Paul defeated Trey Grayson in Kentucky's GOP Senate primary. He SHOULD beat Attorney General Jack Conway who won Senate Democratic nomination, beating Lt. Gov. Daniel Mongiardo, hands down.

One of the big News Stories coming up today? Sen. Arlen Specter is OUT! Let this be a CLEAR message to Charlie Crist here in Florida. Rep. Joe Sestak took Democratic Senate nomination, ousting five-term Sen. Arlen Specter. He will be facing Former Rep. Pat Toomey who won Republican Senate nomination.

Another big news story today? Sen. Blanche Lincoln failed to win the majority of votes in the Democratic primary. Lincoln is headed toward a June 8 runoff with Lt. Gov. Bill Halter for her Party's nomination. Yet? Whomever wins that, will face Rep. John Boozman who won Republican nomination for Senate.

In the Pennsylvania Governor's race, Attorney General Tom Corbett captured Republican nomination and will be facing Allegheny County Executive Dan Onorato Who won Democratic nomination. My money would be on Tom Corbett.

In Oregon's race for Senate seat, Law professor Jim Huffman won Republican Senate nomination and will take on sitting Sen. Ron Wyden who won the Democratic nomination to seek a third full term. Who should also be ousted. On the Governor side, I think the Democrats are safe. Former Gov. John Kitzhaber won Democratic nomination who will take on Former Basketball Player Chris Dudley won the Republican nomination, defeating Allen Alley. But then again?

Talking about people wanting REAL? Sen. Arlen Specter was a RINO, who abandoned the Republican Party in 2009. I gave him an A for Honesty. I would love to see ALL RINOs either leave the Republican Party or be thrown out. Just be HONEST about who you are and where you stand. Well, the PEOPLE are tired of it. So Specter is out. As I said before, let this be a message to Florida's Crist.

Charlie Crist is nothing but a disappointment to me. I VOTED for this guy. In person he is a great guy. Very charismatic, personable. He said all the right things. Yet, after getting Elected, he showed himself for who he is. A RINO. He embraced Obama and his Policies and starting doing and saying things that NO Conservative should EVER do or say. When his supporters attempted to talk to him about it, he basically said "forget you, I'll do whatever I have to to stay in power and climb the latter." He even called the White House Chief of Staff looking to get Obama's support after leaving the Republican Party.

Along comes Republican Marco Rubio with 39% support, while Crist earns 31% of the vote and Democrat Kendrick Meek trails at 18%. Twelve percent (12%) are undecided. Rubio, like many others, has the backing of many in the Tea Party. Crist is toast.

Who will take over Crist's Governorship? Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum. The latest Polls show him in a 43% to 35% lead over Democrat Alex Sink. Then you also can not discount Millionaire and Business Executive Rick Scott, who came out of nowhere and has the backing of many in the Tea Party. Even though NO ONE has even really heard of this guy, a Rasmussen Report Poll, finds Scott, who is challenging McCollum for the GOP Gubernatorial nomination, is already competitive with Sink. He picks up 41% of the vote to Sink’s 40%. So even though most of the time a third Party Candidate takes votes away from Republicans, Sink can not even get ahead with THAT advantage.

Sanity won last night. Forget what you will hear today in the State Run MMD {Mass Media Drones} that simply repeat whatever the White House tells them. This IS without doubt, referendum on the EXTREME Liberal Loony Policies that we have been seeing since Obama and Crew were elected. It IS a referendum on Politics first, People second. The PEOPLE in this country WANT our Country BACK from Politicians that care only for Power, Money and Control. We WANT those in Power that care ONLY about the next election, to go away now. We WANT a Government FOR the People and BY the People. Not in theory, but in Practice. The Arrogant, Selfish, Deceitful, Haters of the REAL America, need not apply.

July 1 (Bloomberg) -- Tylenol, a 50-year-old staple of household medicine cabinets, and Vicodin, the most prescribed drug in the U.S., may face new restrictions because of the risk of liver damage tied to the ingredient acetaminophen.

Yep!

Outside advisers to the Food and Drug Administration voted yesterday in favor of a ban on Vicodin, Percocet and other prescription medicines that combine acetaminophen with a narcotic. The panel also urged that Johnson & Johnson’s Tylenol be given in lower doses than now recommended and the extra- strength version be sold by prescription only.

Why?

Acetaminophen, an aspirin alternative used to reduce pain and fever, has been a leading cause of liver injury for more than a decade. The FDA proposed tough strategies to limit overdoses after education efforts failed, a sign that it is “taking a harder look at safety” under President Barack Obama than in previous administrations, said Les Funtleyder, a health- care analyst at Miller Tabak & Co., in New York.

“This is not a problem that arose overnight,” said Sandra Kweder, deputy director of the FDA’s Office of New Drugs, after yesterday’s meeting in Adelphi, Maryland. “There is probably not one thing that will reduce the trend of acetaminophen- related liver toxicity. We had taken some actions. They alone aren’t likely to be enough.”

OK. So because some people MISUSE the product that has help MILLIONS over the years, is now being talked about being done away with and made impotent. Because the Libs think you are to stupid to use the product correctly. Not to mention it will give Government more say in more Private Industries.

Acetaminophen overdose was linked to 458 deaths, 26,000 hospitalizations and 56,000 emergency-room visits annually from 1990 to 2001, according to the working group’s report. The drug is a leading cause of acute liver failure in the U.S.

WAIT! 1990 to 2001? What about LAST year? Any UPDATED NUMBERS? How many of them were due to those MISUSING the product? How many were Suicides?

Vicodin, sold by Abbott Laboratories, and its generic equivalents are the most popular drug in the U.S., with about 125 million prescriptions dispensed last year, according to IMS Health Inc., a data research company in Norwalk, Connecticut.

“You have to balance patient safety and treatment options,” said DeAnna DuBose, a spokeswoman for Abbott, in a telephone interview after the panel’s decision. “This particular combination has been around for 30 years. It has a long history of doctors prescribing it and feeling comfortable with it.”

Prescription combination drugs account for half of acetaminophen overdoses because patients intentionally take too much or don’t realize they shouldn’t take over-the-counter Tylenol at the same time, the FDA’s advisers said. Liver damage caused by acetaminophen has reduced the number of organs available for transplant, said panel member Robert Levine.

‘Best’ Prevention

Banning prescription combinations would offer “the best advantage that I’ve seen in preventing” liver injury, said Levine, a gastroenterology professor at the State University of New York Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.

Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc., which makes Percocet, looks forward to working with the FDA, Kevin Wiggins, a company spokesman.

“We introduced a lower-dose tablet, primarily to give physicians a choice for managing the drug with their patients,” Wiggins said yesterday in a telephone interview. “This has been looked at for a long time.”

Even if the FDA doesn’t ban Vicodin or Percocet, adding tougher warnings about liver risks or reducing the amount of acetaminophen they contain may shift demand to a competing painkiller developed by Bristol, Tennessee-based King Pharmaceuticals Inc. and Acura Pharmaceuticals Inc., based in Palatine, Illinois. The companies are waiting for FDA approval of Acurox, a short-acting oxycodone pill designed to deter abuse by causing unpleasant side effects if too much is taken.

So force people to move away from what WORKS, to a cheaper and less effective alternative? Does anyone else wonder if any of these morons have interest in Acura Pharmaceuticals Inc.?

Your Government at work. The Liberals, in their mind, the smartest people in the room, know that you are to stupid to know what is best for you. So to "Save on Healthcare Costs" they want to do away with something that has been around for decades to help people who may not be able to take Aspirin. My Wife is one of them. My Niece is another.

2010 is your opportunity folks. YOU have the power to bring Sanity back to Government. YOU have the power to FIRE some of these from the Looney Left and at least slow this insanity down a bit. They are out of control and they are taking us down a road we should never go.
