Surprise! We really ARE at War. As I have told you in the past. The Fort Hood Gunman, IS a Terrorist. The failed Bomber of Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit, is a Terrorist as well. Both Muslim, BOTH trained by and has connection with, the SAME radical Imam in Yemen.
So this makes it officially TWO attacks against the US since Obama took office. None after 911 with Bush, because those that would attack us, KNEW that they would pay dearly if they attempted it. With Obama? They have no fear whatsoever.

US President Barack Obama has for the first time publicly accused an offshoot of al-Qaeda over the alleged Christmas Day bomb plot to blow up a US plane.
He said it appeared Yemen-based al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula had armed and trained the accused, 23-year-old Nigerian Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab.
The group admitted responsibility in an internet statement last week.
Mr Obama has already condemned lapses that allowed the accused, who was on a terror database, to board the jet.
In his weekly radio and video address posted on the White House website early on Saturday, Mr Obama said more details of the alleged plot were becoming clear.
"It appears that he joined an affiliate of al-Qaeda, and that this group, al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, trained him, equipped him with those explosives and directed him to attack that plane headed for America."
US officials have not until now publicly accused al-Qaeda over the incident on Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit.
Mr Obama has come under heavy criticism from Republicans, who accuse him of not doing enough to prevent attacks on the US.

Some Democrats, too, have joined the clamour for an overhaul of intelligence procedures.
The US president - who last week ordered two security reviews - used much of his latest address to outline his administration's measures to keep America safe.
He said these included withdrawing troops from Iraq, boosting troop levels in Afghanistan and targeting militants in Yemen, where the suspect spent time before the attack.
"All those involved in the attempted act of terrorism on Christmas must know you too will be held to account," he said.
Empty threats. That's what I hear. I would be willing to bet, that's what THEY hear as well.
The US Congress, meanwhile, is preparing hearings to question intelligence officials on security failings that allowed a man whom US officials had been warned about, and who had a valid US travel visa, to allegedly smuggle explosives on to a transatlantic jet.
Where are all those yelling for Obama's Head? Was this an inside Job? Did Obama allow this to happen? They knew about this. They even knew his name. Where are all the Conspiratist, and those in the Media giving them credibility?
Mr Abdulmutallab, now in US custody, is accused of trying to detonate explosives strapped to his body as the plane, with nearly 300 people on board, prepared to land.
The mid-air drama on 25 December has spawned a worldwide aviation security review.
British Prime Minister Gordon Brown warned on Friday that rising Islamist militancy had turned Yemen into "an incubator for terrorism".
He announced an international conference in London in late January to discuss the danger.
Hey, NEWS FLASH! We are at WAR. We have an Enemy that wants to kill us and destroy our way of life. They no longer fear retribution. The attacks will only grow in frequency and severity. Obama needs to do more than Talk Tough, and apparently, just a smile and false image of brilliance created by the Media is just not doing the trick.

You really don't have any credit if you keep lying. That's why the GOP is STILL in trouble. Lied us into a war. Lied to us when said we won and the war was over. Lied to us when you told us how much the war would cost and how long we'd be there for. Lied to us by not including the cost of the war in the budget. Lied to us by preaching family values then having affairs (some homosexual affairs)... on and on and on.
Of course we are at war. Bush mismanaged the invasion of Iraq (causing mismanagement of Afghanistan) and, well... we are still at war. Thanks W. (Every frickin' business that guy has touched has failed).

According to Bob Woodward's "Plan of Attack," the Bush administration diverted $700 million in funds from the war in Afghanistan, among other places, to prepare for the Iraq invasion.
Article I, Section 8, Clause 12 of the U.S. Constitution specifically gives Congress the power "to raise and support armies." And the emergency spending bill passed after Sept. 11, 2001, requires the administration to notify Congress before changing war spending plans. That did not happen.

PS. Richard Reid is a terrorist who was tried in a federal court in Boston and sentenced to life in prison - no parole. Not sent to Gitmo and tortured and held indefinitely then released to Yemen.
