Brown BAD for Obamacare, 15 States Now Suing

Preview for Sunday 011710

Hey folks.

This is To good. Get this.

This is BAD! This is BIG. A Republican might win Kennedy's Seat. This is HORRIBLE! So much for the unbiased Media. Uh? {Laughing}

Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog. Don't forget, you can also follow me on Twitter - peteropntalk, Facebook - Peter Carlock, and you can always Email me at opntalk@gmail.com.

Seriously folks, MSNBC just proves again that they are nothing more than an extension of the LWL {Left Wing Loons} and the Obama Administration. She also said this.

"Chuck, I'm interested now. NBCs deputy political director, Mark Murray, joins us now. This is bad."

"I'm interested NOW?" Now that Brown is ahead? NOW she is interested, and this is BAD! Another thing that gives her away is that she called it "Ted Kennedy's Seat." It's NOT Ted Kennedy's seat. It's the People's seat. I know, I know. Not according to the Left. They also are using this for Obamacare. They feel if Brown wins, that will be the DEATH of Obamacare. More on that in just a few minutes.

Remember this? I told you about 13 states suing over Obamacare, because of the deal that the LWL cut with Nelson to get his vote? All is not well in Lib Land. I told you that there are some, including California, that are NOT happy about some Senators, in turn the States they represent, getting goodies to buy their Votes on the Senate version of Obamacare.

Well, NOW, the number is up to 15 now. According to Reuters - Fifteen states may sue over healthcare reform

WASHINGTON (Reuters) – More than a dozen U.S. state attorneys general visited Washington on Wednesday threatening to sue the U.S. government if the so-called "Cornhusker Kickback," a special subsidy offered to Nebraska, is included in pending healthcare reform legislation.

The subsidy, which was included in the Senate version of the bill, is "capricious and arbitrary treatment of Nebraska," said South Carolina's Republican Attorney General Henry McMaster, who has organized a group of 15 attorneys to pursue a lawsuit.

The group includes two Democrats, one from Oklahoma and one from American Samoa.

Many states are outraged by the caveat, which would have the federal government cover increases in Nebraska's obligations for Medicaid, the healthcare program for the poor jointly funded by the 50 states and federal government.

Medicaid already consumes large parts of states' budgets and would require even more funding under the reform plan, which would allow greater numbers of people to enroll in the program.

If the provision is removed they will not sue, McMaster said, but the attorneys are discussing where to file a suit and if the Supreme Court would have to hear the case.

Let's hope that they will not be fooled by them taking it out, only to be able to put it in later, such as the Public Option. Let's hope that Brown WILL pull off the upset, and let's hope that more defections from the Democrats will follow. But make no mistake about it, they will say anything to get this through. They can not be trusted. This MUST be killed NOW.

OK. A quick note. THANK YOU. Went for the follow up Cat Scan Friday. I shared a bit on Facebook. I will not have any results until Thursday next week, so I'll update you all then. Don't worry about it. It is what it is and I'll deal with it accordingly. But thank you for your kind words and Prayers.

Anyway, going to fill my cup. This week is one of my favorites Don Francisco's Hawaiian Hazelnut, www.don-fancisco.com or you can find it in most local Grocery Stores Country wide. Be right back.

That just proves that fifteen states are still thinking. The rest seem to be asleep at the switch.

Hey Irish Godfather,

Yup, or they are due to receive some goodies. Like one hundred percent reimbursement for Medicaid.

Nelson’s might be the most blatant – a deal carved out for a single state, a permanent exemption from the state share of Medicaid expansion for Nebraska, meaning federal taxpayers have to kick in an additional $45 million in the first decade.

Meanwhile, States Like California only get like 91 percent or less. All to buy the Votes needed to shove Obamacare through.
