Hey folks,

OK, I understand those that hold true to their faith. I understand that some see things differently than others. In this country, if Parents believe that God will heal their child and do not seek medical attention for them because they are waiting for God to heal them they can be arrested and charged with child abuse.

Many of you know that my Wife Laura and I had to deal with some medical problems with our Son Joshua. He made it thought it fine and is doing GREAT now. Yes I’ll use this as another excuse to show him off. {Smile} You can check out his photo bucket HERE.

But this? I’m sorry, but I think this is just sick. According to Sky News - Girl Born With Two Faces Is Worshiped

A baby has been born with two faces and is being worshipped as the reincarnation of a Hindu goddess.

Baby Lali has an extremely rare condition where a single head has two faces, meaning she has two noses, two pairs of lips and two pairs of eyes.

Hours after her birth, in Saini Sunpura, 25 miles east of New Delhi, villagers came to touch her feet out of respect, offer money and receive blessings.

She has since had around 100 people a day visit.

Father Vinod Singh, 23, a farm worker, said: “My daughter is fine - like any other child.”

Sabir Ali, the director of Saifi Hospital where Lali was born on March 11, said the condition was called craniofacial duplication

Sorry, but she is NOT like any other child. This would be called a BIRTH DEFECT. Is her brain normal? Let’s say she is physically OK. What about mentally while she grows up?

He said there was no need for surgery: “She drinks milk from her two mouths and opens and shuts all the four eyes at one time.”

“She is leading a normal life with no breathing difficulties.”

Lali's condition is often linked to serious health complications, but the doctor said she was doing well.

The little girl is being hailed as a return of the Hindu goddess of valor, Durga - a fiery deity traditionally depicted with three eyes and many arms.

Jaipal Singh, village council member, said: “Lali is God's gift to us. She has brought fame to our village.”

So she is a circus side show? They will not do anything for this poor girl because the village and the parents are prospering from her defects?

Village chief Daulat Ram said he planned to build a temple: “I am writing to the state government to provide money to build the temple and help the parents look after their daughter.”

This is just sick.

Her father said he took his daughter to a hospital in New Delhi where doctors suggested a CT scan to determine whether her internal organs were normal, but he said he felt it was unnecessary.

“I don't feel the need of that at this stage as my daughter is behaving like a normal child, posing no problems.”

NO PROBLEMS!?!?

One can only hope for the best for Baby Lali. One can only hope that these parents NEVER have another kid again.
