Update On the API Conference Coming Up This Week

Preview For Sunday 092808

Hey folks,

Good Sunday Morning to you. Welcome to the Big Sunday Edition of the OPNTalk Blog.

As I told you, I attended a Conference with the API {American Petroleum Institute} President Red Cavaney at 2 pm this past Friday, along with our friend Jane Van Ryan, some other experts in the field, and about ten other Bloggers. It was about an hour and fifteen minutes long and filled full of some interesting information. Our friend Jane said that she will make sure that the transcript will be made available as soon as possible. Most likely on Monday. As soon as it is, I will be posted it and talking about the Conference itself. I really did have a great time, and look forward to the next.

I do want to wish API President Red Cavaney the best in his further endeavors, as we found that he is retiring from API on November first of this year. Good luck and God Bless you Mr. Cavaney.

So as soon as the Transcript is available, we will discuss it more. Most likely on Tuesday this week. Coming up today?

And of course we wrap things up with the
IWA For Sunday 092808
A COMPLETE Moronic Speech.

Yes I know there was a debate Friday. Here is all I have to say about that. McCain told the truth. Obama followed the Script. Nothing new was learned. They did not even really address each other. It turned out to be a big fizzle. Nothing really to talk about. We already knew everything that they talked about. So I'm not wasting any more time than this to discuss it.

What about the big news this morning? Deal Reached for Wall Street Bailout

WASHINGTON (Sept. 28) - Congressional leaders and the Bush administration reached a tentative deal early Sunday on a landmark bailout of imperiled financial markets whose collapse could plunge the nation into a deep recession.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi announced the $700 billion accord just after midnight but said it still has to be put on paper.

"It still has to be put on paper"

It's not official, nor is it final yet, so I'll wait to discuss it until it is. That really is about it on this for now. We can speculate, assume, or theorize what may be coming, but it's not done yet? So why bother wasting time talking about it?

So sit back, get your coffee, Tea, Hot Coco, or whatever gets you going in the morning, and lets get going.

Be right back with a MUST SEE Video.
Peter
