God Speed Dr. Oral Roberts

After all he did, time to rest.

Oral Roberts brought Evangelism from the traveling tent to the Television. From the love, tithes and offerings from the millions of faithful, he founded the University that bears his name, started a Hospital "City of Faith Medical and Research Center," in 1981. It was a combination of Prayer and Medicine in the healing process. Many have since followed.

He was the role model for many Pastors and Evangelists of today. Many saw him as a sort of Spiritual Father, Teacher, and Guide. He is responsible for leading untold MILLIONS of people to having Faith in God and Jesus the Christ.

There is something special about a person that dedicates their entire life to the service of others. Dr. Oral Roberts did just that. People of many Faiths from here, and all around the world loved and respected him. Through all life's trials and tribulations, from the death of his Daughter to his Wife, Sickness and frailty, Dr. Roberts continued on Teaching, Preaching, and Healing those in need.

God Speed Dr Roberts. It's time to rest. May all those who are missing him today, be comforted in the fact of knowing it is a FAR better place of which he goes, then this of which he leaves. He is with God now. There is NO DOUBT in my mind whatsoever, that he has already heard the words all those who have faith long to hear one day. Standing before Jesus himself, with Jesus looking him in his eyes with the same eyes that looked out to the masses and said "Forgive them Father, for they know not what they do." Jesus said onto him.

"Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord."
