Pro-criminals?

Hey folks,

If you live in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, Phoenix, or Fresno, I got good news for you. You can stay home May 1st. That’s right, no work or school. Why? Because they will be shut down. This according to Jorge Rodriguez, a union official who helped organize earlier rallies. Yes folks, stay home. No point in going. They will be shut down for the day.

OK, Back to reality. I’ll be going to work, just like you. The cities will be open. Things could however get difficult, but I assure you the cities will be open as usual. I haven’t really commented on this in detail. For one, I do not see the problem. If you come here through the proper channels, come here legally, and do the right thing, I say GREAT. Welcome. If you come here illegally, dis-respect and dis-regard our laws, then try to strong arm us into accepting you, you get deported. If you disrupt normal life for those who are trying to do the right thing, you go to jail. What’s the problem? OH!!!! I see, it’s an election year. Political Correctness raising it’s ugly head yet again. This is just completely stupid.

Mr. Rodriguez said, “There will be 2 to 3 million people hitting the streets in Los Angeles alone. We're going to close down Los Angeles, Chicago, New York, Tucson, Phoenix, Fresno. We want full amnesty, full legalization for anybody who is here (illegally). That is the message that is going to be played out across the country on May 1.”

Then you have the state senate in California today, passing a resolution recognizing “The Great American Boycott of 2006,” 24-13 along party lines They say that this would educate the United States about the contributions made by immigrants. Are you completely out of your mind? Some in this country have completely lost it. I agree with the dissenting Republicans that argue it sanctioned lawbreaking and encouraged children to skip school. But breaking the laws and skipping school is not important. Awarding new voters,,,uh,,I mean criminals,,no wait,,I mean poor oppressed people. Wait, what are we calling them today?

This “Shut down” of cities will fail. Trying to strong arm the government to award criminals is moronic. To allow this to happen is even more so. Then, for some of our law makers, to not only encourage this type of idiocy, but to REWARD it? When did it become PC to break our laws?

What is interesting though, you may indeed have the day off. Cargill Inc., Tyson Foods Inc and Seaboard Corp are among some that said they WILL close. Is this because they are for this? I doubt it. I bet it’s because they feel it safer, and nothing will get done, so why bother.

This is the type of thing that just simply hurts my head to think about it. The rules are simple. But the Left and Liberals are doing what they normally do. Throw out the rules for their agenda. The Right tries to come up with a plan to fix it, but they are wrong also. They are trying the same thing. Throw out the rules. Too many people are just lost for an answer. The damage is done. Millions of illegal immigrants ARE here. I say fine. Let’s secure our borders, lets deal with those we come across. Perhaps with them paying a penalty through taxation. Let them EARN their “right” to be here. Let’s NOT encourage, sanction, or reward law breaking. Let’s ENFORCE the laws we already have.
