Time to wrap things up with the IWA. You know, there appears to be a severe disconnect
between the Loons in Congress and REALITY. Well, there always is. But for our Idiot of the Week to come out and say this? When asked if he thought that the LWL {Left Wing Loons} would loose control of the House or Senate if they Vote for Obamacare, while appearing on CBS's "The Early Show," he answered this way. He said he believes the public will accept it once people understand it will end industry practices like declining coverage for pre-existing conditions and imposing monetary coverage caps. Then he said this.
"No, we don't think we're going to lose the majority."
Really? Yup. House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer says he doesn't believe Democrats will lose control of the House by jamming Obamacare down the throats of the Majority of Americans want nothing to do with.
EVERY poll out there, including Liberal Polls, only show the highest approval rate of 38 percent. No one wants this. MILLIONS of letters, phone calls, Emails, ETC. Protests in the Hundreds of Thousands. The American people have made it CLEAR. You vote yes, we WILL Vote you out. {Sigh}
So Hoyer thinks that once they pass it, YOU will then just accept it. Because once they pass it, you will understand that this is the Utopia that they have been telling you that it is. You know, those 4 people holding signs saying pass Obamacare? {Laughing}
Do they actually believe this? Seriously. Do they? I doubt it. Why? They do not have the Votes. STILL. As of Saturday night, they decided to drop the whole deem and pass thing.
House leaders announced that they would take a separate vote on the Senate version of the health-care bill Sunday, rejecting an earlier, much-criticized strategy that would have permitted them to "deem" the measure passed without an explicit vote.
Rep. Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) said the House will take three votes on Sunday: first, on a resolution that will set the terms of debate; second, on a package of amendments to the Senate bill that have been demanded by House members; and third, on the Senate bill itself.
Then you have some in the Democrat Camp that want Obama to issue an Executive Order Banning the use of federal funds, AKA, your tax money, to fund Abortions. Why? This way, they feel those opposed to it due to the fact that the Senate Bill DOES allow this, will then Vote for it because of an Executive Order. Problem is, an Executive order can be reversed. So Obama COULD issue one. The House Votes. The President signs the Senate Bill which makes Obamacare Law of the land. Obama Reverses his own Executive Order. President Reagan used an EO to bar the use of federal funds for advocating abortion. President Clinton reversed this order when he came into office. Nowhere does it state that a President can NOT reverse his own EO.
No folks, they KNOW they are going to loose on this. They know they will loose BIG time. This is why they are doing all this maneuvering. Why they are playing all these games. For House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer to say he doesn't believe Democrats will lose control is just completely asinine. Congratulations Steny, YOU are the idiot of the Week. I suppose you have some swamp land or a Bridge to sell your colleges as well? Anyone that believes you will not loose big time over this, would be willing to buy anything. I'm sorry, but I just do not think even THEY are this stupid.
