It’s SUNDAY Time for the IWA. This weeks winner is one that deserves so much more. I have a serious question about this as well.

You know, I was scanning the news one morning to find what I wanted to talk about and found this article. I got a little confused. I started reading this and thought to myself, they are just NOW getting to this? This is old news. Seriously, nearly word for word was reported in the front page of almost every news paper like a week or two prior to this day.

I read on and found no big deal. What are they recycling THIS for? Let’s see Britney is wacked out on something, hasn’t slept in days, refuses to give the kids back, police show, drag her off to “get help.” Police and HELICOPTERS, are used. Kids “safe” with Father. Who cares. Why would you recycle this?

A Los Angeles police officer, who requested anonymity because he was not authorized to speak on the matter, said the 26-year-old pop star was being taken to get help but did not give the ambulance's desination.

I really hate sources that are anonymous because sometimes the FACTS are hard to verify. But we’ll go with this.

On Jan. 3, police were called to her Studio City home when she refused to return her two young sons, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1, to ex-husband Kevin Federline, who has custody.

Officers had paramedics haul Spears to a hospital for undisclosed reasons. She was released after a day and a half in Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

Police also went to the home Monday night after someone reported a swarm of paparazzi trespassing in the singer's gated community. When officers arrived, they didn't see anyone trespassing, police said, but citations were issued for several illegally parked cars.

Spears has been in a highly public downward spiral since filing for divorce from Federline in November 2006.

Her bizarre antics include shaving her head bald, attacking a car with an umbrella and bringing along a paparazzo pal on trips to a courthouse in her child custody case.

OK the question I have is WHY was she released after a day? Seriously. WHY is she not locked up getting the help she needs? WHY is there even a case going on right now for custody? She should NEVER get her kids back. Not until she has been clean , sober, and sane for about 5 years to prove it is real.

Again, we are watching a young girl who had the future handed to her, self destruct. People are making money on it. The kids are suffering for it. And no one seems to care about actually SAVING her from certain death. Even her.

Congratulations Ms. Spears. For NOT realizing that you are the only one that can help you, and not getting the help you need, you ARE the Idiot of the Week. Pretty please Britney, think about your kids. Think about your family. Most importantly, think about YOU. I would hate to see another Anna. You are heading that way at light speed.
